Cherished grandfather of 7 and brother of Susan Campbell and George White. Mr. Straw is also survived by his mother in law Lucille Nicholson and his step mother Emily Straw.

MOXLEY, E. RUSSELL, SR.

On February 12, 2005, E. Russell Moxley, Sr., of Howard County, beloved husband of the late Bessie G. (Zimmerman) Moxley, father of the late E. Russell Moxley, Jr., grandfather of Charles R. Moxley, Barbara C. Terry, Cindi S. Adcock and the late William B. Moxley, Great grandfather of Bridgett Moxley, Tiffany Taylor, Joshua Terry, Patrick Adcock and Erika Terry. Mr. Moxley was predeceased by his siblings Lillian V. Streaker, Janie Stromberg, M.Catherine Sauter, Mildred, James R., Sr., Mark, Norman E., Sr. and Stanley Moxley.

Friends may call at the Family Owned Slack Funeral Home, P.A. 3871 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City on Monday and Tuesday 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services Wednesday 10 a.m. at Rockland United Methodist Church, 8971 Chapel Avenue, Ellicott CIty, MD 21043. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Mr. Moxley's name to the above church at the above address. Interment Good Shepherd cemetery.

On July 12 2005, Russell Lyall Smith of Ellicott City, beloved husband of the late Iris (Mitchell) Smith, devoted father of Lyall C. Smith of Allentown, PA and Janet Smith Hall of Ruxton, MD. Grandfather of Christopher Lyall Hall, Andrew Harrison Hall and Nicole Smith. Brother of Harriet Fowles, Charlotte Smith and the late Dorothy Boing, Leroy and Joseph Smith.

Friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Saturday July 16, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens, 2150 Mount View Road, Marrriottsville, MD 21104. Doarnberger, Robert L.

On June 29, 2005, Robert Lee Doarnberger, beloved husband of Barbara (nee Morawski) Doarnberger. Loving father of Eric Lee Doarnberger and his wife Karen, Sabrina M. Knouse and her husband Steven and Alicia A. Malinowski and her husband Ted. Cherished grandfather of Tanner J. Malinowski. Dear brother of the late Barbara Ann Slauson. Mr. Doarnberger is also survived by his brothers in law, Phil Slauson and Eugene Morawski and his wife Linda.

Friends may call at the family owned Slack Funeral Home, P.A. 3871 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City, Saturday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon at which time funeral services will take place. Interment, Columbia Memorial Park, at a later date. Alfred Sheffey Lawson

Alfred S. Lawson, 84, of Poolesville, died on Thursday March 29, at the Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville. He was the husband of Lorraine Lawson. Born on March 4, 1917 in Chilhowie, Virginia, he was the son of the late Ann E. Lawson. Surviving besides his wife are his children; Yvonne Taylor of West Virginia, Alfred E. Lawson of West Virginia, Charles Lawson of Germantown and Dale Lawson of Poolesville, one sister; Virginia Mae Atwell of Frederick, 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and one sister-in-law, Katherine Strouth of Union Bridge.

He was preceded in by one son, Buford Lawson and 3 grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Friday March 30th from 7-9pm at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road (Rt. 109), Barnesville, where funeral services will be held on Saturday March 31st at 11am. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Memorials and Tributes Processing Center, P.O. Ms. Laura A. "Mickey" Benson

Laura "Mickey" Benson, 73, of Gaithersburg, died on Thursday August 2 at the Potomac Valley Nursing and Wellness Center in Rockville.
Born on December 30, 1927 in Gaithersburg, she was the daughter of the late William S. and Nellie H. Burdette Benson.
Surviving is one sister, Rebecca Benson of Silver Spring, her niece and guardian Mable Sizemore of Frederick and several other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Wilson and Gilbert Ballenger and two sisters, Nellie Nichols and Dorothy Wynkoop.
Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Mr. Ernest R. Dudley

Mr. Ernest Randolph Dudley, 69, of Dawsonsville, died on Sunday August 5 at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda.
He was the husband of 46 years of Emily Allnutt Dudley.
Born on September 10, 1931 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late William Randolph and Mary Elkin Dudley.
Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Mary Owen and husband James C. of Mt. Airy, Barbara Herald and husband Michael W. of Frederick, one son Edwin Dudley of Dawsonsville, one sister Ada Dudley Candor of Ohio, two grandchildren, Michael and Pamela Herald of Frederick, two nephews James Candor and wife Lee Ann of Pennsylvania, Robert Candor and wife Jennifer of Ohio, their children Ross and Kathleen Candor and one niece Mary Haley and husband John of Ohio.
Family will receive friends on Monday August 6th from 7-9 pm at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road (Rt. 109), Barnesville, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday August 7th at 11 am. Rev Florence Ledyard will be officiating.
Interment will be in Monocacy cemetery, Beallsville.

Mrs. Dorothy E. King

Dorothy E. King, 85, of Germantown, MD, died on Friday October 26 at the Montgomery Village Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Gaithersburg, MD.
She was the wife of the late Andrew W. King.
Born on April 5, 1916 in Rockville, MD she was the daughter of the late John and Bertha Taylor Thomas.
Surviving are five children; Larry King of Dickerson, MD, Elva Figuracion of Waldorf, MD, Harry King of Woodbine, MD, Patsy Spies of North Carolina, Thomas King of Urbana, MD, one sister; Marjory Worters of California, 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Pauline Bryan.
Family will receive friends on Sunday October 28 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road (Rt. 109), Barnesville, MD where funeral services will be held on Monday October 29 at 11 am.
Interment will be in Monocacy cemetery, Beallsville, MD.

