Ronald C. Wiseman

Mr. Ronald C. Wiseman, 53, of Gaithersburg, died on Friday April 4, 2008.
Born on November 12, 1954 in Frederick, he was the son of the late Martin and Anna Roberson Wiseman.
He was employed by Montgomery County for 30 years until his retirement in January of 2004.
Surviving are two sisters, Robin Carol Wiseman and Cindy Lou Wiseman both of Gaithersburg. Ronald was the nephew of Leonard and Trannee Roberson.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday April 8 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Rd. (Rt. 109), Barnesville, MD where funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 9 at 11 am.
Interment will follow in Monocacy cemetery, Beallsville, MD.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.

William E. Aud

Mr. William E. Aud, "Bill", 91, of Frederick, died on Thursday April 3, 2008.
He was the husband of Helen S. Aud.
Born on December 25, 1916 in Poolesville, MD, he was the son of the late William Lee and Carrie Fawley Aud.
Bill was a member of the Maryland Historical Society and the Society of Former Special Agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Surviving besides his wife are his two children, Susan S. Messerley of Linville, VA, William L. Aud of Frederick, two grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Beverly Shahinian, two brothers; Rodney and Ralph Cubitt and two sisters; Ruby Payne and Anna LeBlanc.
The family will receive guests from 10 to 11 am at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Rd. (Rt. 109), Barnesville, MD on Monday April 7th. with funeral services following at 11 am.
Interment will be in Monocacy cemetery, Beallsville, MD.

Donald P. Barr

Mr. Donald P. Barr, 74, of Barnesville, died on Tuesday April 1, 2008 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick.
He was the loving husband of Mary C. Barr.
Born on September 18, 1933 in Barnesville he was the son of the late Harold and Estelle Jamison Barr.
Surviving besides his wife is his son, Timothy A. Barr of Barnesville, one sister, Edith J. Luhn and husband Tod of Barnesville, 2 grandsons, Matthew and Daniel Barr, two great granddaughters, Kylie and Kaylin Barr. He will also be remembered by his nieces and nephews and a long time friend James White.
He was preceded in death by one brother, George W. Barr.
Family will be receiving friends on Thursday April 3 from 6-8 pm at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Rd. (Rt. 109), Barnesville where funeral services will be held on Friday April 4 at 11am. Interment will follow in Monocacy cemetery, Beallsville.

Mildred W. Austin

Mrs. Mildred W. Austin, died peacefully at home on March 31, 2008 in Boyds, MD of congestive heart failure at the age of 95. She was born on December 11, 1912 in Park Mills, Frederick County, MD to the late William G. and Bettie Harding Warfield.
Preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, William C. Austin, in 1997, she is survived by sons William Charles, Jr. and wife Susanne, Robert Donald and wife Jean both of Burtonsville; Edward Samuel of Hawthorne, CA; James Richard and wife Carol of Rockville; and daughter Judy Marie Austin Goff and husband Peter of Granby, CT; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother Warren Warfield; and sisters Edna Stowers, Doris Hough and Betty Lee Dunlap.
The family will receive guests for viewing from 10 to 11 am at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Rd. (Rt. 109), Barnesville, MD on Saturday April 5, 2008. Funeral services will follow the viewing with interment immediately following at Monocacy cemetery, Beallsville, MD.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church Building Fund, 13700 Schaeffer Road, Germantown, MD 20874.

Carrie M. Kinsella

Mrs. Carrie M. Kinsella, 98, formerly of Ijamsville, died Saturday, March 29th, at St. Catherine's Nursing Home in Emmitsburg, MD.
Born July 1st 1909 in Dennysville, Maine, the daughter of Burdette and Maizie Brown; she was the wife for 46 years of the late William Kinsella.
In her early years she taught kindergarten at St. Mary's Academy in
Alexandria, and sewing classes for the Singer Sewing Company. She was a master seamstress who also enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
Surviving are her daughters Patricia Chmelik and her husband Joe, also of Ijamsville; and Eily Brenner of Burnsville, VA. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two sons, William and John, one grandchild, Carolyn and her son-in-law, George Brenner.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 A.M. Saturday on April 5th at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 18230 Barnesville Road, Barnesville, MD. Friends may attend a viewing at St. Mary's church one hour before the mass. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius cemetery, Urbana, MD. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to St. Catherine's Nursing Home, 331 South Seton Avenue, Emmitsburg, MD 21727.

