Six of his family members were able to attend. Many of Scot's friends shared experiences and how much of an impact he had on their lives. One comment seemed to be common with each person who spoke, "Scot was always positive, never had a bad word to say about anyone and always spoke of the great love he had for his family." One of Scot's many passions was cycling and one of the people he admired most in the sport was Lance Armstrong. Quoting the champion of the Tour de France, "I take nothing for granted. I have only good days or great days." This statement truly reflects Scot's attitude toward life. He will be deeply missed, but, will live in our hearts forever.
