Born in Washington, DC on May 14, 1920, he served as First Lieutenant in the Army during World War II, graduated Georgetown University and Georgetown Law School; then worked for the Veterans Administration for 30 years. His pride and joy and living legacy was his family: beloved wife of 67 years Hilda, four children; ten grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at Christ Church Parish, 4001 Franklin Street, Kensington, MD 20895 on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 10 a.m. Interment private.
