Andrea R. (Cilley) Murphy
BROOKLINE, Mass. -- Andrea R. (Cilley) Murphy, 51, of Brookline, formerly of Weymouth, died unexpectedly Thursday, Jan. 18, 2007, after being stricken at her home in Brookline.
She was a homemaker devoted to her family. She had a talent for music and a humorous bent. She could play trumpet and piano at the same time. She was also a gifted photographer with a remarkable ability to capture a moment very aptly.
She spent several years in New York City working in the field of public relations, where she met a colorful cast of characters and celebrities.
She leaves a daughter, Aila Murphy, and a son, Carson Murphy, both of Weymouth Heights; three brothers, Charles D. Cilley Jr. of Dover, N.H., David A. Cilley of Wells, Maine, and Timothy E. Cilley of South Berwick, Maine; a close friend, Ed Gilbert of Lexington; two nephews and a niece; and her loving dog, Maya.
She was predeceased by her father Charles D. Cilley.
She was a dedicated environmentalist and a lover of animals, especially dogs.
Angelina H. LeBreux
YORK BEACH, Maine -- Angelina H. LeBreux, 85, a longtime resident of York Beach, died Monday, Jan. 15, 2007.
She was born in Saugus, Mass., and was a winter resident of Northport, Fla. She moved to York Beach, Maine, in 1969 from Lynn, Mass.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Paul LeBreux; sons, John F. DiGiacomo Jr. of Cape Neddick, Maine, Victor DiGrigorio of Sanford, Maine, and Mario Maji of Venice, Fla.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Sarah Jane Kizakevich
Kizakevich -- Sarah Jane, 58, of Durham, N.C., died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007. A memorial service was held in Chapel Hill. Donations may be made to Duke Children's Hospital, 512 S. Magnumn St. #400, Durham, N.C. 27701.
Christian -- Francis J., 87, of 6 Eureka Avenue, died Friday, Feb. 2, 2007. A funeral Mass was held Monday, Feb. 5, at St. Christopher's Church, 4 Barrell Lane, York. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington VA.

Francis J. Christian
York, Maine "" Francis J. Christian, 87, of 6 Eureka Ave., died Friday, Feb. 2, 2007 in the Dover Rehabilitation & Living Center. He was born in East Walpole, Mass., on March 10, 1919, son of Joseph and Anna (Boldon) Christian and had lived in Millis, Mass., for many years. He served in the Air Force for 21 years before retiring as a technical sergeant in 1968. He later worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Portsmouth, N.H.
Mr. Christian was a world traveler. His travels took him to every country in the world except Australia and India. He met his wife, Lee, in Istanbul, Turkey, and they married in Germany in 1963. Together they traveled across Europe in a Volkswagen Beetle. In 1966, their son Joseph was born in Africa and soon after the family moved to York, Maine. Mr. Christian and his wife spent the remaining 40 years of their marriage in York.
He was a member of St. Christopher's Church, the Knights of Columbus, the American Legion Post 6, the VFW, the DAV, and the Air Force Sergeants Association.
He leaves his wife of 44 years, Lee (Lefter) Christian ; a son, Joseph J. Christian and his fiancé, Darcy DiGiulio of Manchester by the Sea, Mass. He was predeceased by two brothers, William Christian and Tony Curpis.
Sarah Jane Kizakevich
DURHAM, N.C. -- Sarah Jane Kizakevich, 58, of Durham, formerly of York, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007, at Duke University Hospital. Known to her family and friends as "Sally," she is remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was born May 8, 1948, in Lynn, Mass., to the late Lawrence and Ruth Kenney, and raised in York Beach. She moved to California, then Florida, where she married Paul N. Kizakevich. She moved with her husband to North Carolina in 1978.
She is survived by her husband; daughter Rebecca K. Granger and husband, Art, of Durham; son Paul L. Kizakevich and wife, Betsy, of Raleigh; two sisters Nancy Robinson of California and Barbara Parrish of Nevada; and two grandchildren.

Cooper -- Elizabeth S. Cooper, 98, formerly of Angel Avenue, died Sunday, March 4, 2007, in Sentry Hill. A graveside service for Mrs. Cooper will be held in the spring in the First Parish Cemetery. There are no calling hours.

