CYPRUS, JOSEPH, Age 81. July 31, 1998. Loving husband of Emma. A brave soldier in WWII was called home after a brief, courageous fight with cancer, leaving many relatives and friends who will miss Joe.

DROHAN, FRANCIS J., Age 67. Beloved husband of Virginia Daly-Drohan; loving father of Terrance (Joann), Robert (Vicki), Christine (Craig), Shawn, and Holly; grandfather of David, Chad, Ciera, Paul, Alec and Dillon; dear brother of James (Mary) and William (Dorothy). Mr. Drohan was a former member of the Naval Air Core, and an avid history buff. In 1980 he published his first book "Jesus Who?" and currently has a book submitted for publication, "Beautiful One". A memorial service will be held on Thursday 11 a.m. at Roseland Park cemetery in the historic Rose Chapel, (3401 Woodward), Berkley. Arrangements made by Resurrection Funeral Home, (810) 412-3000.

DRULARD, ELIZABETH J. "nee SIMPSON" Age 79. August 3, 1998. Beloved wife of the late Rex Drulard. Dear mother of Linda B. Croteau, Judith A. (Gary) Grant and Brian E. Grandmother of Thomas J. Croteau, Kurt R. Croteau, Kristen M. (Jon) Glenn, Sandra L. (James) Starkey. Great grandmother of Jasmin E. Glenn. Beloved sister of the late Bessie Riley and Florence Saarinen. Elizabeth was born in Dundee, Scotland and arrived in the U.S. aboard the H.M.S. Athenia in 1924, resided in the Detroit Metro area until her death. Rex and Beth were married 60 years. Private memorial services were held by the family.

Father of Scott Dunlap, Danine (Warren) Genthery, Michael Dunlap, Alicia (Mark) Rivard, James Schade, Dawn (Steve) Steiner. Grandfather of one. Brother of Danine Cravner. EVERETT, ROBERT L. "BOB" Age 70. Formerly of Rochester Hills and a resident of Honor, Michigan since 1990. He passed away at his home in Honor, Michigan on July 30. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife Dottie; his daughters Susan Hood of West Bloomfield and Lauren (Don) Finn of Rochester Hills; his grandchildren Andy and Bobby Finn; and his brother Frank of Wallingford, Pennsylvania. Memorial donations may be made to the Munson Medical Center Hospice Fund or to the Interlochen Center for the Arts. Local arrangements were handled by the Bennett- Jonkhoff Funeral Home of Beulah, Michigan.

FLYNN, JAMES H., 80 of Harbor Springs. Died July 16, of Pulmonary Fibrosis. He was born in Detroit, lived in Highland Park, later moved to Lansing. Graduated from Michigan State College of Engineering, was a Captain in the Army Air Force during WWII, later became associated with Chrysler Corp, Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in Fla. and Garrett Airesearch, Phoenix Az. He was a consultant for Williams International, Birmingham. Survivors are wife; Bette Corlett Flynn, daughters; Alison Flynn Ringdal and Kathleen B. Flynn, Son; Michael J. Flynn. Also several grandchildren. Donations may be made to the American Lung Association.

HECHINGER, KENNETH PETER of Waterford, August 3, 1998, age 67. Beloved husband of Virginia L. Hechinger; father of Jamie L. Cleyman; brother of the late Joe (Jean) Hechinger. Mr. Hechinger owned and operated Dueweke-Hechinger Electric Company for many years. He was a member of I.B.E.W. Local #58 and was a veteran of the U.S. Army in Korea. Visitation Wednesday 1-5 and 6-9 at the family home, 5075 Timber Way Tr., Clarkston. Vigil for the deceased will be celebrated there Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. In state Thursday 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lakes Church, Waterford, until the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Memorials may be made to the family. Loving wife of the late John; dear mother of Marlene (Robert) Bridges and David (Anita) Jansen; survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral mass Friday, August 7, 1998, 10:30 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Rochester.
