GENDRON JERRY Mr. Jerry R. Gendron, aged 72, of Kentwood, formally of Detroit went to be with his Lord on Friday, July 28, 2000. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Vivian, his sons Gregory Gendron and Jeffrey and Jenna Gendron. Granddaughter Maiah Gendron, sister-in-law Annabelle Gendron, brothers-in law and sisters-in-law Therese and Ron Mayville, Jean and Sandy Comeau, Yvonne Johnson, and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Gendron was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, 11AM at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, with Father Louis Stasker as celebrant. Interment Resurrection cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday and Monday 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM with a Rosary Monday at 7 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Paul the Apostle Education Foundation. HUME, MARGUERITE LOUISE (nee Purvis) age 99, died July 24, 2000 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mrs. Hume was born in Detroit on January 6, 1901 and lived in that area most of her life. She and her late husband, Edward C. Hume, Sr., retired to Marine City, MI and later St. Clair, MI. In 1983, she moved to Palatine, IL to be near her only son, Edward C. Hume, Jr. and his wife Ann; and when they retired, came with them to Albuquerque. Mrs. Hume lived for three years at Las Colinas Retirement Home and for the past two years was a resident at Sunbridge Mission Manor. In addition to her son and daughter in law, she is survived by her grandchildren, Diane Hume of San Francisco; Richard Hume of Livermore, CA and his wife Jean; Edward C. Hume, III and his wife Judy of Austin, TX; and three great grandchildren, Edward C. Hume IV, John Botsford Hume and MacKenzie Elizabeth Hume. During Mrs. Hume's lifetime, although she was primarily a homemaker, she served as treasurer for the Michigan Crippled Children's League for many years, was reknowned for her skills at needlework and in her later years won many awards for her art work. Interment at Forest Lawn cemetery, Detroit, MI.

IKERMAN, CHARLES E., July 27, 2000. Beloved husband of Janet (nee Clemett). Dear father of Karl (Jeanne) Ikerman. Grandfather of four, great grandfather of four.
