On Tuesday, July 7, 2009. A native Washingtonian, Miss Saur retired from the Justice Department in 1981 after 37 years of government service. She is survived by her sisters, Rose Marie Marzetta and Barbara Ryan; her brothers, George Saur and Joseph Saur; 18 nieces and nephews, 42 great-nieces and nephews, and one great-great nephew.
