Rose Marie Costanzo, 58 of Seabrook, died on Saturday, August 13, 2005 at her residence.Born on October 5, 1946 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edward and Margaret Ching Moreland. She attended Capitol Heights Elementary and Central Senior High School in Capital Heights.
Survived by her husband, Peter M. Costanzo, Sr. whom she married in January 1964, children, Jo Ann Marie Akers of Chesapeake Beach, Peter Michael Costanzo, Jr. of Mechanicsville, and Joseph Charles Costanzo of Seabrook, sisters Elizabeth Myers of Harpers Ferry, WV, and Linda Wells of Huntingtown, brother, Edward Moreland of Newburg. Grandchildren, Shelby Marie Akers, Cory James Desmond, Lexy Taylor Costanzo, and Thomas Justin Akers also survive her.
She retired as a Book Binder for Delancey Printing Company in Alexandria, VA. Prior she worked for McDonald-Eudy printing in Marlow Heights. She loved bingo and coffee.
Family will receive friends, August 17, 2005 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in The Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home Chapel, Charlotte Hall, where a Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown.
Pallbearers will be; Ricky, Robbie, and Tommy Sullivan, Chris Myers, Jason and Jamel Masri.
Memorial contributions may be to; American Lung Association, 11720 Beltsville Drive, 3rd Floor, Beltsville, MD 20705.

Helen Hynson, 65
Helen Marie Hynson, 65, of Hollywood, died on August 17, 2005 at her residence.
She is survived by her husband, John C. Hynson of Hollywood, and a son, Charles Alfred Hynson of Mechanicsville.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 21, 2005 from 2; 00 p.m. until 5; 00 p.m. in the Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A. in Leonardtown. Prayers will be recited at 4; 00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 22, 2005 at 10; 00 a.m. in St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church, Hollywood. The Reverend Ray Schmidt will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Agnes Jackson, 65
Agnes Cecelia Jackson, 65, of Lexington Park, died on August 15, 2005 at her residence.
Born on February 11, 1940 in Mechanicsville, she was the daughter of Mary Cecelia Bond and the late John Henry Bond. Mrs. Jackson worked as a bus attendant.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her four sisters, Ann Chase Jenkins, Catherine Briscoe, Elizabeth Wooden all of Lexington Park, Mary Rhone of Belgium, six brothers, John Bond of Leonardtown, Joseph Thomas of Indian Head, MD, Arthur Thomas and Rodney Thomas both of Lexington Park, Raymond Thomas of Toms River, NJ and Kenneth Thomas of Jacksonville, FL. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary “Bernice” Bond and two brothers, James Bond and Francis Thomas.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 22, 2005 from 10; 30 a.m. until 12 Noon in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Lexington Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 Noon. Father Roberto will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in the Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown.

Delores Johnson, 68
Delores Naomi Johnson, 68, of Lexington Park, died on August 15, 2005 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Leonardtown, Maryland. Born on May 18, 1937 in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Jeannette Elizabeth Parker Young.
She is survived by her husband James Oliver Johnson of Loveville, three daughters, Theodora Anne Stewart, Paula Naomi Greenwell, Mary Patricia Johnson, one son, James Oliver Johnson, Jr., one brother, Joseph “Tony” Young, two sisters, Bernardette Herbert, Fedora Smith, and four grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Paul Young.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 23, 2005 from 9; 30 a.m. to 10; 30 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary, Lexington Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10; 30 a.m. with Reverend Mike Dolan. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to Knights of St. John Lady’s Auxiliary #305, Bushwood, Maryland.

Dolores Cameron, 76
Dolores Ferrall “Alec” Cameron, 76, of Indian Head, died August 12, 2005 in La Plata. Born March 6, 1929 in Leonardtown, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Newton and Maude Elizabeth Abell Ferrall.
She was preceded in death by her husband Allan Crawford Cameron whom she married in Our Lady’s Chapel on August 20, 1949.
She is survived by her sons Thomas Hugh Cameron of Indian Head, and Ian Allan Cameron of Callaway; sister Ramona Dobry of La Plata; 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Thomas N. Ferrall, Jr., Francis I. Ferrall and William S. Ferrall.
Ms. Cameron was a life long St. Mary’s County resident and graduate from Great Mills High School Class of 1946. She was employed by Thomas Johnson Junior High as a cafeteria worker for 17 years until her retirement in 1990.
Her hobbies were gardening and reading.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 17, 2005 from 5; 00 – 8; 00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 18, 2005 at 9; 15 AM in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, La Plata, with Msgr. Karl Schimiak officiating.
Interment will follow in Maryland Veteran’s cemetery, Cheltenham.

