He was born February 16, 1928 in Winfield, MD the son of the late Alfred Augusta Garfield Cook and the late Della Cook (nee Jason).
He was a self-employed cabinet maker. He was a member of Fairview U.M. Church in Taylorsville.
He was the husband of Martha Ann Cook (nee Lowman).
He was the father of Deborah Cook and Brian Cook both of Woodbine.
He was the brother of Maurice Cook of Sykesville, Pearl Thomas and Bernice Wilson both of Winfield.
Loving grandfather of Brian Cook II and Jared Cook.
Also survived by several Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, sister and brother-in-laws.
Funeral Service will be Friday February 11, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) with the Rev. Doris Ridgely of White Rock U.M. Church in Sykesville officiating.
Interment will be in Fairview U.M. Church cemetery, Taylorsville, MD

Mary Louise Hutchins Cross, 85 of Westminster, MD died Sunday March 6, 2005 at Westminster Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was the spouse of the late James Emory Cross. She was born August 27, 1919 in Woodbine, MD the daughter of the late Howard Oliver Hutchins and late Carrie Lee Musgrove Hutchins.
She was formerly employed by Nations Bank. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Mt. Airy, MD
Surviving her are Sister-in-law Ann Hutchins of Louisiana and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by Brother and Sisters: Howard O. Musgrove, Jr, Dorothy Underwood and Margaret Haugh.
Services will be conducted on Friday March 11, 2005 3:00 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 West Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 with Chaplain Judy Stayer from Carroll Hospital Center officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Margaret P. Bennett (nee Porter), age 89, of Woodbine, died Tuesday March 8, 2005 at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Mt. Airy, MD.
She was born May 7, 1915 in Woodbine, MD the daughter of the late Ollie Porter and the late Mamie Porter (nee Green).
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Jennings Chapel Church in Woodbine.
She was the wife of the late Russell C. Bennett
She was the mother of Ollie R. Bennett and wife Shelby J. of Woodbine, Gerald E. Bennett and wife Joan F. Bennett of Woodbine and the late Linda K. Halterman and her husband Samuel Eugene of Woodbine.
She was the sister of Elsie Conaway of Woodbine, Irene Gue of Mt. Airy, Myra Davis of Mt. Airy, Dollie Barnhart of Westminster and Irma Jane Gartrell of Mt. Airy.
Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren

Lawrence Howard Martin, Jr., 73 of Westminster, MD died Tuesday March 8, 2005 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD. He was the spouse of 7years to Sharon Anne Brandt Martin.
He was born August 16, 1931 in Williamsburg, VA the son of the late Lawrence Howard Martin, Sr. and late Glenise Martin.
He was a retired Industrial Electrician with Tropicana and was currently employed with Carroll Installation. He served during the Korean War in the US Army. He was a member of American Legion Post 31 in Westminster, MD an Avid Sports Fan, Enjoyed working on computers and was a volunteer at the Carroll County Farm Museum.
Surviving are Son and Daughter: James Gregory Martin and Mary Martha Martin both of Wisconsin and Step-Children Gerald Duane and Kristy Michelle Kirk. 12 Grandchildren
Preceded in death by Brother Robert Tucker Martin.
Funeral Services will be Saturday March 12, 2005 11:00 AM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A., 1212 West Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday 5 to 9 PM.

Jonathan N. Frans, 46 of Finksburg, MD died suddenly on Friday March 11, 2005 in Finksburg, MD. He was the spouse of 21 years of Roxanne M. Day Frans. He was born August 19, 1958 in Baltimore, MD the son of Yetta Weisberg Frans of Baltimore and the late Zoltan Joe Frans.
Mr. Frans was the owner and operator of Frans Automotive Service Center in Finksburg.
He enjoyed riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles.
Surviving are daughters and son-in-laws: Keri and Scott Hall of Crofton and Shelley and Casey Piscitelli of North Carolina. Grandchildren: Aidan and Cian Piscitelli, Brother and Sister-in-law Steve and Bea Frans. Sister and Brother-in-law Renee and Gary Rutstein also survived by several nephews.

He was born June 22, 1959 in Baltimore, Maryland the son of Ruth Geraldine Redmond (nee Smith) of Parksley, VA and the late Floyd Mathew Redmond.
He was the brother of Gary Redmond of Westminster, Floyd and Kathy Redmond of Parksley, VA, and Ruth and Henry Perry of Parksley, VA and the late Michael Wayne Redmond.
Also survived by several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.

She was born June 5, 1962 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of Mary Dorn (nee Kimmelshue) of Florida and the late Vernon Dorn, Sr.
She was a retired sergeant at the Maryland State Police. She loved jewelry and Gardening and her pets.
She is survived by her husband Timothy S. Warner.
Stepmother of Ryan Warner and Chelsea Warner.
She was the sister of Debbie Page (nee Dorn) of Florida and brother Butch Dorn of North Carolina.
She was the loving aunt of 1 nephew and 2 nieces. She is also survived by her loving companions Primo, Nugget, Tucker, Isiah, Foxy and Rambo.

She was the Mother of Edna Bowman of Winfield, Barbara Bowman of Baltimore, Thomas Bowman of Libertytown and the late Richard Bowman, Jr.
Also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Predeceased by 5 brothers and 10 sisters.
