PACKARD, JUDY (nee CAROL SWOPE) 72, Waterford. Beloved wife, mother and grandmother. survived by husband Stuart, son Bill and his wife Susan, grandson Andrew, sister Barbara Meeks of Beals, Me. and cousin Patricia Dimas of Antelope, Ca. Judy was born in Mobile, Al. and grew up in Louisville, Ky. She served in the U.S. Navy Waves during WWII. She earned her BA at Michigan State University and her MA and Ph.D. at the University of Michigan. She worked in public schools in Michigan for thirty years. Her last assignment was as a school psychologist in the Bloomfield Hills Schools. Judy was a member of Central United Methodist Church where she participated in a variety of activities related to worship and service. She was also a member of the American and Michigan Personnel and Guidance Association. She and her husband participated for many years as actors and directors of educational and community theatre.
