Edgar Franklin Zepp, Jr. of Chester, MD. died Monday November 29, 1999 at his home. He was 77.
Born on May 21, 1922 in Jessup, MD. He was the son of the late Edgar Franklin and Marie Booker Zepp. He was a graduate of Catonsville High School and a graduate of Maryland Institute of Art in Baltimore, MD. he began his career as an apprentice at B&O and Reveere Cooper & Brass, he later worked for National Plastics, Inc. in Odenton, MD. for 25 years as a Plant Engineer where he presided over the building of several Plants on the East Coast & Canada. Mr. Zepp later enter into a partnership with N-I-N-E, Inc. in Odenton, MD. where then manufactured Kitchens & Institutional furniture. He retired as president of N-I-N-E, Inc. in 1984 and moved to the Eastern Shore.
Mr. Zepp was a member of Howard Masonic Lodge #101, Tall Cedars, Boumi Temple, Member of Old Wye Parish in Wye Mills, Md., Boumi Yacht Club in Elkridge, Md., Ambassadors Shriners, Member of Kent Island Yacht Club, was a founding member of Kent Narrows Yacht Club, and enjoyed boating.
He is survived by his wife June Adeline Gettman Zepp to whom he married
on August 12, 1944; two sons E. Franklin Zepp III of Easton, MD. and Mark Edward Zepp of Stevensville, MD. Two grandchildren Cory E. Zepp and Rebecca Leigh Zepp.
A Memorial Services will be held 11am Monday December 6th, 1999 at St. Luke’s Chapel in Queenstown, MD. Inturnment will be in Lorraine Park in Woodlawn, Md. at 2:30PM. Lillian Jeannette Fleetwood, of Easton, died on Monday, November 29, 1999 at the Dixon House, Easton where she had resided for the last 24 years. She was 102.
Born in Talbot Co. Feb. 14, 1897, she was the daughter of the late James Edward and Lillian Dulin Cryer. For a number of years, she resided in Wilmington, Delaware, where she was a payroll clerk for the railroad. After retiring, she lived in Oxford, Md. until moving to the Dixon House.
Her husband, Deolia Franklin Fleetwood, died in January of 1964.
Mrs. Fleetwood has no immediate survivors.
Funeral services will be held at the graveside in Spring Hill cemetery, Easton, on Friday, December 3rd, at 1 P.M.

Greg Lee Johnson of Stevensville, MD. died suddenly from complications due to cancer, on November 29, 1999 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He was 23.
Born April 1, 1976 at Easton, MD. He was the son of Frances Faye Satchell Johnson and the late Vernon Lynn Johnson. He was a Queen Anne’s County High School graduate. Class of 1994.
Greg was a member of the Kent Island Youth Soccer League and the Queen Anne’s County High School varsity Soccer team, where he was co-captain. He atteded Chesapeake Community College and played soccer there as well. Later he transferred to Salisbury State University where he studied Geography. Greg was a member of the Geography Club, worked for the Geography Department and as a graduating senior, planned to study Climatology. He enjoyed surfing and body boarding and being near the sea.
He is survived by his mother Faye Johnson of Stevensville, MD. One brother Duane Lee Johnson of Silver Spring, MD. One sister Jodi Lee Johnson Fornicola of Salisbury, MD. Paternal Grandmother Virginia Johnson of Centreville, MD ;Maternal grandparents Francis and Rowena Satchell of Easton, MD. and one nephew Ethan Michael Fornicola
Services will be held on Thursday December 2, 1999 at 11:00 AM at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home in Chester, MD. Friends and family may call on Wednesday December 1, 1999 between the hours of 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral Home.

On November 29, 1999, Raymond Earl Hill of Fort Ave in Baltimore died at the Meridian Nursing Center- Corsica Hill Centreville MD after a long illness. He was 91 years old. He was born in Baltimore MD on June 17, 1908 the son of the late William Hurst Hill and the late E. Louise Klein Hill. He attended school in South Baltimore. On Aug. 20,1927 he married
Hattie Louise Lanehart Of South Baltimore. She predeceased him March 13, 1957. Mr. Hill worked as a truck driver for Westvaco Paper Co. for over 40 years. He retired in 1969. He was a member of Teamsters Union.
One daughter survives him: Dorothy Louise Stevens of Chester MD. One sister: Evelyn Foster of Pasadena MD, Two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. One son predeceased him the Raymond E. Hill, Jr. who died Nov. 29, 1986 and two brothers: James Preston and William Hurst Hill.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday December 1, 1999 in the Glenn Haven cemetery
in Glen Burnie MD at 12 noon.

Florence Williams Olson of Winston-Salem, NC died at her daughter's residence in St. Michaels, MD on Saturday, November 27, 1999. She was 82.
Born in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota on April 23, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Clyde C. and Florence Stillinger Williams. In the early 1930's she married
Donald Olson. She worked as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in St. Joe's Hospital in St. Paul, MN from 1956 until her retirement in 1979. She then moved to Texas for ten years before settling in Winston-Salen, NC where she lived at the Country Village Apartments for the last 11 years.
Mrs. Olson was a member of the Fruitful Life Church in Winston-Salem, NC.
She is survived by a daughter, Joan E. Hayes of St. Michaels; a daughter-in-law, Kathi M. Olson of St. Paul, MN; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A son, Donald C. Olson, two brothers, Clyde Williams and George Williams, and two sisters, Laura Williams and Jenny Williams, are deceased.
Memorial services will be held at the Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Winston-Salem, NC on Thursday, December 2, 1999 at 3:30 PM. Burial will be private.

