FLORENCE A. VICNAIRE
PITTSFIELD - Florence A. Vicnaire, 81, passed away Friday, April 9, 2004, at a rehabilitation center in Waterville after a brief illness. She was born Aug. 18, 1922, in Parkman. Her parents were the late Joseph and Carrie McNeal. Florence married Paul Joseph Vicnaire on Dec. 17, 1938. She spent almost all of her adult life in Pittsfield. She was a former member of the Rebekah's in Pittsfield. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. Her family was very important to her and she loved taking care of her grandchildren. Florence is survived by her son, Anthony Vicnaire of Waterville; daughter, Valerie Cianchette and husband, Chris, of Pittsfield; grandchildren, Brent Vicnaire, Aron Vicnaire, Matt Cianchette, Audra Cianch-ette, and Emily Cianchette; great-grandchildren, Cameron and Brady Vicnaire; and two special cousins, Madeline Huff and Timmy Huff. She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Paul Joseph Vicnaire, in 1984. There will be no visiting hours. A graveside service will take place at a later date in the spring at Maloon Cemetery
in St. Albans. Memorial contributions may be made in Florence's name to the American Heart Association, Maine Affiliate, P.O. Box 346, Augusta, ME 04332-0346. Arrangements are under the care of Donald H. Shorey Funeral Chapel, 35 Hartland Ave., Pittsfield.
ROSEMARIE MILLS
BREWER and MERIDEN, Conn. - Rosemarie Mills, 73, wife of the late Herbert E. "Sandy" Mills, died April 8, 2004, at a Bangor hospital after a brief illness. She was born July 25, 1930, in Patten, the daughter of Frank W. and Alice M. (Greenier) Roberts. Rose was a resident of Meriden, Conn., for most of her life where she was dedicated to taking care of her husband, Sandy, for many years during his illness and she moved back to Maine in 1997. Rose enjoyed reading, sewing and gardening. Surviving are four children, Andrea Salmon of Kezar Falls, Michael Rossignol of Florida, Suzanne Rossignol of North Conway, N.H., and Kathryn DeManche and her husband, John, of Meriden, Conn.; nine grandchildren, Jennifer Adams, James Salmon, Matthew, Melissa and Marc Rossignol, Allyson and Kayla Locke, Sarah and Nicholas DeManche; one brother and one sister, William Frank Roberts and Evelyn Roberts, both of Brewer; a nephew, Mark Roberts and his wife, Madeline, of Brewer Lake; a niece, Melanie Gray and her husband, Chris, of Bangor; one cousin, Annette Roberts of Glenburn. She will be remembered by a special friend, Louise Giddings of Brewer. She was predeceased by a sister, Annie Roberts in 2000. Friends may visit 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 12, 2004, at Kiley Funeral Home, 69 State St., Brewer where a memorial service will be held at 8 p.m. Monday. Burial will be at a later date in Connecticut. Rose's family wishes to thank the loving people who helped take care of her.

MARJORIE 'MARGE' (O'BRIEN) JOHNSON - CHARLESTOWN, MASS. - Marjorie "Marge" (O'Brien) Johnson died unexpectedly June 11, 2003. Marjorie was a lifelong Charlestown resident, a retired phone company worker and a graduate of Girls High School, Boston.

EAST MILLINOCKET - Linda Alma (Fleming) Tibbitts, 62, died June 12, 2003, at a Lincoln hospital surrounded by her family. She was born in Lincoln, on Oct. 4, 1940, the daughter of the late Lindley and Hilma (York) Fleming.

BROWNVILLE - Roy J. Bragdon Jr., 77, died June 13, 2003, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born Jan 8, 1926, in Smyrna Mills, the son of Roy J. and Ella (Cassidy) Bragdon. Roy had been employed at area saw mills.

WINTERPORT - Charles B. Brantner, 78, husband of Virginia (Livingston) Brantner, died June 12, 2003, in Pittsfield. A complete obituary and funeral arrangements will be published at a later date by Foley Funeral Service.

SEBEC and KINGSPORT, Tenn. - Nancy (Green) Curtis, 61, died June 10, 2003, at a Kingsport, Tenn., hospital after a long battle with cancer. She was born July 22, 1941, in Dover-Foxcroft, the daughter of Robert and Inez (Doore) Green.

PALMYRA - Ronald Emery Curtis, 44, of Palmyra went to be with the Lord June 12, 2003, in Pittsfield, as the result of an accident. He was born July 3, 1958, in Calais, son of Keith and Grace (Allen) Curtis.

FALMOUTH - David T. Dodge, 83, formerly of Winterport and husband of the late Gertrude (Erickson) Dodge, passed away June 8, 2003, at Sedgewood Commons in Falmouth. He was born Sept. 12, 1919, in Bangor, the son of Richard and Lucy Dodge.