Services; A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, August 15th at 9; 30 AM with Rev. William McClean officiating. Interment will follow at 11; 00 AM in Maryland Veteran's cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
Visitation; Public visitation will be held in the Mattingly-Gardiner funeral home in Leonardtown, Maryland on Sunday, August 14th from 2 - 5 PM with prayers being said at 3; 00 PM and Disabled Veterans will be reciting prayers at 3; 10 PM.

Charlie Frank McNary
Charlie Frank McNary (Mack), 62, of Lexington Park, Maryland died on July 31, 2005 at his residence, Lexington Park, Maryland.
Born on May 6, 1943 in Millington, Tennessee, he was the son of the late William and Freddie Peete McNary. He was educated in Shelby County and attended Woodstock High in Millington, Tennessee. He began his long association with the United States Navy when he enlisted on October 7, 1961. His dedicated work with the Navy and later, DynaCorp would be marked with many awards and commendations, including Good Conduct Medals and Letters of Appreciation.
On December 23, 1974, Charlie married Barbara Ann Dyson of Lexington Park, Maryland. The couple was married for over thirty years and enjoyed a wonderful family. Charlie was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. Charlie enjoyed his family and friends as well as sports, dancing, and shooting pool.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Dyson McNary of Lexington Park, Maryland, three step sons, James Dyson, Sr. of New York, Cory Dyson, Sr., Lexington Park, Maryland, Timothy Dyson of California, two step daughters, Michelle Kelly of Lexington Park, Maryland, Lisa Dyson Duffy of Lexington Park, Maryland, one sister, Willie Hall of Millington, Tennessee, one brother J.D. McNary of Millington, Tennessee and 14 grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Herman McNary.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 4, 2005 from 9; 00 to 11; 00 a.m. at Holy Face Catholic Church, 20476 Point Lookout Road, Great Mills, Maryland 20634. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11; 00 a.m. with Reverend Joe Sileo as the celebrant. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Cory Dyson, Sr., James Dyson, Sr., Clarence Young, Bill Holt, Joseph Jordan, Harold Countiss, Wayne Dorsey and Cedric Kelly. Honorary Pallbearers will be J.D. McNary, Joe Bailey, Jackie Dyson, Johnny Hall, Jason Dyson, Wade Johnson, John Papson, and Dwayne Holt.
Memorial contributions can be made to HOSPICE of St. Mary’s, P.O. Box 625, Leonardtown, Maryland 20650.

Ercell Margaret Jones
Ercell Margaret “Perky” Jones, 76, of California, MD, died on August 5, 2005 in Medstar Georgetown Hospital, Washington, DC.
Born on December 13, 1928 in Singerley, VA, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Marian Sanders Scates. Mrs. Jones was a bookkeeper at Physicians Memorial Hospital, LaPlata, MD. She was a member of the St. Mary’s County Genealogical Society and was a collector of dolls and glass.
She is survived by her husband Irvin Knight Jones, whom she married on December 4, 1948 in Montross, VA, two sons, Brandon K. Jones and his wife Peggy of Mechanicsville, MD, Brian H. Jones of California, MD, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a sister, Rita Smallwood and two brothers, Norbert Scates and Jiles Scates.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 8, 2005 from 5; 00 p.m. until 8; 00 p.m. in the Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A., Leonardtown, MD. Prayers will be recited at 7; 00 p.m. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 9, 2005 from 7; 00 p.m. until 9; 00 p.m. in the Welch Funeral Home, 17546 Kings Highway, Montross, VA. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, August 10, 2005 in the Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church, Montross, VA at 11; 00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Andrew Chapel cemetery.

