Franklin C. Remsburg
Franklin "Frank" C. Remsburg, 70, of Frederick, MD died on Thursday September 12, 2013 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital, Frederick.
He was the husband of 48 years of Nancy.
Born on June 21, 1943 in Poolesville, MD he was the son of the late Joseph and Myrtle (Beall) Remsburg.
Frank worked for the Washington Post for 35 years as a newspaper distributor.
Surviving besides his wife are his children, Frank Remsburg, Jr. and Virginia of Point of Rocks, MD, Larry Remsburg and Chawnee of New Windsor, MD, Charles "Chuck" Remsburg and Jaime of Smithsburg, MD, Teresa Feltner and Jason of Frederick, Barbara Butt and Daryl of Monrovia; two brothers, Edward Remsburg of Mechanicsville, MD, Fred Remsburg of Adamstown, MD; one sister, Mary Phillips of Adamstown and ten grandchildren.
Frank was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Remsburg, Sr. and one sister, Martha Remsburg. There are currently no services planned.
Michael A. Clements, Jr.
Michael A. Clements, Jr., 31, of Poolesville, MD, died on February 1, 2015. Born on February 10, 1983, in Rockville, MD, he was the son of Jo Ann Clements of Poolesville and the late Michael A. Clements, Sr. Surviving besides his mother are his two children, Nevaeh and Eviana Clements both of North Carolina; two sisters, Malissa Clements of Frederick, Regina Clements of Poolesville; one nephew, Xavier Clements and one niece, Taylor Brumbaugh. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday February 14 at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Rd. (Rt. 109), Barnesville, MD. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
Terry W. Harner
Terry Wayne Harner, 58 of Boyds, died Wednesday, February 4, 2015. Born April 27, 1956, in Frederick, he was the son of the late Charles M. Harner, Sr. and Una F. Harner.
A 1974 graduate of Poolesville High School, Terry worked as a highly skilled mechanic most of his life.
Terry is survived by two daughters, Patricia A. Harner of Boyds and Brittany I. Harner of Frederick, and was a loving and devoted Pop-Pop to Haley S. Johnson. He was also survived by six siblings: Chuck M. Harner (Hany), Kathie R. Robinson, Dinah H. Wynne (Eddie), Robin H. Roberson (Larry), Amanda K. Bodmer (Mike) and Melissa R. Harner. Terry will be remembered by many family and friends. He will also be missed by his faithful and loving dog, Teddy.
The family will receive friends at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road (Rt. 109), Barnesville on Sunday, February 8, from 1-3 and 6-8 pm, where funeral services will be conducted on Monday, February 9 at 11 am.
Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park and Menorah Gardens, Rockville, Maryland.

Frances M. Poole
Mrs. Frances (Billie) M. Poole, 84, of Poolesville, MD died on February 4, 2015.
She was the wife of the late Raymond E. Poole who died on July 20, 2011.
Born on February 26, 1930 in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Golden and Ida (Beall) Williams.
Billie and her husband owned and operated Poole's General Store in Seneca since 1965.
Surviving are her children, James E. Poole, Linda M. Willis, John W. Poole, Carolyn L. Arnold, Jo Ann Clements, Marilyn M. Poole; one sister, Roberta Chauncey; one brother, Erwin Williams; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday February 6 from 5-8 PM at the Memorial United Methodist Church, 17821 Elgin Road, Poolesville, MD, where funeral services will be held on Saturday February 7 at 11 AM.
Interment will follow in Monocacy cemetery, Beallsville, MD.

Marilyn Green
Marilyn Green, 86, formerly of Frederick, MD, died January 19, 2015. She was the wife of the late Kesley (Bart) Green. Born on December 17, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth (Mitchell) Gresham. Surviving is one daughter, Brenda Evans (Bob) and grandsons Ben and David of Ijamsville, MD; one son Bruce Breeden, grandchildren Jason and Denise and several great grandchildren of VA. One sister Mary Frances Goodwin and several nieces and nephews: Patricia and Michael Ronayne, John and Anne Goodwin and their sons Colin and Kyle, Linda and Matt Mazzuca and their daughter Samantha, all of MD. She was preceded in death by brothers Bobbie and Horace Newsom, and grandson Matthew Breeden. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to Hospice of Frederick County, PO Box 1799, Frederick, MD 21702. Services are private.
Donald N. Anderson
Mr. Donald N. Anderson passed away quietly on Friday, January 16, 2015, at the age of 79. A beloved husband and loving father, he is survived by his wife, Jean Anderson and children Erik Anderson, Don Anderson and Meaghan Anderson. He retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons in 1999 after a 45-year career. All are welcome to attend his viewing at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Rd. (Rt. 109), Barnesville, MD 20838 from 1-3 and 6-8 pm on Wednesday January 21. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 18230 Barnesville Rd., Barnesville, on Thursday January 22 at 11 am, followed immediately by interment in church ground. A reception will follow in the church hall.

