HOULTON - Lois P. Holmes, 82, died Feb. 12, 2003. Graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, at the Evergreen Cemetery. There will be a gathering at the Houlton Grange Hall, Green Street, following the service.

STANLEY S. JOHNSON
MILFORD - A funeral service for Stanley S. Johnson will be conducted 4 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2003, at the Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town, with the Rev. Glenn Nichols officiating.

MADELINE V. KELLEY
GLENBURN - Madeline "Taddy" V. Kelley, 78, wife of the late Irving Kelley, went home to be with the Lord on June 7, 2003. She was born July 10, 1924, the daughter of Allie and Mabel (Randell) Lounsbury.

BOYD FREDERICK MacARTHUR
BREWER - A military graveside service for Boyd Frederick MacArthur will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, at Oak Hill Cemetery, Brewer, with the Rev. Roger Tracey officiating. A service of Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel.

ALBERTINE MADORE
VAN BUREN - Albertine Madore, 97, died June 13, 2003, at a Van Buren nursing home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in St. Agatha, May 6, 1906, the daughter of Victorie and Marie (Bouchard) Michaud.

NORMAN F. NADEAU

PALM BAY, FLA. - Norman F. Nadeau, 75, of Palm Bay, died Sunday, June 1, 2003, at Holmes Regional Medical Center, Melbourne, Fla. He was born Feb. 15, 1928, in Van Buren, and had been a resident of Palm Bay since 1992, moving there from Coventry, Conn. Mr. Nadeau was a self-employed swimming pool installer in Connecticut for 30 years prior to retirement. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving with the U.S. Army. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Palm Bay, Fla., and the American Legion of Palm Bay. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Renette Gagnon Nadeau of Palm Bay, Fla.; a son, Keith Nadeau of Coventry, Conn.; four daughters, Sabrina Nadeau of Bolton, Conn., Norma Dorsey of Coventry, Conn., Gail Platt of Manchester, Conn., and Kim McCullock of Andover, Conn.; two brothers, Robert Nadeau of Warehouse Point, Conn., and Ronald Nadeau of Coventry, Conn.; five sisters, Florence Nadeau of Bridgeport, Conn., Beatrice Pillion of Elmwood, Conn., Martha Metcalf of Somers, Conn., Sylvia Learnord of Monroe, Conn., and Gloria Doucette of Enfield, Conn., 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Memorial services will be held at a later date at St. Maurice Catholic Church in Bolton, Conn. Inurnment will be at Fountainhead Memorial Park, Palm Bay, Fla. Fountainhead Memorial Funeral Home, Palm Bay is in charge of arrangements.

HAMPDEN and CINNAMINSON, N.J. - A memorial service for Granville G. Ogilvie, 84, who passed away June 6, 2002, and Glenis A. Ogilvie, 86, who passed away April 10, 2002, will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2002.

REGINALD J. ROY
WATERVILLE - A graveside service for Reginald J. Roy will be held 11 a.m. June 18, 2003, at the St. Francis Cemetery, Grove Street, Waterville. Reginald was the husband of Annetta and the son of the late Hilary and Aurella (Guerette) Roy.

MICHAEL S. TILTON
CORINTH - Michael S. Tilton, 39, the husband of Tammie (Bryant) Tilton, died June 11, 2003, at a Bangor hospital after a long illness. He was born May 31, 1964, in Bangor, the son of Sharland and Judy (Small) Tilton.

LILLIAN ROY

FRENCHVILLE - Lillian Roy, 87, wife of the late Romeo Roy, died peacefully surrounded by family at Ridgewood Estates in Madawaska. She was born in Frenchville, March 1, 1916, the daughter of Arthur and Anna Levesque and stepfather, Jos Bouchard. Lillian was influential in the lives of many. She was a devoted wife, sister, mother and grandmother. After her mother died in 1939, Lilly kept her promise to her mother and, along with the help of her husband, Romeo, cared and provided for her brothers and sisters. She raised two sons and helped Romeo with his plumbing and heating business. Later in life, Lilly became surrounded by grandchildren, eight in all, and played the role of a grandmother perfectly. She really attached herself to her grandchildren and as a result became a role model to all of them. Lilly was a proud individual who valued family and her faith. Even during her struggle with Alzheimer's, Lilly maintained her sense of dignity, humor, and kindness. She resided at Ridgewood Estates (formerly the Wisdom House) for a little more than four years and developed meaningful relationships with the individuals who provided her with outstanding care, attention, and comfort. She is survived by two sons, L. James Roy and his wife, Jacqueline and their family, Jennifer of Yarmouth, Julie and husband, Jeffrey and their son, Andrew of Key Biscayne, Fla., Jonathan and wife, Michelle and their son, Jacob of Frenchville, and Joshua of Frenchville, Robert Roy and his wife, Louise and their family, Aimee, Katie, Christine, and Rebecca, all of St. Agatha; nine brothers and sisters and their families, Lucien Bouchard and wife, Mariette of Frenchville, Claire Martin and late husband, Gerry, of Elkhart, Ind., Bernice Boutruczsk and late husband, Charlie, of Newington, Conn., Theresa Roy and late husband, Joseph, of Waterville, Roger Bouchard and late wife, Doris of Thomaston, Conn., Irene McDonald and late husband, Eddie of Newington, Conn., Claudette McNeil and husband, Jerry of Waterville, Paul Bouchard and wife, Joan, of Manchester, N.H. and Lucille O'Donnell of Scarborough. In addition to her husband and parents, Lilly was predeceased by two sisters, Lucille Levesque and Rolande Bouchard; and one brother, Rosaire Bouchard. Friends and relatives may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday, until time of service at the Michaud Funeral Home in Frenchville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, at the St. Luce Catholic Church. Burial will be in the St. Luce Cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Ridgewood Memorial Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