Lenora Virginia Barnes of Millington, Maryland died at Kent General Hospital, Dover Delaware, on November 26, 1999. She was 84 years of age.
Born in Queen Anne’s County, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Elwood and Martha V. [Knight] Maule. She has spent all of her life in the Kent and Queen Anne’s county areas. She married
Harry H. Barnes and together they raised a family of two. Active in her community, she was the last surviving charter member of the Millington Vol. Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was active in A.A.R.P. and was the center of her family. During her spare time she loved to grow flowers and raise vegetables. She was particularly fond of raising African violets. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed being around her friends and family. She loved to cook and serve dinners for her community through the fire department activities.
Her husband Harry H. Barnes who died in 1994, and by 2 brothers, Franklin Maule, Elwood Maule, and a sister Helen Rash precedes Mrs. Barnes in death.
She is survived by her two sons, James Barnes of Wilmington, De., and Elwood Barnes of Millington, Md, a sister Mary Vernon of Wilmington, De., and by her brother Harry Maule of Barclay, Md., 3 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made in her name to the Millington Vol. Fire Dept., PO Box 255, Millington, Md 21651
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 1999, 11 AM at the Millington Asbury cemetery

Washington Irving "Tut" Tuttle, IV of Queenstown, MD. Died Friday November 26, 1999 at his home. He was 75.
Born on January 16, 1924 in Queenstown, Md., he is the son of the late Washington Irving and Elizabeth Bishop Tuttle, III. He attended Centreville High School and graduated from the Charlotte Hall Military Academy in Southern Maryland. He served in the U.S. Army Airforce during WWII. He was stationed in the South Pacific, from Australia to Japan. Mr. Tuttle returned from the war and became a carpenter – leading to boat building. He worked for Charlie Morgan, a Florida boat builder, for John Trumpie of Annapolis, Md., and for Knox Marina, of Camden, Maine
. In 1964, he married
Alma Lillian "Pam" Thomas, of Queenstown, Md. She predeceased him in 1997.
Mr. Tuttle served one term as Commissioner for the Town of Queenstown in the 1960’s and was a member of the Sierra Club of Easton, Md. He was Treasurer of Queenstown Volunteer Fire Department; served on the Vestry of Old Wye Church, Wye Mills, Maryland; and was very active in environmental protection.
Mr. Tuttle worked on the B36, which was used at the end of the WWII for the Atomic Bomb. This plan was never used in combat but consisted of 10 engines, 4 jets and 6 combustible engines for propellers.
J. "Chip" Tuttle and David I. Tuttle, both of Queenstown, Maryland, a sister, Shirley Freestate of Easton, Maryland and 5 grandchildren, survive Mr. Tuttle.

Cindy McGrane Horney died in a car accident on Friday, November 26, 1999. She was 34.
Born in Baltimore on May 29, 1965, she was the daughter of Howard E. and Trudy Price McGrane. After graduating from Easton High School in 1983, she continued on to receive her nursing certification. She then began working at the Memorial Hospital, Easton and then later at the House in the Pines, Easton. On August 4, 1984, she married
Donald A. Horney, Jr. and they made their home in Easton.
Mrs. Horney was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Cambridge Branch.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by two sons, Patrick A. Horney and Christopher W. Horney, both of Easton; and a sister, Wendy M. Clark of Easton.
Funeral services will be held at the Fellows, Helfenbein, & Newnam Funeral Home, Easton on Wednesday, December 1, 1999 at 11:00 AM. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 7-9 PM. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Easton.

Owen Sherwood Price, of Easton, died at the Genesis Eldercare-The Pines, Easton, on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 1999. He was 84.
Born in Easton, September 4, 1915, he was the son of the late James Edward and Clara Elizabeth Andrew Price. After attending public school, he worked in a number of occupations including farming, aircraft manufacture during World War II and with his brother in the farm equipment business before starting his own home improvement business known as Owen S. Price, Home Improvements. He retired from this business in the 1960's. For a number of years, he had his own musical band known as "The Melody Ramblers".
A resident of Easton for the majority of his life, he was a member of the First Baptist Church in Easton.
His wife, the former Grace Shahan whom he married
on Sept 30, 1933, died Dec. 9, 1996.
Mr. Price is survived by a daughter, Shirley E. Simonds of Greenwood, Del.; two sons, James Edward Price of Easton and Clifford O. Price of North Carolina; a sister, Edna P. Gannon of Easton; a brother, Melvin E. Price of Easton; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Another brother, Maurice L. Price, is deceased.
Funeral services will be held at the graveside at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Easton, on Monday, Nov. 29th, at 11 A.M.
Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church, Idlewild and Hanson Sts., Easton, Md. 21601.
