He was born November 21, 1930 in Baltimore , MD the son of the late Patrick Jordan and the late Margaret Detmund Jordan.

He was a cemetery Caretaker Superintendent.

He was the husband of Mary-Agnes Jordan (nee Huber).

Father of Carol Jordan of Randallstown, Michael E. Jordan, Jr. and wife Patricia Harlinski-Jordan of Millers, and Ruth Jordan of Randallstown .

Brother of Marie Huber of Randallstown .

Grandfather of Chris Gosnell and Nicole and Reid Jordan .

Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Liturgy (MASS) will be held Saturday, September 24, 2005 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family R.C. Church , 9531 Liberty Road , Randallstown , with Fr. Walter J. McGovern officiating.

Interment Holy Family R.C. Church cemetery , Randallstown .

Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road , Sykesville (Beside South Carroll High School) on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. With a Vigil wake service 7:30 PM.

Michael Lee Cramblitt, 36 of Randallstown, MD, died Thursday June 16, 2005 in Randallstown, MD

He was born February 3, 1969 in Baltimore County MD the son of Margaret Ann Cramblitt.

He was employed by his brother at JC Painting and also worked doing home improvements. He enjoyed baseball and football; especially the Orioles, Green Bay Packers and Ravens.

Surviving him in addition to his mother are Daughter: Kelly and Son: Michael Cramblitt of Wards Chapel. Brother and Sister-In-Law: Jeffery L. and Michele Cramblitt of Littlestown , PA Nieces: Christina, Ashley Cramblitt and Brooke Tierney all of Littlestown , PA.

She was the fiancé of Carl Lawson of South Carolina .

She was born June 13, 1964 in Arlington , VA the daughter of Raymond Aubrey Sears and Pamelyn berry Kline.

Ms. Sears enjoyed Fishing and Boating and having a good time.

Surviving her in addition to her fiancé and parents are Sons: Sonny and Daniel Eustace both of Montgomery Village., Sister: Allyson Sparrow of Sykesville and Step-son: Scott Eustace of Germantown .

Memorial Services will be held Monday January 2, 2006 at 1:00 PM a t Burrier-Queen Funeral Home And Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield , MD 21784 with the Rev. Monroe Wright officiating.

Nevada "Bobbie" Smith Justice
73, of Mt. Airy, MD
1931 - 2005

Nevada “Bobbie” Barbara Smith Justice, 73 of Mt. Airy, MD, died Thursday April 14, 2005 at Westminster Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the spouse of the late Everett Eugene Justice, Sr. she was born April 26, 1931 in Unionville, MD the daughter of the late George Lester and Gladys Mae Ledford Smith.

She worked for over 30 years at the Double T Diner at Rolling Rd and Route 40. She was also a caregiver to the elderly. She was a member of the Westminster Moose and American Legion Gold Star Post 191 Mt. Airy, MD and Four Counties VFW Post 10076 Mt. Airy, MD.

She is survived by an Adopted Son and nephew- Gary Redmond of Westminster, Step-daughter Darlene D. Claypoole of Mt. Airy . Sisters: Ruth Geraldine Smith of Virginia , Carrie I. Ecker and Husband Sam of Finksburg and Shirley Silvius of Reisterstown , Brother George Herbert Smith and wife Charlotte of Finksburg. Numerous Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by Step-son Everett Justice Jr., Brother Calvin G. Smith and Sister Lola M. Shoemaker.

Funeral Services will be held Monday April 18, 2005 11:00 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield , MD 21784 with the Rev. Roger Rinker of Calvary Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will be in Poplar Springs UMC cemetery, Poplar Springs, MD the family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday 7-9 and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 1393 Progress Way Suite 908 Eldersburg, MD 21784

Nowlin S. Phillips
90, of Hanover, PA
1915 - 2005

Mr. Nowlin Strawsburg Phillips, 90, of Hanover, Pa., formerly of Ellicott City and Eldersburg, Md. died after a long illness of cancer on December 30, 2005,at his home surrounded by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Nowlin was the youngest of five children, born on December 18, 1915 to the late Noah W. and Josephine (Watkins) Phillips of Long Corner, Md.

He graduated from Mt. Airy High School in 1934. From 1940 until his retirement in 1980 he worked in Baltimore for A.D.T. Alarm Systems.

He loved attending church, listening to Dr. Charles Stanley sermons, square dancing, playing cards, attending Blue Grass Assoc. in Sykesville, flying to visit granddaughters and their families in San Diego, Ca. and Jaffrey, Nh. He took pride in mowing his own and his son’s lawn and growing beautiful roses and tomatoes.

He was a former member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Sykesville, Md.

He was the adoring husband of Hattie Belle (Lugenbeel) Phillips for 63 years who preceded him in death on November 21, 2002.

