Mr. Harry Eyler
Mr. Harry Albert "Cat" Eyler, 92, of Woodsboro, died Sunday, April 26, 2009, at Northampton Manor Health Center, Frederick, after an extended illness.
Born Nov. 19, 1916, in Woodsboro, he was the son of the late James Albert and Mary Irene Keeney Eyler. He was the wife of Mary Agnes Baker Eyler, his wife of 68 years.
Mr. Eyler was formerly employed with Thomas Bennett Hunter Construction Co. for 43 years as a carpenter. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Wayne Autry Eyler of Woodsboro; and a sister, Peggy Eyler of Walkersville. He was predeceased by sisters, Pauline Eyler, Hallie Roofen and Alice Eyler; and brothers, Galen, Thomas and Rudell Eyler.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 30, at Hartzler Funeral Home, 404 S. Main St., Woodsboro, with The Rev. Jerry Cline, pastor of Libertytown United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Chapel cemetery, near Libertytown.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, at the funeral home.
Mr. Charles Dodson III
Mr. Charles Lewis "Chuck" Dodson III, 49, of Mount Airy, died on Friday, April 24, 2009, at the Washington Hospital Center. He was the husband of Michelle Marie Pacelli Dodson, his wife of 25 years.
Born Aug. 16, 1959, in Cheverly, he was the son of Catherine Eleanor Bell Dodson of Berwyn Heights and the late Charles Lewis Dodson Jr. Chuck was a self-employed carpenter, the best guitar player on top of the hill, and "The Great White Hunter."
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother, are three daughters, Lisa Dodson, Catherine Dodson, Melissa Dodson and a stepson, Jonathan Moran, all of Mount Airy; and a large family, including five sisters, and two special uncles, Smokey and Bud. Mr. Dodson was preceded in death by a brother.
The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd., Mount Airy, where services will begin at 1 p.m.
Interment will be in Pine Grove cemetery, Mount Airy.
Mr. Gary Webb
Gary Wayne Webb, 56, of Libertytown, died Monday, April 27, 2009, at his residence.
Born May 23, 1952, in Frederick, he was the son of the late Willis F. and Ida Reed Webb. He was the husband of Teresa Wahl Webb, his wife of 34 years.
Mr. Webb was a self-employed home improvement contractor and has worked in the carpentry field all of his life. He enjoyed spending time with his grandsons, hunting and raising rabbits. He loved NASCAR and was a big fan of the 24 car.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are son, Ryan Willis Webb and wife, Daya, of Charlestown, W.Va.; daughters, Eva Webb of Frederick and Nicole Webb of Libertytown; grandsons, Samuel and Thomas Webb; sisters, Darlene Sullivan and husband, Charles, of Urbana, and Ruth Hodges of Gettysburg, Pa.; mother- and father-in-law, Eva and Samuel Wahl of New Market; a close cousin, Donald Webb; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Donna Hubbard.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 30, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 5463 Jefferson Pike, Feagaville. Rev. Ken Gill, church pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in St. Luke's cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, at Hartzler Funeral Home, 11802 Liberty Road, Libertytown.
Mr. William Fisher
William Daniel Fisher died Sunday, April 5, 2009, at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill, S.C.
Born May 21, 1946, in Legore, he was the son of the late William Preston and Freda Irene (nee Fogle) Fisher.
Surviving are his sons, Jeffrey, Steven and Eric, all of South Carolina; his brothers, Wilbur and wife, Bonnie, of Martinsburg, W.Va. and Carroll and JoEllen of Brunswick; his sisters, Ruby Wachter of Thurmont, Gloria Willard of Rocky Ridge and Nancy Myers of Bonneville, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are by Wolfe Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bonnie Angelino
Mrs. Bonnie Louise Angelino, 64, of Frederick, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of John F. Angelino. They were married
for 40 years.
Born Oct. 18, 1944, in Fairmont, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late James and Dorothy McGraw.
She was a member of St. Timothy's Roman Catholic Church in Walkersville.
