Army Veteran. Surviving are his wife, Kathleen Wilson of the home; one son, Andrew Wilson of Michigan; one daughter, Kristen Hackney of Greer; one brother, Robert Wilson of New Jersey; one sister, Patsy Wilson of Michigan; four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 4-6PM Wednesday at The Wood Mortuary. The Family is at the home. She taught 2 yrs. at Shrine of the Little Flower, Royal Oak and 16 yrs. at St. Luke Grade School in Detroit. Golden wedding anniversary celebrated in 1977. Member St. Luke Altar Sodality and treasurer of Catholic Daughters of America. Member of Dearborn Heights Senior Citizens for 20 yrs. Visitation Sunday 2-9 pm at John N. CONNOR, SCOTT M. DR. 51, formerly of Orchard Lake, MI., died on August 13. He was born November 10, 1946 in Detroit, MI. . Most recently a resident of Scottsdale, Arizona, Scott was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend who embraced life with a passion and was guided by a strong faith in God. He is survived by his wife, Therese; his children, Colleen Connor of Gilbert, AZ., Captain Christopher Connor of Fort Walton Beach, FL. and Patty and Sean Pifer of Scottsdale, AZ., mother Eileen Ann Connor of Scottsdale, AZ; sister Susan Ann Connor of Santa Monica, CA. ; brothers William A., Connor of East Lansing, MI. and Dr. David Connor of Scottsdale, AZ. Dr. Connor, an accomplished scholar and clinical psychologist, was a 1964 graduate of Catholic Central High School in Detroit. He received his BA from Wayne State University; MA and MBA from Michigan State University, and earned his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Central Michigan University. Following a clinical fellowship at the University of Nebraska, he moved to Scottsdale, AZ. in 1985 and established a private practice in clinical psychology in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Over the last decade, Dr. Connor was associated with Phoenix Memorial Hospital and Desert Vista Hospital in Mesa, AZ. Scott, also was General Manager in the mid 70's for the family business, Connor's Family Restaurant, locate4d in MI. In addition to his devotion to healing people, Scott was a keen athlete who excelled in baseball, water sports and tennis. He possessed a warmth for nature and was happiest when surrounded by family and friends in the beauty of the outdoor environment created at his home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: John Wayne Cancer Institute, 1328 22nd. Street, Santa Monica, CA. 90404. Services were held at St. Patrick's Church, Scottsdale, AZ.

COWAN, NONDYS YVONNE Beloved wife of Calvin Clifford Cowan, Sterling Heights died Thursday, August 20, 1998 of complications resulting from scleroderma. She was 69. Mrs. Cowan is the daughter of the late C. G. Baker and Florence I. Baker of Jackson, MI. She is survived by her son Criston (Philomena) Cowan of Brown Deer, Wisconsin; daughters Terri (Bill) Kimble of Clinton TWP, MI, Carol (Jay) Magreta of Fraser, MI. Loving grandmother of Adrienne, Katie, Kristen and Sean. Her brother, Eugene Baker, preceded her in death. No funeral services are planned.

FENTON, EDWIN H., M. D. 91. Bradenton, Florida. Formerly of Algonac, died August 7, 1998. Born in Richmond, MI, his family later moved to Ann Arbor where he completed pre-medicine at the University of Michigan. His medical degree was earned at Hahnemann Medical College in PA followed by internship at Grace Hospital in Detroit. He was a family physician, and on the staff of both Grace and Mt. Carmel Hospitals in northwest Detroit for 30 years. From 1964 to 1969 he had an optometry practice in Algonac. Dr. Fenton established an enviable record of service to organized medicine. He was president of Wayne County Medical Society, chairman of the Board of Directors of Michigan Blue Shield and director of public relations of the Wayne County Academy of General Practice. He also served on both state and national committees of the American Academy of General Practice. As an active member of the community, he served as president of Strathmoor Kiwanis in Detroit and later as a member of Algonac Rotary. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn, two daughters Colette Witherspoon of Fort Gratiot and Sue Robert of Grand Rapids, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
