KINTZ, STEPHENIE PILAR Of Lansing, Born July 29, 1975 in Flint; died Wednesday, August 2, 2000 at the age of 25. Stephenie graduated from Lansing Catholic Central in 1993. She received her B.A. in History from Aquinas College, Grand Rapids in 1999. Was employed with VISTA, AmeriCorps and Points of Light, as the Volunteer Coordinator for the Literacy Program. She was also employed with Jacobson's throughout college where she was loved by the entire staff. While attending college, she was interested in theater and performing on stage. Stephenie recently was the Production Asst. for the Riverwalk Theater. She had a rich sense of humor, was a wonderful, caring friend, loved hot, spicy foods, scary movies and animals. She attended CF Camp Onkoi Benek for 12 years as both a camper and an adult staffer. It was here that she met many life long friends. Stephenie was preceded in death by her father, Stephen A. Kintz; her sister, Roxanne Franklin; brother, Marcus J. Kintz; grandparents, Saranne and Roy E. West and aunt, Carol A. Clark. Surviving are her mother, Rosita Kintz; two brothers, Alan Franklin (Lori Fortino-Franklin) and Lawrence Franklin; grandparents, Rita and James Kintz of Flint, two nieces, Sophia Franklin of Lansing and Roxanne Franklin of Los Angeles; one nephew, Jason Franklin of Lansing; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends, Sydni Dreher of Washington, D.C., Erin Davis, Marvin Ellington of New York, Deb Ajini of Warren, Felicia Buchanan of Grand Rapids, Megan O'Neil of Scotland, Dr. Isabel Holland Davis of Bloomfield Hills and her beloved dog, Zoey.