She loved decorating cakes, crocheting and most importantly she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, John, she is survived by her two daughters, Toni Duehring and husband, Ron, of Frederick, Sheri Scire of Frederick; a son, John F. Angelino and wife, Barbara, of Thurmont; seven grandchildren, Ronny, Ashley, Trevor, Shelby, Corey, Christopher and Emily; two brothers, James "Butch" McGraw and wife, Della, and John McGraw and wife, Lee; one sister, Karen Kerns; mother-in-law, Rose Angelino; and a sister-in-law, Ann Stottlemire.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Alice O'Reily.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 30, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 1, at St. Timothy's Roman Catholic Church, 8651 Biggs Ford Road, Walkersville, MD 21793.

Mr. Eric Frazier
Mr. Eric William Frazier, 29, of Thurmont, died Monday, April 27, 2009, at his residence.
Born Aug. 1, 1979, in Gettysburg, Pa., he was a son of Vienna Shirley Hawkins Frazier and the late Lamont Edward Frazier.
Mr. Frazier had been employed at the Rosemont Car Wash in Frederick.
Surviving besides his mother is a brother, Jeremy W. Frazier and wife, Samantha, of Woodsboro; and paternal grandparents, Carl and Mary Kathryn Frazier of Frederick. He will be remembered by a very special aunt, Temple Frazier Heaney and husband, James, of Walkersville; uncle, David C. Frazier of Thurmont; great-aunt, Maxine Naugle of Thurmont; very special cousins, Chandler Heaney, London Heaney and Baby Sierra Heaney; and his best friend and canine companion, Sadie.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 1, at Robert E. Dailey and Son Funeral Homes, P.A., 615 E. Main St., Thurmont.
A memorial service will be held 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be private and at the convenience of the family in Creagerstown cemetery, Creagerstown.

Mrs. Mary Brant
Mrs. Mary "Ginger/Gabby" Elizabeth Brant, 56, of Walkersville and formerly of Frederick, went into the arms of the Lord on Tuesday, April 21, 2009. She was the beloved wife of John Henry Brant Jr. for 35 years.
She was born at her home in Carroll County on Nov. 26, 1952, to the late John Henry Ford Eckenrode and Bessie Mae Eckenrode.
She was a CNA for 27 years before having to quit because of her health. She loved music and dancing and loved all of her family very dearly.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Horner and husband, James, and Malinda Brant, all of Walkersville; sister, Peggy Koons and husband, Robert, of Taneytown; brother, Kenneth Eckenrode and wife of Washington state; nephews, Kevin Koons and wife, Lisa, Brian Koons and wife, Tonya; nieces, Michelle Koons and fianc?, Thomas, and Amber Eckenrode.
She had a big heart and took people under her wing. Four special women were close to being daughters to her and had grandkids also to love, Linda Wallace and husband, Nathan, of Hagerstown, Tammy Trimmer of Walkersville, and Brandy Wiles and husband, Daniel, of Frederick; grandchildren include, Cain and Hunter Wallace, Dustin Shoemaker, Breanna and Renee Carroll, Dustin Holt, Kylee and Daniel Wiles Jr.
A memorial service was held Saturday, April 25.
Mrs. Elisabeth Leskowitz
Mrs. Elisabeth Leskowitz, 80, of Middletown, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at her son's home in Gaithersburg. Elisabeth joined her late husband, Georg, on the day of their 58th wedding anniversary.
Born April 7, 1929, in Hungary, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Maria Hauser Eszlinger.
Mrs. Leskowitz was a member of Holy Family Catholic Community.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Leskowitz and wife, Pat, of Gaithersburg; two grandchildren, Kristina Kingsbury of Sunderland, Carolyn Woodham and husband, Jon, of Germantown; three great-grandchildren, Kyle, Abby, Cole and Lily; and two sisters in Germany, Maria Palliccia and Brigitta Lohse.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 30, at Holy Family Catholic Community, 7321 Burkittsville Road, Middletown.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the Church at noon Friday, May 1, with Father John Moore as celebrant.
