A 1971 Graduate of Penn State School of Journalism with a degree in advertising. She taught advertising at the University of Maryland, Howard University and lectured at Johns Hopkins. Deborah established her own media buying service, Media Vision, in 1990 in Bethesda. Memorial service at Christ Church Parish, 4001 Franklin Street, Kensington, MD on Friday, December 3 at 2 p.m. Interment Private. MARYLEE BUCHLY

Marylee Price Buchly, age 92, born on February 14, 1918, died peacefully at her home in New Market, MD on Sunday, November 21, 2010. She was a descendant of one of the original founding families of Maryland, arriving on The Ark and Dove at St. Mary’s, Maryland in 1634. She was born in Washington, DC. The eldest child of Lee and Maude Price, and attended DC public schools. She graduated with honors from Strayer Business School. She married Albert Buchly in 1942 and moved to Maryland where she raised her family. She was the Administrative Secretary of Rock Creek Forest Elementary School for over 30 years. She was widowed in 1986. She is survived by her brother, Leonard Price; her three children: Stephen Buchly, Dr. Mark Buchly, and Karen Hopkins; her four grandchildren: Shannon Nelson, Matthew Buchly, Rebecca Kelly, and Andrea Hopkins; and her great granddaughter, Ania Nelson. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Monday 7 to 9 p.m. where service will be held, Tuesday, November 30, at 11 a.m. Interment Fort Lincoln cemetery.
