Age 77, died Tuesday, October 26, 1999 at Heartland of Ann Arbor.

She was born March 19, 1922 in Saline Twp., MI. the daughter of John and Mary (Layan) Whitley and on August 6, 1954 she married Dwight Bilbo in E. Tawas, MI.

Mrs. Bilbo was a homemaker and a member of the Oscoda Yacht Club and is survived by her sister-in-law, Garnet Whitley ofChelsea, MI and several nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight, on March 15, 1986, her parents; three sisters; and one brother.

Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be scheduled at a later date.

Arrangements by NIE FUNERAL HOME, 2400 Carpenter Rd.

McMullen, Susan Elizabeth, Ann Arbor, MI

Age 42, died Tuesday morning, October 26, 1999 at home.

Susan was born on February 25, 1957 in Dearborn, Michigan, the daughter of Keith and Elizabeth (Burns) McMullen.

Susan is survived by her mother; Elizabeth Betty McMullen, her brothers; Stephen (Jennifer) McMullen of Kalamazoo, MI and Patrick (Dixie) McMullen of Phoenix, AZ.

Also surviving are two nieces and a nephew, several aunts, uncles and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her father on February 9, 1994.

Funeral mass will be celebrated 11:30 a.m., Saturday, October 30, 1999 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2250 E. Stadium Blvd., with Rev. Fr. James McDougel, Celebrant.

Memorial Tributes may be made in Susan's honor to Arbor Hospice, 2366 Oak Valley Dr., Ann Arbor, MI 48103.

Envelopes are available at the NIE FUNERAL HOME, 2400 Carpenter Rd. where the family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday.

A scripture service will be held7 p.m. Friday at Nie Funeral Home.

Alt, Peter, L., Whitmore Lake, MI

Age 48, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 1999 at his home after an extended illness.

On July 20, 1996 Peter married his loving wife, Lisa Panetta-Alt, who survives.

He is also survived by his daughter, Alexis Leigh Alt; his parents, Glen Alt Jr. and Alice Mae Sampair; his brothers, John (Vicky) and David (Kathy); sister, Deborah Sidelinker; and dearest friends Lois and Patricia Sidelinker.

Most important to Peter was his love for his wife and daughter.

He enjoyed golfing, boating, fishing and camping.

He worked as a self-employed builder by owning and operating Altimate Builder.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 28, 1999 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Hamburg with Pastor Mark Neumann officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Hospice of Washtenaw.

Briggs, Patricia Ann, Hamburg Twp., MI

Age 52, died Wednesday morning, October 27, 1999 at the Arbor Hospice residence.

Pat was born March 15, 1947, in Detroit, the daughter of Leon and Noreene (Crane) Briggs.

She has been an Ann Arbor area resident for the past 25 years, where she has been a groomer at Groom'n Go.

Pat has been a volunteer for the Ovarian Cancer Coalition, the Humane Society of Huron Valley and many other animal rescue organizations.

Surviving is her mother; Noreene Briggs of Birmingham, her sister; LeNore Briggs of Berkley and many dedicated and supportive friends.

Also her animal friends.

Memorial tributes may be made in Pats honor to the American Cancer Society, Ovarian Cancer Research or The Gail Purtan Ovarian Cancer Research Fund of Karmanos Cancer Center.

Envelopes are available at the NIE FUNERAL HOME, 2400 Carpenter Rd., where the friends and family will gather today 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, Nie Funeral Home.

Alexander, Marguerite W., Ann Arbor, MI

Age 92, died Monday, October 25, 1999 at Arbor Hospice in Ann Arbor.

She was born May 19, 1908 in Wilmerding, PA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Morrison and her daughter Susan (True).

Survivors include her son, David of Sunnyvale, CA, and her four granddaughters; Sharlene Alexander, Marie True, Lisa True and Beth True.

She was a student of genealogy and an avid pianist who entertained the residents of Hillside Terrace with popular tunes before dinner.