The Rev. William T. Keech
YORK -- The Rev. William T. Keech, 81 of 7 Tarton Road, died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2007, at home with his family by his side.
He was born June 3, 1925, in Rochester, N.Y., son of Finley and Elizabeth (Peifer) Keech.
He was a graduate of Brown University in Providence, R.I., and Andover-Newton Theological School in Newton, Mass. He served 40 years in church, ecumenical and civic organizations in West Acton, Greenfield and Wakefield, Mass., before retiring in 1990. He was involved in Church Camp & Conferencing for many years. From 1975 to 1990 he served on the Massachusetts Commission on Christian Unity. For many years, together with his wife, they were a host family for international students. He had a longtime interest in photography and had developed many multi-media presentations.
He was a member of the Old York Historical Society. He volunteered in the York school system and was active in the Middle Street Baptist Church in Portsmouth, N.H.
He leaves his wife of 57 years, Joan (Lyell) Keech; three daughters, Cynthia L. Keech of Moody, Texas, Ruth E. Gorton and her husband, Larry Gorton, of South Portland, and Shirley A. Keech and her partner, Mary King, of Northfield, Mass.; a brother, Herbert R. Keech of Fall River, Mass. His twin brother, Finley Keech, and his step-mother, Mary Keech, predeceased him.
Elizabeth S. Cooper
YORK HARBOR -- Elizabeth S. Cooper, 98, formerly of Angel Avenue, died Sunday, March 4, 2007, in Sentry Hill.
She was born May 23, 1908, in York, daughter of Clarence and Sarah (Kimball) Smith and had graduated from York High School Class of 1927.
She was a member of the First Parish Congregational Church of York. She was a life member of Fadett Chapter 166 Order of the Eastern Star, in York, and the Sarah Orne Jewett Chapter 176 in South Berwick. She also was a member of the York Senior Center.
She is survived by a son, George W. Cooper and his wife, Peggy, of York; two daughters, Eleanor M. Apgar of York and Mary F. Peters of Deerfield Beach, Fla.; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Waldo R. Cooper, who died in 1997, and a grandson, John Todd Cooper, who died in 1996. She also was predeceased by two brothers, Clifford and Roger Smith, and two sisters, Fanny Parsons and Helen Bilodeau-Spinney.
Katherine V. (MacDonald) Dalli
YORK BEACH -- Katherine V. (MacDonald) Dalli, 81, of 90 Rogers Road, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007, in York Hospital.
She was born Aug. 30, 1925, in Lowell, Mass., and had worked for the Educator Biscuit Company Inc., for many years. She also had worked at the Anchorage Inn.
She was a former den mother for the Cub Scouts and volunteered at the Food Pantry. She enjoyed the ocean, swimming, animals, yard sales and second-hand stores.
She leaves a son, Richard M. Dalli of York Beach; two sisters, Rita MacDonald and Annie Mae Davis, both of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Michael P. Dalli, four brothers and two sisters predeceased her.
George F. Matthews
CUMBERLAND -- George F. Matthews, 78, died peacefully on Monday, March 5, 2007, with his devoted family at his side.
He was born in York Beach, Maine, on June 26, 1928, the second son of Frank Moses and Viola Chase Matthews. He graduated from York High School in 1945 and began a long career in the insurance industry.
He started as a mapping clerk for the Granite State Insurance Co., in Portsmouth, N.H., and, after several years on the road as a company field representative, rose to the position of assistant manager of the Portland office of The New Hampshire Insurance Co.
Retiring after 25 years from the New Hampshire, he joined Morse, Payson & Noyes as personal lines manager. He then joined Northern MGA in Waterville, retiring in 1993. He was a well-respected businessman of high integrity, and enjoyed many continued business friendships well after retirement.
Mr. Matthews had a passion for sport cars; it was rare for him not to have a convertible in the garage for summer drives. This was followed closely by his enthusiasm for sports. He followed the Red Sox, Bruins, Patriots and Giants "just like he was there playing the game."
In 1988, he married Marilyn J. (Gillam) Matthews, and moved to Cumberland, where they began restoring the original "Farwell" property. He meticulously redesigned and cared for his home and property, and took pride in its appearance. Their "blended" family enjoyed many gatherings there.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Marilyn J. Matthews of Cumberland; two daughters, Lynn K. Caldwell and husband, Mark, of Farmington, and Susan J. Copp and husband, Clayton III, of Cumberland; a stepson, Eliot "Mitch" Sanborn, and wife, Trina, of Bridgton; seven grandchildren, Jenny, Meghan and Peter Caldwell, MaKenzie and Camryn Copp, and Evan and Ethan Sanborn; three brothers, Donald and wife, Betty, John and wife, Ginny, Russell and wife, Barbara; and two sisters, Joyce (Mrs. Myron) Thayer, and Marilyn Soule and husband, Dean, all of York Beach.
Francis G. Rovnak Sr.
YORK -- Francis G. Rovnak Sr., 82, of 66 Beech Ridge Road, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007, in York Hospital. He was born Jan. 31, 1925, in Lisbon Falls, son of Paul and Mary (Margitan) Rovnak. He graduated from the University of Maine at Orono, and had worked as a structural engineer at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard before retiring in 1980.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Cape Neddick Country Club and St. Christopher's Church. He was an avid University of New Hampshire hockey fan and enjoyed skiing.
His wife of 31 years, Priscilla (Dugas) Rovnak, predeceased him. He leaves five sons, Francis "Butch" G. Rovnak Jr., of York, Michael J. Rovnak of York, Stephen M. Rovnak and his wife, Beverly, of Acton, Matthew P. Rovnak and his wife, Nancy, of South Berwick and Daniel J. Rovnak of Wisconsin Dells, Wis.; a daughter, Amanda M. Dyer of Bar Harbor; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
