Tyjae D. Walker
CHESTERTOWN - Tyjae Destiny Walker died on Sunday, Oct. 17, 1999 at Kent and Queen Anne's Hospital in Chestertown.
Born on Sunday, Oct. 17, 1999, she was the infant daughter of Andre Walker and Teresa Rochester, both of Chestertown.
Miss Walker is survived by her maternal grandparents, Sheila Hoxter of Florida and James Rochester of Church Hill; her paternal grandparents, Doreen Walker of Galena, and Oscar Bordley Jr. of Townsend, Del.; her maternal great-grandmothers, Alfreda Graves of Chestertown and Eva Combs of Florida, and four aunts.
Funeral services will be held privately.
Funeral arrangements are by Fellows, Helfenbein, and Newnam Funeral Home, Chestertown.
Lucille D. Ahrens
CHESTER - Lucille Dorothy Ahrens of Chester died Thursday, Oct. 14, 1999, at the Colonial Manor home in Catonsville. She was 89.
Born May 3, 1910 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Phillip and Lucille Trussell Miller Schuler.
She was a graduate of Western High School in 1928. On July 2, 1930, she married
Gilbert Bannister of Hickory, Md. He died in October 1963. In 1965 she married
Raymond Weyrauch. He died in 1973.
She worked as a sales clerk at Hutzlers Department Store and Hochschild Kohn Department Store in Baltimore. She later worked as a clerk typist for Publicker Industries of Baltimore. She retired in 1973.
She married
Courtice Donald Ahrens, formerly of Cherry Hill, N.J., on April 14, 1979 and moved to Chester. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Stevensville.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Ahrens is survived by one son, Donald Schuler Bannister of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; two stepsons, C. Donald Ahrens of Modesto, Calif. and William Garner Ahrens of Cherry Hill, N.J.; one daughter, Phyllis Abendschoen of Catonsville; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 20, at Christ Episcopal Church in Stevensville. Burial will be private.

Anna T. Bruchmann
EASTON - Anna Talley Bruchmann of Easton, formerly of Cambridge, died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1999, at Genesis ElderCare-The Pines in Easton. She was 89.
Born July 25, 1910 in Bruceville, she was the daughter of the late Logan M. and Ida Mae Corkran Talley.
She attended public schools in Easton and at age 17 moved to Manhattan, N.Y.
Mrs. Bruchmann worked as a cashier for the Lackawana Restaurant in Hoboken, N.J. for more than 25 years.
In 1929, she married
John Oscar Bruchmann and in 1949 they moved to Hoboken. After her husband's retirement in 1968, they moved to the Eastern Shore. Mr. Bruchmann died in 1983.
Mrs. Bruchmann is survived by two sons, Ronald Ary Bruchmann of Ridgefield Park, N.J. and Robert Stephen Bruchmann of San Clemente, Calif.; one daughter, Anna May Bruchmann of Atlantic Beach, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be held 1 p.m., Friday, Oct. 22, at Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, Easton, where friends may call Thursday, Oct. 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be at Windy Hill cemetery, Trappe.

Leah P. Brummell
TRAPPE - Leah Priscilla "Sis" Brummell, a native of Trappe, died Sunday, Oct. 17, 1999, at the Memorial Hospital at Easton. She was 81.
Born July 18, 1918 in Trappe, she was the daughter of the late Sarah Emily Camper Brummell and George Washington Brummell.
She was educated in Talbot County schools and had been employed by Campbell's Soup Company, Maces Lane Middle School and by various private employers.
She had been a member of Scott's United Methodist Church in Trappe.
Her first and second husbands, Quentin Cromwell and Wilson Moss are deceased.
Mrs. Brummell is survived by four sons, Bradford Brummell and Clinton Cromwell, both of Cambridge, Robert "Bobby" Brummell of Salisbury, and Quentin Cromwell of Laurel, Del.; two sisters, Gustina Roberts of Trappe and Sarah Wilson of Cambridge; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Five brothers, Norman Brummell, Gilbert Brummell, Percy Brummell, William Brummell and Chester Brummell, are deceased.
Services will be held 1 p.m., Monday, Oct. 25, at Scott's United Methodist Church, Trappe, where friends may visit during the hour before the services. Burial will be at Paradise cemetery
in Trappe.
Friends may call at the church one our before the service.
Arrangements are by Henry Funeral Home, Cambridge.
Ivy R.P. Collins
RIDGELY - Ivy Russell Perkins Collins of Ridgely died Oct. 18, 1999, at Caroline Nursing Home, Denton. She was 88.
Born March 6, 1911 in Lewistown, Md., she was the daughter of the late George and Harriet Perkins.
Her husband, Gardner P. Collins, died May 17, 1966.
She attended schools in Talbot County. After her marriage she moved to Ridgely. She was employed by Saulsbury Brothers until her retirement.
She was a member of Replanted Zion United Methodist Church, where she served on the Usher Board.
Mrs. Collins is survived by three children, the Rev. Vernon Perkins of Laurel Springs, N.J., Hollisweus Perkins of Wilmington, Del. and Charlotte Holmes of Ridgely, Md.; a sister, Willimina V. Perkins of Wilmington, Del.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. Her son, Bernard D. Perkins died on Dec. 19, 1982. Siblings, Estella Wright, Elsie Perkins and Voss Perkins, and one grandson are also deceased.
Services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 23, at Replanted Zion United Methodist Church, Ridgely, where friends may call two hours before the service.
Burial will be at Spring Grove cemetery, Denton.

Clarence E. Johnson
EASTON - Clarence E. Johnson of Easton died Oct. 17, 1999, at Annapolis General Hospital, Annapolis. He was 88.
He was born in Norfolk, Va. on Nov. 11, 1911.
Mr. Johnson worked for the U.S. Post Office in Baltimore, J.C. Bantum's Upholstery, J.B. Dashiell Funeral Home, Eric T. Dashiell Funeral Home and Shore-Up Inc. (Headstart).
He is survived by two sons, Clarence E. Albert of Oak Park, Mich. and Keith Cook of Easton; three daughters, Helen M. Ellison and Yvonne L. Wright of Farmington Mills, Mich. and Clarice L. Green of San Jose, Calif.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 23, at Union Baptist Church, Easton, where friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m.
Arrangements are by Eric L. Dashiell Funeral Service.
Robert H. Kramer
EASTON - Robert H. Kramer, formerly of Easton, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 1999, at Talbot Hospice Foundation. He was 82.
Born May 20, 1917 on Philadelphia, Pa., he was the son of the late Stewart and Mary Erb Kramer.
His wife, Virginia Lee Jackson Kramer, is deceased.
Mr. Kramer was a 1935 of Collingswood High School in Collingswood, N.J., and earned a diploma from Drexel Institute in Philadelphia in 1940.
He had been employed for 37 years by RCA, retiring in 1977, after serving as a manufacturing manager in New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, California and Massachusetts. He had been employed in satellite development at RCA's space center in Hightstown, N.J., during the early years of the U.S. space program.
He was a member of St. Luke's Methodist Church in St. Michaels, a member and volunteer at Habitat for Humanity, a member of the Isaac Walton League, and the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum.
Mr. Kramer is survived by a daughter, Barrie Lee Summers of Pennington, N.J.; one son, Robert H. Kramer Jr. of Bristol, R.I.; a brother, William D. Kramer of South Kingstown, R.I.; and four grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 9 a.m., Friday, Oct. 22, at St. Luke's Methodist Church, St. Michaels. Burial will be at 2 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, Somerton, Pa.
Memorial donations may be made to Talbot Hospice Foundation, or to St. Luke's Church in St. Michaels.