Memorial services will be held 8:30 p.m. Saturday, October 30, 1999 at MUEHLIG FUNERAL CHAPEL.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Saturday, October 30.

Interment will be at the Homewood cemetery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Thompson, Frances A., Ypsilanti Twp., MI

Age 83, died Wednesday, October 27, 1999 at Oakwood Hospital - Beyer Center.

She was born September 4, 1916 the daughter of the late Georgia F. Hunt, and was the wife of the late Harlie M. Thompson who preceded her in death in June 1969. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ypsilanti.

Mrs. Thompson was self-employed with a nursing home and retired in 1974.

She was a member of Rebekah Lodge #270 of Ypsilanti and also a member of the Senior Center on Clark Road.

Survivors include one son, Frank H. (Dottie) Alexander of KY; and one daughter, Mary G. (Frank) Byakowski of Belleville; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Eugene R. (Faye) Hunt of Ypsilanti; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; a special friend, Stella Swope.

She was preceded in death by a baby sister, Delia Hunt.

Rite of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 29, at 10 am at Transfiguration Catholic Church with Rev. Edmond Ertzbischoff officiating.

Burial will follow in Highland cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.

Envelopes will be available at JANOWIAK FUNERAL HOME, GEER-LOGAN CHAPEL, where the family will receive friends Thursday from 12 noon until 9 p.m. with a Scripture Service 7 p.m. at the church on Friday 9 a.m. until time of service.

Fyfe, Jessie M., Dexter, MI

Age 102, died at Arbor Hospice on Tuesday, October 26, 1999.

Born August 14, 1897 in Brooklyn, N.Y. She moved to Ann Arbor in 1924 upon her marriage to John B. Fyfe and lived there until 1957 when they moved to Dexter.

In Ann Arbor she was involved in organizing the Girl Scouts, as well as active in the PTA, West Side Women's Club and Chorus and ST. Andrew's Episcopal Church.

After moving to Dexter she became a member of the Dexter Women's Club and St. James Episcopal Church and Altar Guild.

She is survived by her son John B. Fyfe Jr. (Martha), two daughters; Marjorie Wells and Jessie Reissig, seven grand children and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Her husband John B. Fyfe Sr. preceded her in death in 1983.

Visitation will be held at the HOSMER-MUEHLIG FUNERAL HOME, Dexter from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 1999.

A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn cemetery in Dexter at 1 P.M. on Saturday, October 30, 1999 with Fr. David Horning officiating.

Memorials may be made to ST. James Episcopal Altar Guild or the Dexter District Library or Arbor Hospice.

Fritts, Louis, Lewiston, MI

(Formerly of Ann Arbor)

Age 72, passed away October 27, 1999 at the Arbor Hospice Residence.

He was born on April 4, 1927 in Ann Arbor to Charles and Charlotte Redenbacker Fritts.

A Navy veteran, he lived in Ann Arbor and was a member of the Operating Engineers Local #324 and the American Legion for more than 40 years.

In 1974 he moved to Lewiston, MI where he pursued his love for his family, snowmobiling, deer hunting, and his cabin.

Survivors include his loving wife, Vivian; and sons, Charles (Patricia) and Chadrick; one daughter, Colleen (Jack) Brooks, all of Ann Arbor; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his sisters, Elma Fritts of Chevy Chase, MD, Marian Meunier of Ann Arbor, Joyce (Russell) Wiedmeyer of Ann Arbor, and Janet (Steve) Pavlik of Sterling, MI.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 1, 1999 at 11 a.m. at the MUEHLIG CHAPEL.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Arbor Hospice or The Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease Foundation, P.O. Box 611625, North Miami, FL 33261-1625.

Moore-Hall, Elijah David, Ann Arbor, MI

Infant son of Eric and Sheree Moore - Hall.

The funeral will be 11 A.M.November 1, 1999 at Stark Funeral Service Moore Memorial Chapel with visitation after 10 A.M.

Burial in United Memorial Gardens.
