He was the spouse of the late Ethel Bartell Pahl
Mr. Pahl was born November 17, 1918 in Baltimore, MD the son of the late Frederick J. Pahl and the late Hilda K. Grill Pahl.
Mr. Pahl was a retired Comptroller for Revere Copper and Brass and also was retired from Charles Campers where he worked for 20 years. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Enjoyed Gardening, Reading and Spending time with his grandchildren and Great-grandson.
Surviving him are daughter and son-in-law: Janice and Bobby Kirkner of Westminster and Son Frederick F. Pahl, Jr. of Rockdale. Grandchildren; Chrissy and Brett Kanther and Denise and Dimitri Vourlos. Great-grandson: Jacob Kanther
Preceded in death by brothers: Vernon and Douglas Pahl.
Funeral Services will be held Monday November 14, 2005 2:00 PM with viewing 1 hour prior to service at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 with Pastor Robert Day of St. James Lutheran Church officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 Pm

Vincent D. Dyer, Jr. Age 57, of Hanover, PA, formerly of Westminster, was found deceased on Thursday November 10, 2005 and pronounced deceased at York Hospital, York, PA.
He was born February 11, 1948 in Elizabeth, New Jersey the son of the late Vincent D. Dyer, Sr. and the late Doris Claire Dyer (nee Sharkey).
He was a self-employed wholesale/retail Book Dealer. He was a member of Road Runners Classic Car Club in Sykesville, MD and was a Proud Owner of the most expensive $2500 dollar El Camino “driver” on the face of the earth.
He was the loving father of Patricia and Aleisha, and Carrie Nichole.
He was the loving brother of- Kenneth O. Dyer of Mt. Airy, Joel F. Dyer of Baltimore and Theresa A. Jackson of Mt. Airy.
Loving grandfather of Lilly and Sidney.
Funeral Liturgy (MASS) will be held Tuesday November 15, 2005 at 11:00 AM at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church ( Parish Center ), Rt. 75, Libertytown with Fr. John Dietzenbach officiating.
Interment will be in St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church cemetery, Libertytown.

Dorothy T. Stegman (nee Barnes), age 90, of Westminster, Formerly of Taylorsville, died Wednesday November 16, 2005 at Carroll Hospital Center, Westminster, MD.
She was born December 18, 1914 in Carroll County, Maryland the daughter of the late Frank J. Barnes and the late Ella Bowers Barnes.
She was a resident at Westminster Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center since 1983, 22 years. She was a graduate of Western Maryland College ; was a member of the Ladies Aid Society. She was an accomplished Horse Women at the Westminster Riding Club. In her younger years she was very active in Taylorsville U.M. Church and the community. She was a Sales person for BG & E.
She was the wife of the late Walter LeRoy Stegman.
She was the mother of Patricia Stegman Norman of Kill Devil Hills, NC.

Mrs. Elizabeth Jean Skinner Hardesty, 73 of Winfield, MD, died Monday November 21, 2005 at her home in Winfield, MD
She was the spouse of Robert Hugh Hardesty of Winfield.
She was born October 19, 1932 in Montgomery County MD
She was the daughter of the late George Skinner and the late Mary King Winters.
Mrs. Hardesty was retired from driving School Buses for Montgomery County Public Schools. She loved making flower arrangements, Gardening and shopping.
Surviving her in addition to her spouse are Son and daughter-in-law Fred and Peggy Oaks Jr. of Berkley Springs WV, Daughter: Elizabeth Jean Dempsey of Mount Airy. Brother: George Skinner of Takoma Park, MD, Sister: Mary May-Grover of North Beach, MD Brother and Sister-in-law; Joseph and Peggy Skinner of Laytonsville, MD Sister Cecelia Winter of Gore VA, Brother; John Skinner of Lynchburg, VA, Grandchildren: Frankie Lee, Edward Hunter, Elizabeth Ann Dickenson, Breannan Marie Dempsey, Holly Christina Pelton all of Mt. Airy, and Danniel Joseph Oakes of Berkley Springs WV
Preceded in death by son: the late Joseph Oakes.

Ambrose Robert “Beau” Cremen, Jr. age 64. of Marriottsvile, died at his home on Tuesday November 22, 2005
He was born November 25, 1940 in Baltimore, MD the son of Dorothy A. Cremen (nee Swach) of Pikesville and the late Ambrose Robert Cremen, Sr.
He was the Beloved husband of Mary S. Cremen (nee Smith) for 37 years.
He was a 1958 graduate from Calvert Hall. He was in the US Air Force from 1961-1964. He was a Retired Supervisor/Analyst at Social Security Administration. He was a lifetime member of the Randallstown Optimist Club. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, boating and family activities.
He was the father of Mary Colleen Cremen of Cockeysville and Joseph Robert Cremen and fiancé Ita Merles of Eldersburg.
Brother of Catherine M. Trently, Richard E. Cremen, Dorothy A. Rankin, Matthew J. Cremen, Mary Ann Lord and the late Jane F. Cole.
Survived by many in laws, nieces, nephews and friends.

She was the daughter of the late Charles Oliver Welsh and the late Lucy Virginia Welsh (nee Owings).
She was born June 16, 1910 in Mt. Airy, MD.
She was a Department secretary for the Baltimore Gas & Electric Company for 11 years, she attended Strayer Business College. She was a former member of Wards Chapel U.M. Church and then Mt. Olive U.M. Church in Mt. Airy. She was a housewife and devoted mother. She enjoyed Traveling.
She was the wife of the late James Burgess Condon who died on January 24, 2001.
She was the mother of Burgess James Condon of Ellicott City Md.
Grandmother of Kelley M. McIver and Husband Edward of Westminster
Great grandmother of Ashley and Irelyn and Quinn McIver of Westminster.
Sister of the late LeRoy Welsh, late Oliver Welsh, late Virgie Barnes and the late Mamie Foster.

Johanna A. Dryden (nee Forsterling), 85 of Sykesville, MD, died Wednesday November 30, 2005 at Carroll Hospital Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward N. Dryden.
She was born August 3, 1920 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late William Forsterling and late Henny Forsterling (nee Bolte).
She was a retired office manager from C&P / Bell Atlantic Telephone Company where she was employed for 28 years. She was a member of Oakland United Methodist Church in Sykesville, MD.
She is survived by cousin Hedy & John McGinnis of Sykesville. Also survived by Bonnie L. Miller and Gary P. McGinnis.

Ruby Ann Logue (nee Gartrell), age 82, of Mt. Airy, died Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at Sinai Hospital, Baltimore, MD.
She was born October 2, 1923 in Montgomery County, Maryland, she was daughter of the late Carl W. King and the late Ruth Brashears King and was raised by the Late Roy and Late Safonia Pickett.
She was the wife of the late Alvia Gartrell and the late Wilford Logue
She worked for English American Men’s Tailoring Company for 37 years and was an Avon representative for over 35 years. She was an avid traveler and had visited all 50 States and 8 countries including Europe, Cuba, Mexico and Canada. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family and friends and was an active member of the Deer Park U.M. Church in Smallwood.
Surviving are sons Larry E. Gartrell of New Windsor and Robert C. Logue and daughter in law Shirley Logue of Mt. Airy, grandchildren David Logue and wife Cassie, Michael Logue and wife Beth, Shelly Logue Laney and Husband Mike Laney, Allen Gartrell, and Debbie Gartrell-Kemp and husband Mike Kemp all of New Windsor; 6 great grandchildren and long time devoted and very special friend Nilo Vidi of Woodbine, and many nieces and nephews.
