Died Sunday March 16, 2003 at Carroll County General Hospital.

Born November 24, 1930 in Reisterstown, MD she was the daughter of the late Benjamin McCauley and the late Hildred Peltzer Tolman.

Mrs. Drapkin, a homemaker, was the spouse of Emanuel Drapkin.

She loved caring for Birds, Cats and Chipmunks.

She is survived by daughters Deborah MacNeil of Pasadena, Dorothy Keith of Westminster, Cynthia Ford of Columbia, Faith Hammond of Lutherville, and Step-daughter Tracy Brown; Brother William McCauley of Hagerstown, and Sisters Ann Taylor of Florida and Margaret Hogan of Parkville.

Mrs. Dapkin is also survived by 10 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home, 1212 West Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD Wednesday March 19, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM with an Evening Funeral Service at 8:00 PM

The family will serve refreshments at their home, 5903 Woodbine Rd., in between viewing hours. on Wednesday.

Irene Catherine Duvall Fritz 88, of Frederick, MD
1914 - 2002

Died, Wednesday March 19, 2003 at Citizens Nursing Home in Frederick.

She was the spouse of the late Harry B. Fritz.

Mrs. Fritz was born August 28, 1914 in Laytonsville, MD

The daughter of the late William W. Duvall and late Patty Everly Duvall.

She was a home cleaner.

A Life Member of Locust Grove Church of the Brethren.

She is survived by Son: William Fritz of New Market, Son: David and Wife Mattie of Virginia. Daughter: Elsie and her husband Harold Schultz of Frederick, MD.

Daughter: Mabel and her husband George Horton of Mt. Airy and Daughter Ann and her husband Jim Shearer of Mt. Pleasant.

Survived by and cared for by Grandson Billy Fritz, Jr. also by numerous other grandchildren.

Preceded in death by 4 Sons: Donald, Jimmy, Robert and John Fritz.

Funeral Services will take place Monday March 24, 2003 11:00 AM, with viewing from 10:00 AM until time of service, at Locust Grove Church of the Brethren, 13356 Glissans Mill Rd. Mt. Airy, MD 21771.

Interment will be in the Church cemetery.

The Family will receive friends on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home, 1212 West Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD

Kathleen Wilson Scheel 88, of Mt. Airy, MD
1914 - 2003

Kathleen Wilson Scheel (nee Bohn) age 88, of Mt. Airy, MD died Friday March 21, 2003 at Frederick Memorial Hospital, Frederick, MD.

She was born June 24, 1914 in Mt. Airy, MD the daughter of the late Shirley Bohn and the late Mary Bohn (nee Wilson).

She was a homemaker. She farmed, living on the farm since 1940 on Old Annapolis Road, She was a member of the Farm Bureau, She also worked in Food Service at Linganore High School, and she was Secretary for the 55 plus club for 17 years in Mt. Airy, She was a member of the Prudence Chapter 95, Order of the Eastern Star in Mt. Airy, which she held many offices including Marshall and twice as Worthy Matron. She was a member of Prospect U.M. Church and she was past secretary and president of (WSCS) Women's Society in Mt. Airy. She loved cooking, reading and traveling.

She was the wife of the late William A. Scheel, Jr.

She was mother of William A. Scheel III and wife Linda of Mt. Airy and David R. Scheel and wife Brenda of Mt. Airy and the late Mary Irene Tabler and husband late Ralph E. Tabler, whom died in 1965.

Sister of Ronald Bohn of Mt. Airy.

Grandmother of Beth Stockman and Husband Robert of Mt. Airy, Angela Scheel of Mt. Airy, William A. Scheel IV and wife Carrie of Mt. Airy, Daniel R. Scheel and wife Stephanie of Falls Church, VA.

Also survived by 7 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren

She was predeceased by one great grandson late Robert Stockman, Jr.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday March 25, 2003 at 11:00 AM at Prospect U.M. Church, 5923 Woodville Road, Mt. Airy, with the Rev. Susan Boehl of Prospect U.M. Church in Mt. Airy and Rev. Ernest Thayil officiating.