Interment Christ Reformed Church cemetery, Middletown.
Mrs. Doris Horman
Mrs. Doris Lee (Fogle) Horman, 74, of Frederick, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 28, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by loved ones by her side and the caring staff of Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center.
She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Norman Lee Horman. Born Sept. 10, 1934, in Frederick County, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Virginia Fogle Sr.
Mrs. Horman was a long time and active member of the Hyattstown Christian Church, where she served as an Elder, was treasurer for 19 years, treasurer of the CWF, taught Sunday School, was the organist and pianist for the children's choir and loved singing in the church choir.
As a young woman, Mrs. Horman worked at Frederick Tailoring Sewing Factory, and at the Maryland National Bank as a file clerk, bookkeeper, teller and senior collection clerk. She was employed there for 34 years and retired as financial service manager and senior officer of the bank. After retirement she worked for nine years at the College View Nursing Home in the payroll and billing department. She was a very active member of the AARP. She loved playing bingo, camping and spending time with her family.
Surviving besides her husband are brothers, Thomas W. Fogle Sr., and wife, Shirley, Charles W. Fogle Sr., and wife, Janice; sisters, Betty M. Brashears and husband, Bernard T. Sr., Sandra J. Dayhoff and husband, Ray Sr., Cynthia Diane Brown and husband, Gary, and Ella Fay Mumaw; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy C. Fogle. She was preceded in death by a brother, Harvey F. Fogle Jr.; and a sister, Patsy Ann Dutrow; brothers-in-law, Stanley E. Brashears, Charles M. Dutrow and Gus Horman; sisters-in-law, Bertha Thompson, Eunice Miller, and Mary Ellen Lewis; and a nephew, Allen Lee Brashears.
She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. She will be greatly remembered by her close friend, Martha Cooley.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 1, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. Services at the funeral home will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Dr. Terry Reister, the Rev. John Powell and Pastor Benjamin C. Manning, officiating. Pallbearers will be Brian Davis, Bernard Brashears Jr., Kyle Brashears, Steven Flook, Eddie Flook and Harvey R. Miller III.
Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Hyattstown Christian Church Scholarship Fund or Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Jasper Lambert Jr.
The Montgomery County Career Fire Fighters Association, IAFF Local 1664, regretfully announce the passing of retired Brother Jasper T. "Jack" Lambert Jr., on Wednesday, April 29, 2009. Brother Lambert was appointed to the Rockville Fire Department on Dec. 29, 1974, and retired from the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service on March 1, 2006.

Mr. Charles Frey
Mr. Charles "Charlie" H. Frey, 88, of Frederick, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009, at Homewood at Crumland Farms. A memorial service for friends and family will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at Evangelical Reformed UCC, 15 W. Church St., Frederick. A reception at 2 p.m. will precede the service.

Mr. Erman Eaton
Erman (Buck, Jack) Eaton, 82, of Hedgesville, W.Va., died Saturday, May 16, 2009, in the VA Medical Center.
Born Nov. 13, 1926, in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Erman and Pearl (Palmer) Eaton.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy on a mine sweeper. He was a life member of the American Legion, the Moose Lodge and worked for Coca-Cola as a salesman for more than 35 years. His previous residences were on Garfield and Upsher streets in Washington and on Gallatin Street in Hyattsville, Md.
Surviving is his son, James W. Eaton and wife, Pamela J. Eaton, and their sons, James W. Eaton Jr. and Kenneth L. Eaton; granddaughters Melanie Eaton-Miller and Kimberly Kaye Eaton-Comulada. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary K. Eaton, and son, David L. Eaton; three brothers, Paul W. (Jim) Eaton, James W. Eaton, and Claude (Unk) Eaton, a sister, Francis M. Eaton-Slater, and by companion, Helen Elaine Hubbard.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, at Rosedale cemetery, 917 cemetery Road, Martinsburg.
Interment will follow in Rosedale cemetery, Martinsburg.