Virginia R. Boyer, 94, of Gaithersburg, died on January 15, 2015 at the Wilson Health Care Center in Gaithersburg.

Thomas "Tom" H. Morgan, Sr.
Thomas "Tom" H. Morgan Sr. 78, of Germantown, MD died peacefully at Casey House in Derwood, MD on December 1, 2015.
He was born January 24, 1937, in Wilkes- Barre, PA to the Late Tucker, and Muriel (Pratt) Morgan.
He was preceded in death by a grandson James M. McCollum.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Eileen (Unger) Morgan; children, Robin Morgan of Westminster, MD, TJ Morgan of Frederick, MD, Wendy Dean of Thurmont, MD and Penny Bland of Brunswick, MD; 7 Grandchildren, William Jr, Joseph, Cory, and Kyle Bland, TJ and Morgan Choporis, and Jen Tonon and six great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on December 12, 2015 at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road (Rt. 109), Barnesville, MD. The family will be accepting friends one hour prior starting at 11 am.

George Peter Ross Korzeniewski, 19, of Boyds MD, died on November 30, 2015.
Born on August 16, 1996 in Rockville, MD, Ross was the son of George and Kathleen Korzeniewski
Surviving are 2 sisters, Emily and Anna and three brothers, Will, Ken and Brent.
Ross was preceded in death by one brother, Eric James.

Laurence "Dick" E. Magruder
Laurence "Dick" E. Magruder, 84, of Frederick, MD, died peacefully at home on December 1, 2015.
He was the husband of 57 years of Janet (Broadhurst) Magruder.
Born on January 3, 1931 in Kensington, MD, he was the son of the late Laurence C. and Evelyn (Fox) Magruder.
Surviving besides his wife are his children, Eugene K. Magruder of Mt. Airy, MD, Laurence D. Magruder of Hedgesville, WV, Michael J. Magruder of Frederick; three grandchildren, Brittany, Keith and Allison and two great grandchildren.
Dick was preceded in death by one brother, Clarence L. Magruder and one sister, Elaine E. Jones.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday December 3 at the Barnesville Baptist Church, 17917 Barnesville Rd., Barnesville, MD.

Melissa M. Lankler
On November 26, 2015, Melissa MacDonald Lankler died at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C., surrounded by her family. She was 61 years old. She was born on July 30, 1954 to Alexander and Celeste Lankler. Missy enjoyed a childhood full of riding horses and playing with her younger sister Lesley. In between weekends of foxhunting, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Art History at Washington College. She went on to wear a number of professional hats (none of which involved Art History). She took photographs for the Potomac Almanac and worked for the Georgetown Medical School. Later, she created, developed, and ran the Field of Dreams Therapeutic Riding Center for children with disabilities. Missy greatly enjoyed the time she spent as a member of the Potomac Hunt Club, the Monocacy Garden Club, and Boyds Presbyterian Church, as well as the time she spent with her beloved friends and many, many animals. There is no time she loved more than the time she spent as the mother to her daughter, Celeste. She is survived by her daughter, as well as her sister and brother-in-law, Lesley and Paul Dangerfield, and their daughter, Stratton. A private family service will be held to honor her life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
Ray T. Douglas, Sr.
Ray T. Douglas, Sr., 80, of Poolesville, died on November 25, 2015.
He was the husband of Eleanor Douglas; father of Ray Jr., and Linda; brother of Linda Mills, Richie and Arthur Douglas; grandfather of 8 and great grandfather of 7.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Kathleen.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday November 28 at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Rd. (Rt. 109), Barnesville, MD. The family will be receiving friends from 10 - 11 AM.
Interment with military honors will follow in Monocacy cemetery, Beallsville, MD.