Interment will be in Prospect U.M. Church cemetery, Mt. Airy, MD

Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Directors, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM

Robert Lee Bradford, Sr. 87, of Westminster, MD
1915 - 2003

Robert Lee Bradford, Sr., age 87, of Westminster, Formerly of Pikesville, died Friday March 21, 2003 at his home.

He was born July 22, 1915 in Belair, MD, the son of the late Rueben Bradford and the late Gertrude Bradford (nee Rudicill).

He was a retired Accountant for B & O Railroad. He was a member of Westminster Baptist Church in Westminster. He severed in the Army during WWII.

He was the husband of the late Theresa Frances Bradford (nee Pennington).

Christian Father of Robert L. Bradford, Jr. of Upperco, Thomas P. Bradford of Woodbine, Richard B. Bradford of Ellicott City, Howard C. Bradford of Westminster, Penelope S. Burke of Miami, FL and Judith F. Staubs of Westminster.

9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday March 25, 2003 at 10:00 AM at Westminster Baptist Church 354 Crest Lane, Westminster, MD with the Pastor Richard B. Bradford of Ellicott City Assembly of God officiating.

Interment will be Emory U.M. Church cemetery, Upperco, MD.

1933 - 2003

George Nelson Zumbrun, age 69 of Owings Mills, Maryland, died Monday March 24, 2003 at University Hospital in Baltimore, MD.

He was the husband of Helen V. Zumbrun (nee Tracey).

He was born November 27, 1933 in Manchester, MD the son of the late Rock H.N. Zumbrun and the late Mary M. Zumbrun (nee Rill).

He was a retired Sgt. State Police served 1956-1986. He was in the United States Army from 1958-1964. He was a member of Granite Presbyterian Church in Woodstock, and a Life Member of Liberty Road Vol. Fire Co.; He also retired from The Rouse Company in 1996 as a Retail Security Officer. He was an Employee of the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home in Winfield.

Devoted father of Mary A. Mattison of Union Bridge, Tracie L. Green of Randallstown, George N. Zumbrun, Jr. of Randallstown, Jay P. Zumbrun of Hanover, PA and Mark N. Zumbrun of Jacksonville, FL.

Stepfather of Ronald James Spealman of Dundalk, Michael B. Spealman of PA and James E. Spealman of Manchester.

Dear Brother of Monzie Yingling of Manchester and William H. Zumbrun of Hampstead and the late John D. Zumbrun

She was born January 12, 1904 in Baltimore.

The daughter of late William Francis Feeney and the late Anna Wolfe Feeney

Survived by sister Anna M. Mazziott of Woodbine, MD

Niece: Anne and Husband Thomas Bradford of Woodbine.

Preceded in death by sister Erna Feeney.

Funeral Services will take place Tuesday April 1, 2003 10:00 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Directors, P.A., 1212 West Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD with the Rev. Richard B. Bradford, Sr. of Ellicott City Assembly of God officiating.

Interment will be in Emory United Methodist Church cemetery, Upperco, MD

Louise Mullinix Day, age 74, of Woodbine, Died Tuesday April 1, 2003 at University Hospital in Baltimore, MD.

She was born in Carroll County, Maryland on January 12, 1929 the daughter of the late Beverly Cornelius Mullinix and the late Audrey Wilson Mullinix.

She was a homemaker. She was an active member of Morgan Chapel U.M. Church in Woodbine, serving on various committees.

She was the wife of the late Fred A. Day.

Sister of the late Wayne W. Mullinix, Sr.

Aunt of Wayne W. Mullinix, Jr. of Woodbine, Karen Singel of Windsor, PA, Roy Day of Winfield, Mark Day of Taylorsville, and Debbie Dorsey of Taneytown.

Cousin- Doris Yuspa of Pikesville, MD

Serving as Pallbearers will be: Roy Day, Mark Day, Leonard Singel, John Singel, Wayne Mullinix and Larry Singel.

Funeral Service will be held Friday April 4, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at Morgan Chapel U.M. Church, 6750 Woodbine Road, Woodbine, MD with the Rev. Arthur Monroe of Morgan Chapel U.M. Church in Woodbine officiating.

Interment will be in Morgan Chapel U.M. Church cemetery in Woodbine, MD