EDITH M. PARSONS

DIXMONT - Edith M. Parsons, 83, went to be with the Lord June 2, 2003, at a Bangor hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born in Troy, Aug. 17, 1919, the daughter of Charles B. and Helen R. (Hale) Cook. She was educated in Troy schools. Edith married Hillard S. Parsons on Sept. 7, 1935. Her beloved Hillard predeceased her on Sept. 29, 1997, after 62 years of marriage. She worked for 17 years for Penobscot Hatchery in Unity, retiring in 1986. Edith was a homemaker and loved providing a loving and caring home for her family. She loved to camp and fish while being with her family. She was a member of the Dixmont Senior Citizens. She attended the Calvary Baptist Church in Newport. She is survived by one son and his wife, Harlen and Gerry Parsons of Burnham; two daughters and their husbands, Janet and Maber Cronkite of Etna, and Joyce and Robert Long of Etna; one brother, Raymond Cook of Troy; one sister, Ethel Wren of Thondike; 14 grandchildren; 38 great- grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Harold; a grandson, Scott; and three brothers, Leon, Robert, and Roscoe. Graveside funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, June 6, 2003, at the Dixmont Corner Cemetery with her son-in-law, Maber Cronkite and two grandsons officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Brown Funeral Home, 34 High St., Newport.

MABEL (PRINCE) LORD

HAMPDEN - A Committal service for Mabel (Prince) Lord, who died Dec. 12, 2002, will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 7, at Oak Hill Cemetery, Winterport. Arrangements by Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden.

JAMES D. JOSEPH

SKOWHEGAN - James D. Joseph, 83, died June 2, 2003, at Thayer Unit, MaineGeneral Medical Center in Waterville. He was born in Waterville, Nov. 1, 1919, the son of David and Tammie (Karem) Joseph. Mr. Joseph was a graduate of Waterville High School. During World War II, he worked in shipbuilding in Fall River, Mass. He retired as an independent pipe fitter welder. He was a lifetime member of the Waterville Lodge of Elks and a lifetime member of Local Pipe Fitter Union 783/716. He was a big fan of Al Corey and the Sounds of the big bands. He was an avid gardener, fisherman and loved horse races and Notre Dame football. He is survived by his companion of 19 years, Virene De Beck of Skowhegan; sons and their wives, Robert J. and Early Joseph of Helson, British Columbia, Ronald A. Joseph of Orono and Donald A. and Teddi-Jann Joseph of Orono; a daughter and her husband, Gale and Brian LaPlante of Waterville; sisters and brothers, Lena Fotter of Waterville, Julia Campion of Oakland, Josie Lasley of Virginia, Selma Thompson of Illinois, Marianne Perry of Florida, Madeline Joseph of Waterville, Celia John of West Virginia, John D. Joseph of Waterville, George Anthony "Tony" Joseph of Waterville and Philip Joseph of Florida; 18 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Alice Yeaton Joseph, who died in 1982. A graveside committal service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 6, at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Grove Street, Waterville, with the Rev. Mr. Peter Joseph, deacon, officiating. Donations in his memory may be made to MaineGeneral Medical Center, 3 North Nursing Unit, Office of Philanthropy, 30 Chase Ave., Waterville, ME 04901. Arrangements are with Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville.

IRENE T. INGERSON

EAST MILLINOCKET - Irene T. Ingerson, 90, passed away peacefully at a Millinocket hospital on June 3, 2003. She was born in Princeton, Nov. 2, 1912, the daughter of Isaac and Elmira (Chadbourne) Tupper. She was the wife of the late Irving B. Ingerson. Mrs. Ingerson was valedictorian of her class at Princeton High School and also graduated from Eastern State Normal School in Castine. Mrs. Ingerson began her professional career teaching in a one-room schoolhouse in Mariaville and later taught school in Gardiner. She taught school a total of 26 years. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Larry Jones of East Hampton, Conn.; one son and daughter-in-law, Bradford and Cynthia Ingerson of Millinocket; one sister, Virginia Clark of Bangor; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by a granddaughter, Rachel Jones. Graveside services will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Brewer at 1 p.m. June 14, 2003, with the Rev. Norman Rust officiating. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Manna Ministries, 180 Center St., Bangor, ME 04401. Arrangements are by R. L. Bouchard Funeral Home, Millinocket.
