WILLIAMS, MARIE C., of Higgins Lake. passed away Saturday, August 26, 2000 at Tendercare Nursing Center in Gaylord, MI. Age 76 years. Marie C. Maloney was born December 13, 1923 in Springfield, IL. She married John Williams February 14, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan he predeceased her in 1991. Marie was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Roscommon and a member of Auxillary at Roscommon V.F.W. Post. Surviving are one daughter, Brenda Marek, Houghton Lake and one son, Gregory (Tasha) Williams, Camp Zama, Japan; six grandchildren, Christopher Marek, Megan Marek, Jonathan, Susan, Cameron, James Williams; one sister and two brothers Betty Corbett, Charles Maloney and John Maloney. Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2000 at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Roscommon. Fr. Anthony Citro will officiate. Interment will follow in Gerrish Township cemetery.