David C. Fowler

Mr. David Cromwell Fowler, 93 of Bethany, WV passed away Saturday March 22, 2008 at the Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, Rockville, MD. He was born May 4, 1914 in Wellsburg, WV, son of the late Fred and Ruth Lentz Fowler. He was also preceded in death by his 1st Wife, Pearl Fowler, August 26, 1997 and two Sisters, Mary Fowler Fluharty and Katherine Fowler Martin. He was a retired electrician employed by Monongahela Power Company. He was a member of the Bethany Memorial Church, Bethany Masonic Lodge, where he was Past Master, Wellsburg Loyal Order of the Elks, and formerly an active leader of the 4-H. Surviving are, his 2nd Wife, Evelyn Riggs Fowler, of Bedford, VA., two Daughters, Sandy Gilliam and her Husband, Randy, of Barnesville, Maryland, and Cynthia Warner and her Husband, Dan, of Hobe Sound, FL., one Sister, Polly Caseman, of Wellsburg, WV., and 3 Stepchildren, Barbara Miller, and her Husband, Earl, of Nashville, TN., Clayton Riggs and his Wife, Sue, of Bedford, VA., and David Edgar Riggs and his Wife, Patty, of Wellsburg, WV., and 3 Grandchildren, David Fowler Gilliam, Courtney Warner and her Husband, Joe, and Danielle Marie Weaver, 3 Step Grandchildren, Clayton Riggs, Jr., Timothy Miller, and Melissa Sherlock, and 4 Step-Great Grandchildren. Friends will be received on Friday, March 28, from 11:00 until time of services at 1:00 P.M. at the Bethany Memorial Church, with Pastor Sarah Webb, officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin cemetery, Wellsburg, WV. Arrangements by the Chambers Funeral Home, 1030 Main St. Wellsburg, WV.

Kari B. Stamberg

Mrs. Kari B. Stamberg, 94 of Silver Spring, died on March 20, 2008. Mother of John Stamberg of Barnesville. Services are private.

Donald Alan Schaeffer

Mr. Donald A. Schaeffer, 81, of Poolesville, MD, formerly of Huntingtown, MD died peacefully on Wednesday March 19, 2008.
He was the loving husband of Jeanne Schaeffer.
Born on April 10, 1927 in Kittanning, PA he was the son of the late Raymond and Vera Schaeffer.
Mr. Schaeffer served his country in the United States Navy and was a charter member of the Elks Club Lodge #2620 of Prince Frederick, MD.
Surviving besides his wife are his children, Donald A. Schaeffer, Jr. of Quantico, MD, Clements V. Mitchell of Woodbridge, VA, Micky Schaeffer of Prince Frederick, Barbara J. Payne of Poolesville, 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday March 21 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Rd., Barnesville. where funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday March 22. Interment and graveside services will be held on Monday March 24 at 2 PM at the Trinity United Methodist Church cemetery in Prince Frederick. Mary L. Kennedy

Mrs. Mary L. Kennedy, 86, of Poolesville, MD, died peacefully on Monday March 17th, 2008.
She was the loving wife of the late William H. Kennedy.
Born on June 15, 1921 in Academia, PA she was the daughter of the late Roy and Edith Kinzer Beers.
Surviving are her two children; Sandra L. Kennedy of NC, Lawrence Kennedy of Poolesville, one sister, Dorothy Hetrick of NV, one brother, Roy Beers, Jr. of NJ, seven grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday March 24 at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Rd., Barnesville. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Poolesville Memorial United Methodist Church, 17821 Elgin Road, Poolesville, MD 20837.