Mr. Robert E. Landis

Robert E. Landis, 38, of Poolesville, MD died on Monday October 22 in Tacoma, Washington.
Born on September 30, 1963 in Bethesda, MD he was the son of Carole Barnhill of Germantown, MD and Joseph Landis of Poolesville, MD.
Surviving besides his parents are his step-mother, Pam Landis of Poolesville, MD, one son, Dylan Landis, one step-daughter, Amy Hopkins and their mother, Valerie Landis all of Poolesville, MD, one brother and three sisters; Tammy Simmons-White of California, Joseph Landis, III of Washington, Debbie Brooks and Jennifer Landis both of Poolesville, MD, a paternal grandmother, Doris Rooker of Millersville, MD, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Monday October 29 from 7-9pm at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road (Rt. 109), Barnesville, MD.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 30 at 11am at the Poolesville Memorial United Methodist Church, 17821 Elgin Road Poolesville, MD.
Interment will be in Monocacy cemetery, Beallsville, MD.

Mr. Robert "Bobby" Kinna

Robert "Bobby" Kinna, 54, of Frederick, died on Saturday December 15 at his residence.
Born on June 14, 1947 in Frederick, he was the son of the late Russell James and Gladys Morningstar Kinna.
Mr. Kinna was a 25 plus year employee of the Prospect Plaza CVS / Peoples Drug store in Frederick.
Surviving are his brothers and sisters; Peggy Louise Flynn of Delaware, William H. Kinna of Mississippi, Mildred Larmer of Frederick, Sonja Smith of South Carolina, Donna Hoffman of Emmitsburg and Larry A. Kinna of Frederick. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Kinna was preceded in death by one brother, Tommy Kinna.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday December 18 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road (Rt. 109), Barnesville, MD, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 19 at 11 am.
Interment will be in Monocacy cemetery, Beallsville.

Mr. Edward H. Ziner

Edward H. Ziner, 70, of Silver Spring, MD died on Monday December 17, 2001 at his residence.
Born on June 25, 1932 in Washington, DC he was the son of the late Martin and Anna Ziner.
Surviving are two brothers; Martin Ziner of Bank O'Dee, MD and Mark Ziner of Poolesville, MD, one sister; Virginia Black of Camp Springs, MD and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday December 20, at 10am at the Poolesville Baptist Church, 17550 West Willard Road, Poolesville, MD. Interment is private.

Dr. James Stephen "Steve" Kennedy

Dr. James "Steve" Kennedy, 59, of Boyds, Maryland, died on Wednesday May 29, 2002 at the Casey House of Montgomery Hospice in Rockville, Maryland.
He was the husband of Myra Propst.
Born on May 27, 1943 in Cleveland County, North Carolina, he was the son of Laura Humphreys Kennedy of Shelby, North Carolina and the late John Kennedy.
Dr. Kennedy received his BS and PhD in Pharmacology from the University of North Carolina where he was class Valedictorian and student body president. He held various positions with the Food and Drug Administration and the National Institutes of Mental Health. He served as the Executive Director for the Joint Commission on Prescription Drug Use and most recently held positions with Otsuka America Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and PSI International, Inc.
Surviving besides his wife and mother are three children; Amy Kennedy of St. Augustine, Florida, Brendon Kennedy and Devin Kennedy both of Germantown, Maryland, one brother; Jack H. Kennedy of Shelby, North Carolina and one grandchild; Amira Kennedy.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 15, 2002 at 4pm at the Jay Cinque Residence, 22300 Slidell Road, Boyds, Maryland. Rev. Merritt Ednie of the Boyds Presbyterian Church will officiate.

Mr. Harry A. Dutko

Harry A. Dutko, 67, of Poolesville, Maryland, died on Tuesday May 21, 2002 at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital.
He was the husband of 27 years of Carol Ann Dutko.
Born on April 28, 1935 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Harry A. and Mary Brogan Dutko.
Mr. Dutko was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Barnesville, Maryland for 23 years, an active member in the Knights of Columbus #6901, belonged to the University of Notre Dame Alumni and volunteered at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital for 9 years. Before retirement Harry worked at IBM and was a member of the "IBM Club".
Surviving besides his wife is a brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Thomas and Myrna Allder of Oxon Hill, Maryland, 2 nephews; Thomas and Matthew and one niece; Elizabeth.
Family will receive friends on Friday May 24 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Rd. (Rt. 109), Barnesville, MD .
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday May 25 at 11am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 18230 Barnesville Rd., Barnesville, MD. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 4200 Harewood Rd., N.E., Washington, DC 20017.

Mr. William Parsley

William Andrew "Andy" Parsley, 27, of Barnesville, MD, died on Thursday July 18 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, MD after his seven year struggle with brain cancer.
He was the husband of Kristen L. Parsley.
Born on November 18, 1974 he was the son of Jim and Jane Parsley of Adamstown, MD.
Mr. Parsley was a 1992 graduate of Poolesville High School and received his associates in arts degree from Frederick Community College. He also attended Salisbury State University.
He was most recently employed as the facilities manager at the Barnesville School.
Surviving besides his wife and parents are one brother, Chris Parsley and wife Joanne of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia; his grandparents, R.P. and Ida Lutz Brown and Sarah E. Parsley; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; his father and mother-in-law, Gary and Edie Smith of Thurmont; and three brothers-in-law, Jeff Smith and family of Arkansas, Jason Smith of Frederick, Maryland and Jarret Smith of Thurmont, Maryland.
Mr. Parsley was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lawrence Price, Jr.
At his request, Mr. Parsley's body was donated for medical research to Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC.
Memorial services were held on Wednesday July 24 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Barnesville, Maryland.
