MAURINE E. BRANNIGAN - Ensign, USNR
On Friday, October 29, 2010 in Fort Collins, CO, formerly of Bethesda/Scientist’s Cliffs, MD. She lived a life of service to family, God, and country. Born January 18, 1921 in New York City. Married for 62 years to her beloved husband, the late Francis L. Brannigan, LCDR, USNR (Ret.). Survived by her children, Anne Veronica Brannigan-Kelly, Christopher J. Brannigan, Vincent M. Brannigan, Eileen B. Longsworth, Mary Ellen Schattman, John F. Brannigan, and their spouses. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her infant son, Michael Joseph. ANNE MARIE LEHMANN
Anne Marie Lehmann, 26, of Frederick, MD died Friday, January 21, 2011. She is the beloved daughter of Christine L. and James C. Brown, III; sister of Angela, Theresa, Victoria and Michelle; granddaughter of William B. and Mary A. Lehmann and Sharon L. and the late Donald M. Thomas. She is also survived by many other loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. DOROTHY McKINLEY HORNER (Age 95)
passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2011 of Silver Spring, MD at her home, in the care of her family. She was born on November 1, 1915, in Washington, DC. A fourth generation Washingtonian, she was the child of the late Margaret McClellan and Lowell McKinley of Georgetown. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in the District of Columbia where she was a member of Lambda Chi Sorority, and after further business studies, she managed the Western Union offices in Georgetown and at Union Station. Subsequently, she was a personnel specialist at the Federal Housing Administration and the Naval Ordnance Laboratory from which she retired. Beloved wife for 52 years of the late Andrew Annan Horner, who died in 1990; loving mother of Marcia Nilson and John Horner. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