Antonia May Nicholson
Antonia May Nicholson, 60, of Dameron, Maryland died on August 6, 2005 at her residence, Dameron, Maryland. Born on May 23, 1945 in Belleplain, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Tony and Elsie May Higgs Repici.
She is survived by her husband Charles Nicholson of Dameron, Maryland, two daughters, Amy Goddard of Mechanicsville, Maryland, Christine Bechtel of Westminster, Maryland, one sister, Linda Burns of Milmay, New Jersey, one brother, Anthony Repici of Belleplain, New Jersey and one granddaughter Antonia Marie Bechtel of Westminster, Maryland.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 10, 2005 from 5; 00 to 8; 00 p.m. at the Brinsfield Funeral Home Chapel, 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, Maryland 20650. Prayers will be recited at 7; 00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2005 at 11; 00 a.m. at First Friendship United Methodist Church, Ridge, Maryland. Reverend Joe Donick will officiate. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery.

Agnes Margaret Lacey
Agnes Margaret Lacey, 75 of Charlotte Hall, Md died on August 11, 2005 at St. Mary’s Nursing Center, Leonardtown, MD.
Born on May 15, 1930 in Bryantown, Md, she was the daughter of the late James Reeder Williams and Mary Agnes Murphy Williams. She was a homemaker all her life and has resided in this area for 50 years. She attended St. Mary’s High School in Bryantown, Md. Mrs. Lacey was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Mechanicsville. Some of her enjoyments were flowers and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years Lawrence E. Lacey whom she married on April 20, 1954; siblings, Lucille Cooksey, Edith Newman, Earl Williams, grandchildren, Joseph W. Buckler Jr. and Brian J. Lacey.
Survived by daughters, Darleen Mitchell and her husband Russell of Ruther Glen, VA, Melodie R. Stokes of Charlotte Hall, Md and Jill Potts of Chaptico, Md; son Glenn L. Lacey Sr. and his wife Gail of Mechanicsville, Md; sisters, Ruth Cooksey and Louise Hill both of Hughesville, Md and Lillian Maedge of Highland, IL.; brother Herman Williams of Salisbury, Md; grandchildren, Holly Buckler, Glenn L. Lacey Jr., James E. Lacey, Natalie Potts, Rachel Potts; great-grandchildren, Brittany Buckler, Corey Buckler and James D. Mattingly.

Agnes Bernice Yates
Agnes Bernice Yates, 69, of Mechanicsville, MD, died on August 10, 2005 in the University of Maryland Hospital, Baltimore, MD.
Born on September 14, 1935 in Mechanicsville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Edna Lee Chase and John Francis Young. She was baptized and a lifelong member of St. Joseph’s Church in Morganza, MD. Bernice was educated in the St. Mary’s County Public School system. For more than 25 years, she worked at several jobs, including St. Mary’s Ryken High School preparing meals for the Xavierian Brothers. Her favorite past times were cooking, family gatherings, watching baseball, listening to music, playing bingo, going to casinos and traveling abroad with family and friends.
She is survived by five daughters, Diane of Manteo, NC, Catherine Bush and her husband Kirby of Loveville, MD, Sharon Veney of Virginia Beach, VA, Charlene of Hollywood, MD, Angela of Mechanicsville, MD, three sons, Thomas of Waldorf, Md., Joseph of Mechanicsville, Md., Michael and his wife Shirley of Mechanicsville, Md., ten grandchildren, Dionne, Thomas Jr., John Bush, Kisha Bush, Katina Jamison, Latrice (Moosie) Jackson, Umeka Yates, Cory Yates, Charlay Yates Shadana Yates, one step-grandchild, Robert, six great grandchildren, Telisha, Keith Jr., Taquan, Marissa, Ke’Sean, Sa’Tyna, two sister, Liz Somerville of Hollywood, Md., Edna Miles of Hollywood, Md. and two brothers, Randolph Young of Ft. Washington, MD and Lawrence Young of Lexington Park, Md.. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Frances Thomas and Rosalee Wigginton, a brother, Joseph Young and a granddaughter, Nakia Bush.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 13, 2005 from 9; 00 a.m. until 10; 00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Morganza, Md. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10; 00 a.m. The Reverend Keith Woods will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD.
Serving as pallbearers will be Thomas Barnes, William Holly, Jr., Edward Holt, Dominic Holt, Jr., Douglas Scriber, Joseph S. Somerville III, Darnell Young and Greg Young. Honorary pallbearers will be, Martha Brooks, Ernel Butler, Evaugh Lennon and Marion Nelson.
