FRIEDRICH, JOHN F., Age 83. passed away on Sunday, August 23. Beloved husband of the late Juanita. Special companion to Margaret (Peggy) Frame. Loving father of Frank (Karen), Jim (Karen), Ethel Bakke, and Jack (the late Linda). Dear grandfather of Rachel (Chris), Nick, Marv, Kalee, Rebecca, and John. Great-Grandfather of Kaitlyn and Shayla. Mr. Friedrich owned his own construction company, was a real estate appraiser. He was a musician who played the violin, organ and the clarinet, and was a member of the local banjo club. He played his music at numerous local clubs and charities. Mr. Friedrich was a long time resident of Harper Woods. He was a East Detroit FOE member, and a member of the Dads of Foreign service veterans. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the covenant House of Michigan (4151 Seminole, Detroit, MI 48214), or to the charity of your choice.
