Mr. White graduated from Mackenzie High School then received a track scholarship to Wayne State University where he received a B.S. in Business. He was a member of the Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity. He served in the Army from 1953 to 1955. He retired from General Electric Supply where he was a Regional Operations Manager. Interests included sports, reading and grandparenting. Services were held on Aug. 13, 1999 at the Barranco & Sons Funeral Home, Severna Park, MD. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Disease Association.

DE COOPMAN, TOM SR., Age 57, a retired police officer died peacefully Monday August 10, 1998, in Bedford, TX, at home after fighting a courageous battle. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 29th. 10:30 a.m. at Resurrection cemetery, Clinton Twp. at Parents Gravesite Lot 608, Sec. 16. Luncheon to follow at Fern Hill Country Club. Memorials to Eastpointe Goodfellows, 16370 9 Mile Rd., Eastpointe, MI 78021. Tom De Coopman Sr. was born February 20, 1941, in Ontario, Canada, to Achiel and Alice De Coopman. He spent 40 years in the Detroit, MI area and served as a Police Officer, City Councilman, Mayor Pro Tem and Acting Mayor of Eastpointe, MI, until 1981 when he retired from the Police Department and he and his family moved to Texas. He was in the process of opening a private investigative service. Tom graduated from the University of Detroit in 1976 with a BBA. He also held a paralegal degree. He was preceded in death by his parents, Achiel and Alice De Coopman; and his father-in-law, Edward Dory. Tom's family would like to express their deepest thanks to the staffs at Harris Methodist HEB, Health South Rehabilitation and Lion Hospice. Beloved husband of Barbara; dear father of Mark W., Timothy (Ann), Jock (Patti), Niki Gleason (Kevin), Becky Willis (Bob) and Charlie Fritz (Sue); brother of Jack and Sara Fritz; also survived by 18 grandchildren. GRACE, PATRICK J. SR. Age 75. Of Emmett, MI. Died August 27, 1998. Mr. Grace was a real estate broker all of his life. Survivors sons; Patrick J. Grace Jr., Thomas P. Grace, daughters; Carol Smiley, Nancy Worton and Jane Manahan. Also survived by one brother and 13 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife Mary Margaret Quaine. GREINER, FREDERICK H. JR. Age 82, died at his home at Henry Ford Village in Dearborn, August 20, 1998. Mr. Greiner was a graduate of the University of Michigan and of the University of Michigan Law School. He practiced law in the Detroit area for the past 45 years. He served as MESC appeal board chairman, Was appointed by Governor Romney and also was president of the Harper Woods School Board from 1963-1968. He placed first in the Northern Oratorical League Contest in 1938, Member of the American Bar, Michigan Bar and the Metropolitan Bar. American Judicature Society. He is survived by his wife Ruth. Sons Frederick T., Paul W. and Douglas G. and 3 granddaughters Cari, Kelly, and Jennifer Greiner.
