MOURRAY, JACK, August 23, 1999. Beloved husband of 48 years to Darlene. Loving father to their five children: David, Deborah, Cheryl, Mark, and Joseph. Devoted grandfather to 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Faithful companion to his Jack Russell Terrier, Rusty. Jack Mourray was a Product Development Engineer for 45 years at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI. He was responsible for the development of various suspension components for which he received numerous patents and awards throughout his tenure with the company. He was fondly thought of by his coworkers as a stable, steady, intelligent person who solved problems. He was a pleasure to have on all the trips or in the lab developing new ways to make cars ride better. His knowledge of shock absorbers, and how to develop them was "unparralled in the automotive business. " Most of all he will be missed as a kind and loving gentlemen, and a valued friend to all those who have had the privilege of knowing him. His quiet, humorous presence made the ride gentler for his coworkers, friends and family. His other passions included caring for his family, traveling, hunting, fishing, Morel mushrooming, golfing and lake living on Lake Angelus. Funeral service will be Saturday, August 28, 1999, 1 p. m. at Coats Funeral Home, Waterford. The family will receive friends Thursday 3-5 & 7-9 p. m. Memorial donations may be made to Henry Ford Hospice or the National Brain Tumor Foundation, envelopes available at the funeral home

She was a resident for South Lyon for 25 years and was a member of the Washtenaw County Farm Bureau. She was the loving mother of Bruce (Bunny) Ratcliff, Craig (Coreen) Ratcliff, and Keith (Barbara) Ratcliff. Eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren survive her.
