KEPPEL, MARJORIE ELIZABETH (TOWLER) Age 82, formerly of St. Clairsville, OH, on Thursday, August 26, 1999 at Columbus (Ohio) Alzheimers Care Center. Marge studied music at a young age, and after spending a summer at Julliard School of Music in New York during her teen years, began to share her music through teaching piano. She inspired many and shared her life and love of music with everyone with whom she came in contact. She was the Church Choir Director at Calvary Presbyterian Church in St. Clairsville from 1957 to approximately 1990 and has aided hundreds to learn Scripture through music. She was especially talented at reaching young people, and with her husband, Paulus, was Youth Director at the church for over 10 years. She taught piano to hundreds of young people in Detroit from 1932 to 1954 and to hundreds more in St. Clairsville from 1956 to 1992. She thrilled everyone who ever heard her play the piano. Preceded in death by husband, Paulus John Keppel. survived by daughters, Theo (James) Bradshaw of Gahanna, OH, Marjorie (James) Gross of Newport, NC, Dr. Pauline (James) Cushman of New Market, VA, Elizabeth (Charles) Keppel of W. Bloomfield, MI, son, Dr. Lowell (B.) Keppel of Brookfield, WI; brother, Maximilian Heber (Hazel) Towler of Pearland, TX; 14 grandchildren, 12 great- grandchildren. Mother of four, Grandmother of four. survived by Jerrold V. Marsh, (Esq) 23100 Jefferson, St. Clair Shores, MI 48080 (Formerly Traffic Court/36th District Court, Detroit) and Thomas John Marsh (Mischel) and grandmother of Alexa and brothers Paul Poellinger of Wisconsin and Raymond Pellinger of Utah and their families. Predeceased by her beloved spouse of 50 years LaVerne E. Marsh, and by their son Daniel James Marsh Esq (ex GMAC Troy) surviving spouse Ruth and children Michael and Kathleen (White Lake) and son Steven (Florida). Predeceased by daughter Kathleen Maire, in infancy. survived by numerous additional nieces and nephews. survived by host of loving friends, particularly Magdalena Korpus, Carla DeCrease, Ida Mucciante and Frank & Connie Wisniewski of Michigan, and her lifelong friends in Wisconsin. We extend deep gratitude and express our respect to Raymond Pellinger and Paul Poellinger and their families for decades of love and support to Helen Marsh and her family; to countless friends who stood by her. to the Michigan legal community; to the Catholic clergy & nuns; to Hospice of Michigan; to the medical professionals who treated her, and particularly to Mr. Michael Wilk, Jurdiewicz & Wilk Funeral Home, Hamtramck, Michigan for excellent service in final arrangements. NAGLE, JOSEPH, Age 80. passed away August 17, 99 at his home in Streator, Ill. where he has resided since 1979. Prior to that he lived in both Ferndale & Royal Oak, MI since 1944. Mr. Nagle retired from Wonder Bread in 1975 and in the late 40 s/early 50's owned a butcher shop in Royal Oak. He was a WWII veteran serving in Europe and the Pacific Theater. Surviving are his children, Michael (Brenda) Nagle of Royal Oak and Patt Hansen of Howell. Also his five grandchildren, Michael, Lindsey & Kelly Nagle, Steven & Katie Hansen also survive. A military burial was in Ransom, Ill. on August 21, 1999. Memorials may be made to the University of Michigan Kresge Eye Institute for the research for a cure to macular degeneration or to charity of the donor's choice
