WALKER, JOHN PAUL, 60 years, of Dearborn, MI, passed away peacefully Friday, August 3, 2001 at the Northwest Ohio Hospice Center, Perrysburg. He was born April 26, 1941 in Toledo to Francis and Ida (Rollins) Walker. He was a 1959 graduate of Central Catholic High School and received a BS in History from John Carroll University in 1963. John Paul was a member of the United States Marine Corps Reserve. Known at work as J.P., he retired in February, 1998 after 32 years from the Ford Motor Company, Dearborn, MI where he was a parts and materials analyst. John Paul had wide ranging interests and loved to travel, having visited many countries around the world through the years. He loved to read and was very up-to-date on all areas of the automotive industry. He was involved and volunteered many hours as an usher and reader at Sacred Heart Church in Dearborn. He was also a member of the Catholic Alumni Club in Dearborn. John Paul was also a generous and active alumnus of John Carroll University. Surviving is his mother, Ida Walker, brother Jerome "Jerry" and his wife Connie Walker of Toledo, sisters Mary (Darl) Komorny of Monroe, MI and Patricia (Norman) Soldwish of Bowling Green, OH. The nieces and nephews are Jeffrey and Christopher Walker, Ann and Cathryn "Kit" Komorny, and Neal Soldwish. Friends may call at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd., Toledo, OH, on Sunday, August 5, 2001 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. where scripture service will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Friends and family will gather for the Funeral Mass of Christian Burial in St. John the Baptist Church on Monday, August 6, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Calvary cemetery. Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Northwest Ohio Hospice Association, The Tuition Fund of Sacred Heart Church in Dearborn, or John Carroll University in Cleveland. WILLSON, ROBERT F., Age 90. August 2, 2001. Beloved husband of Viola. Loving father of Robert (Patricia), Mary Jane (Larry) Thiede and Joseph (Amy). Dear grandfather of Robert, David, Robert, Rebecca and Geoffrey. Dear brother of June (Robert) Moran. He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Michigan State University in 1936. He practiced in Marine City, MI for 2 years before coming to Detroit, where he accepted a position in the Health Dept. He was a food inspector and Chief Veterinarian of the Dog Pound for several years. He served as Director of the Food Sanitation Bureau of the Health Dept. He retired in 1966 but returned 2 years later to serve as Director of The Detroit Zoo. He held the position for 5 years before retiring to his home in Livonia. He was the first veterinarian to serve as Secretary to the Board of Health, and in 1963 he was named Veterinarian of the Year by the Michigan Veterinary Association. Arrangements by Harry J. WILSON, PEGGY, August 2, 2001, age 72. Beloved wife of Thomas Blaine Wilson. Loving mother of Stanley Wilson (Joan) and Tanya Dixon (Dale). BOGUCKI, HENRY, Age 87 of Hope. Died Thursday, August 6, 1998 at MidMichigan Gladwin Pines. He was born on January 19, 1911 in Neffs, Ohio, son of the late Alexander and Opal Bogucki. He attended schools in Ohio. Henry married the former Clementine Klonowski on October 27, 1934 in Detroit. He had worked for Chrysler in Detroit for over 40 years, retiring in 1968. He enjoyed fishing and boating and splitting wood for the winter. He is survived by his wife Clementine; son Henry (Carol) Bogucki of Orlando, Fla.; daughters Tina (James) Berger of Warren, Marge (Andy) Kobisa of Hope, Joan Ferrette of Edgewater, Florida; brother Joe Bogucki of Hope; sisters Stella Faur of Colton, Calif. and Julie Stockley of Dearborn; 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother Bruno and his sister Alice. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, August 10, 1998 from the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Chapel, 1200 West Wheeler Street. Rev. James V. Hibbard of Jefferson Avenue Church of God will officiate with burial in New Hope cemetery. Henry's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 6-8 p.m., on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and on Monday from 9 a.m. until time of service.
