BECHARD, MICHAEL JOSEPH, SR. Age 49. passed away at home in Farmington, Missouri on August 13, 1998. He was preceded in death by one sister Pauline. Michael is survived by his parents, Louis and Marguerite (Dufault) Bechard of Rochester Hills, Michigan; by his beloved wife Sharon (Hicks) Bechard; by his beloved children Michael Bechard, Jr., and Lisa (Mrs. Ken) Nash; and by two beloved granddaughters Cindy and Kristen Nash, all residents of Farmington, Missouri. He is survived by two sisters Anita (Mrs. Ray) Khan of Rochester Hills, MI and Sister Yvonne Bechard, SSJ of Eastpointe, MI and many nieces, nephews and friends. Michael was a self-employed businessman with Midwest Abrasives. Michael may be viewed at the Cozean Funeral Home, in Farmington, Missouri on August 16, 1998; he will be buried from St. Joseph Catholic Church in Farmington, Missouri on August 17, 1998.

BRENNER, SAM, Age 78. passed away August 16, 1998 at Sinai Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Mary Brenner; loving father of Carol Anne Brenner, Susan (Bill) Lyons and Robert (Joyce) Brenner. His grandchildren Rebecca Brenner, Curtis, Willy and Samantha Lyons also survive him; one brother and three sisters also survive him; three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. A Memorial Gathering will be held Tuesday, August 18 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with a Masonic Service at 7 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of South Lyon. COTTER, FRANK J., Age 83. Of Litchfield, formerly of Dearborn. passed away Sunday, Aug. 16, 1998 at the Angela Hospice Center in Livonia. He retired from Tappan Construction Co. in Detroit. He was born in Detroit on September 24, 1914 to Timothy and Catherine (McDonough) Cotter. He graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Dearborn, and was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Hillsdale. On July 3, 1954 he married the former Eleanor Detmer and she preceded him in 1989. Surviving are two daughters Katherine Cotter and Susan Lane of Plymouth; one son John F. and Barbara Cotter of Dearborn; four stepsons Harvey and Mary Poikey of Camden, Roger and Judy Poikey of Lake Belaire, Donald and Jenzie Poikey of St. Louis, MO and Gary of CA; one sister Kathleen Cotter of Dearborn and a brother Kenneth of Dearborn; two grandsons John P. Cotter of Lincoln Park and Geoffrey of Dearborn; and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the St. Anthony Catholic Church, officiated by Father Frank Williams. Interment will be in the St. Anthony cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3-8 p.m. at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to Capuchin Monastery in Detroit or Hospice of Wayne County.