Henry Francis Collins, Jr.

Mr. Henry F. Collins, Jr., "Bud", age 77, of Germantown, MD died on Sunday March 16, 2008 at his much beloved Kirkhill Farm.
He was the loving husband of Harriett B. Collins.
Born on August 20, 1930 in Washington, DC he was the son of the late Henry F. and Mary F. Collins.
Mr. Collins proudly served his country in the 187th Regional Combat Team in the Untied States Army from 1951-1954 during the Korean War. He was "One of the Seven".
He worked as an Engineer / Systems Analyst for the House of Representatives.
Surviving besides his wife are his children; Henry F. Collins, III of Germantown, Paul R. Collins of Leesburg, VA, James L. Collins of Ijamsville, MD, Mark A. Collins of Oakton, VA, three sisters; Florence Zook, Alice Frankforther, Mary Dixon and five grandchildren; Jessica, Emma, Christina, Kyle and Ryan Collins.
He was preceded in death by his two brothers; William Collins, Sr., Richard Collins, Sr.,
A memorial service celebrating Bud's life will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday March 22 at the family's residence located at 15811 Darnestown Road, Germantown, MD 20879.
Inurnment with Military Honors will be held at 3 pm on Tuesday April 8 at Arlington National cemetery, Arlington, VA. Please arrive to the cemetery office by 2:30 pm. Charles E. Hite

Mr. Charles E. Hite, 94, of Clarksburg, MD, died peacefully on Sunday, March 2, 2008 at the Golden Living Center in Frederick, MD.
He was the husband of the late Sara K. Turner Hite.
Born on April 15, 1913 on The Hite Farm in Jamestown, OH he was the son of the late Charlie D. and Lena Oglesbee Hite.
Mr. Hite was a member of the Masonic Clark Lodge #101 in Springfield, OH; Washington, DC Lodge #1; York-Rite Masons; he was active as an amateur radio operator (W3SOG); a founder of the Frederick Repeater Group; active with the Civil Defense in the 1940's and 1950's; a member of the National Amateur Press Association; lifetime member of the NRA; member of the Brotherhood of the Jungle Cock (an organization devoted to father and son fishing); Clarksburg Civic Association; Hite Family Association based at Belle Grove Plantation in Middleburg, VA.
Mr. Hite was an avid musician. He started playing the clarinet, but later picked up the saxophone and was amazing on the baritone sax. He played and entertained in many venues throughout his life including the Officer's Club at Bethesda Naval Hospital, the Comus Inn, the Van Cleve Hotel and Pappy's Country Kitchen in Dayton, OH. He was a life-long lover of music the arts.
Surviving are his children: Charles W. Hite of Grovetown, GA, Sara J. Harren of Ijamsville, MD, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a nephew, Daniel Jasper of Jamestown, OH.
Services will be private. Memorial donations can be made in his name to the Jamestown Historical Society, P.O. Box 162, Jamestown, OH 45335.

Randy Lee Carter

Mr. Randy Lee Carter, 50, of Darnestown, died on Thursday February 28, 2008 at Montgomery General Hospital in Olney.
He was the son of the late Walter and Helen Reed Carter, Sr.
Surviving are his two children; Christina Logan of Glen Burnie, Randy Lee Carter, Jr. of Frederick, his brothers and sisters, Grace Turner of Gaithersburg, Roy Carter of Damascus, Barbara Painter of Boonsboro, Walter Carter of WV, Alice Monday of Poolesville, Patsy Webb of Frederick, Nancy Littleton of Poolesville, Helen McNeer of Hagerstown, Richard Carter, Sr. of Frederick, Donald Carter of Poolesville, one step-daughter, Deanna Geisbert of Frederick and two grandchildren, Alayshja Burnett and Araya Logan.
He was preceded in death by one brother, William Carter.
The family will receive friends on Sunday March 2 from 5-8 pm at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Rd. (Rt. 109), Barnesville, MD where funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday March 3. Interment will be in Darnestown Presbyterian Church cemetery, Darnestown, MD.