He is survived by one daughter, Ruth Waskey of Essex, Md., three sons, Dr. R. Wayne Phillips of Hanover, Pa., Richard N. Phillips of Catonsville, Md., and Paul W. Phillips of Allentown, Pa., 12 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.

Friends may call from 3 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM on Sunday, January 1, 2006 at Burrier Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA 1212 W. Old liberty Road, Winfield, MD 21784.

Services will be held at 11 AM Monday, January 2, 2006 at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) with the Rev. Roland (Bud) Brown of St. Paul United Methodist Church, of Sykesville, Md. officiating.

Interment immediately following at Morgan Chapel United Methodist Church cemetery, Woodbine, Md.

Phyllis Idella Heft Wilcoxen, 74 of Westminster, MD, died Saturday, July 23, 2005 at Brinton Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was the spouse of the late Floyd Brown and her second husband the late William Wilcoxen.

She was born July 21, 1931 in Bridgeton , NJ the daughter of the late Thomas Heft and the late Mildred Watkins Heft.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing.

Surviving are Daughters: Sharon Higgs of Sykesville, Deborah Isaacs of PA and Son: Floyd Brown of Baltimore . Sister: Margorie Trout of MD, 5 Grandchildren, 3 Step-grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Services will take place Wednesday July 27, 2005 12 Noon at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A., 1212 West Old Liberty Rd. Winfield , MD 21784 with the Rev. O.F.”Bud” Kibbe officiating

Ralph E. Johnson, age 77, of Ijamsville, died Wednesday May 4, 2005 at his home.

He was born March 19, 1928 in Frederick County, Maryland, the son of the late Gabriel Orem and the late Alma Mason (nee Johnson).

He was the husband of Bethel I. Johnson (nee Anderson) of Ijamsville.

He was a Construction Foreman for Williams Concrete Company. He served in the US Army as a Corporal during the Korean War. He was a member and treasurer for many years at Fountain Mills Methodist Church in Ijamsville. As a teenager he sang with the Gospel Jubilee Quartet. He sang with the Versatiles for over 40 years.

Pall bearers will be Charles Anderson, Jr., Wayne Anderson, Kevin Anderson, Keith Lee, Radford Mason and Jonathan Mason; Honorary Pallbearers will be the Versatiles: Thurmond Tyler, Ernest R. Thomas, Sr., Michael Costley, Thomas C. Hoy, Jr., and Kenneth Wallace.

Survived by Son Michael Carter of Dallas , TX . ; Sisters-in-law; Rachel Mason, Charlotte Anderson, Thelma Anderson, Estelle Peach, Catherine Woodyard and Sarah Anderson, Kristen Anderson; Brothers-in-law; Stanley Anderson, Charles Anderson and Lawrence Anderson .

Brother of J. Sherman Mason, Jr. and Nathan Orem. And Betty Johnson.

Godchildren: Charles Anderson, Jr., Shela Jackson and Amanda Linthicum.

Also survived by Aunts Mrs. Alma Johnson of Philadelphia , PA and Mrs. Matilda Gray of Clarksburg , MD.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday May 10, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road , Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) with the Rev. Ross Jackson of West Falls Christian Community Church in Mt. Airy and Rev. Samie Conyers officiating.

Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA in Winfield on Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 AM, at which time funeral service will begin.

Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens , Frederick, MD

Randy Lee Redmond, age 45, of Westminster, died Sunday March 13, 2005.

He was born June 22, 1959 in Baltimore, Maryland the son of Ruth Geraldine Redmond (nee Smith) of Parksley, VA and the late Floyd Mathew Redmond.

He was the brother of Gary Redmond of Westminster, Floyd and Kathy Redmond of Parksley, VA, and Ruth and Henry Perry of Parksley, VA and the late Michael Wayne Redmond.
Also survived by several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday March 17, 2005 at 12:00 Noon at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) with the Rev. O.F. “Bud” Kibbe officiating.

Private Interment

Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA. On Thursday from 11:00-12:00 noon.

Ray Jackson Lagle, 76 of Eldersburg, MD and formerly of Beltsville, MD, died Friday July 1, 2005 at home in Eldersburg, MD

He was the spouse of Barbara Virginia Owens Lagle of Eldersburg...

Mr. Lagle was born January 31, 1926 in Charlotte , NC the son of the late Crea Lagle and Eulah Tillman Lagle.

Mr. Lagle was retired from Household Finance Corporation as a Supervisor. He served during WWII in the United States Navy.

Surviving besides his wife are Daughter: Debbie Lagle of Eldersburg, Son and Daughter-in-law: Butch and Kathy Lagle of Beltsville, Daughter and Son-in-law: Ginger and Bob Borie of Eldersburg. Grandchildren: Erin and Emily Lagle of Beltsville, Nicole, Robert and Troy Borie.
