NICHOLSON, DONALD R., 66, of Patterson Lake, MI. Died July 23, 1998 at his SC home, after a courageous 2-year battle with pancreatic cancer. His wife of 40 years and two daughters, Marie and Colleen were at his side. Mr. Nicholson, a native of Detroit, was a Navy Korean War Veteran and a History & Economics Teacher in Michigan for 30 years. He was a former Police and Fire Commissioner for Livonia, MI. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Jeanne, two sons, Kevin and Kennan Nicholson, both of MI, four daughters, Marie Nicholson and Colleen Ragan, both of Atlanta, GA, Patty & Jennifer Nicholson, both of MI and four grandchildren, Nichole, Joshua Donald, Cristen and Shaina Marie. The family said his second love was fishing and his first was his wife Patty. Memorial Services will be at 10 a.m. Sat., Aug. 15 at St. Colette Church, 17600 Newburgh Rd., Livonia, MI. Luncheon to follow.

OUELLETTE, FREDERICK T. of Waterford; August 3, 1998; Age 87. Husband of Alexa T.; Father of Frederick C. Ouellette (Hilde), Suzanne M. Paquette, William J. Ouellette (Pamela), Dennis A. Ouellette (Patricia) and Jane H. Fouchey (Tyrus); Grandfather of 12 and great grandfather of six; Brother of Mary Ouellette, I.H.M., Joseph Ouellette (Rosemary) and the late Helen Kohls (William). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Ouellette was employed by Detroit Bank and Trust for 42 years retiring as a bank supervisor. He and Mrs. Ouellette were former members of St. Mary's Parish, Port Sanilac for 18 years. The family will receive friends at Donelson, Johns and Evans Funeral Home, 5391 Highland Rd., Waterford, MI.
