Age 62, died Thursday, January 28, 1999 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 4, 1999 at the Collins Memorial Funeral Home. Rev. Earl Crockett of Pontiac, Michigan will officiate. Interment at Lovedale cemetery, 5175 E. Bristol Rd., Burton, MI. Family hour at 11 AM Thursday and the funeral service at noon at the funeral home. Viewing Wednesday from 10-9 PM.

MILLER, Mr. Cornelius Alfred -

Age 25, died Tuesday, February 2, 1999 at Hurley Medical Center.

MILLER, Mary Elaine - Life-long resident of Flint,

age 62, passed away Monday, February 1, 1999 at her home. At her request, her body has been donated to the U of M Medical School. A memorial service will be held 4PM Thursday, February 4, 1999 at the Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, Dr. Roy Shelpman officiating. Visitation from 3PM Thursday until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

McKEEVER, David Francis - Of Birch Run, MI,

age 27, died Sunday, January 31, 1999 in Birch Run. Funeral services will take place at 11AM on Thursday at Krauss-Torhan Funeral Home. Rev. Fred Smith will officiate, with burial in Birch Run cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 12-9PM.

KINCAID, Mrs. State B. -

Age 91, of Flint, went home to be with the Lord Friday, January 29, 1999 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11AM Friday, February 5, 1999 from Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 1059 E. Stewart Ave., Pastor Lewis Randolph officiating. Interment RiverRest cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church at 10:30AM at which time the family will receive friends. Mrs. Kincaid now reposes in the Chapel of the Swanson Funeral Home and may be viewed. Mrs. State B. Kincaid was born in Macon, MS December 13, 1907, to the late States and Lela Abrams. In 1937 she was united in holy matrimony to McKinley Kincaid. In 1953 she came to Flint where she united with the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Pastor L.W. Pryor. She remained a faithful member until she became ill. She leaves to cherish her memories: special nieces, Pashan Bell, Lela Mary Johnson; and special nephew, Jimmie Higgins; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends survive. She was preceded in death by her husband McKinley Kincaid, father and mother, States and Lela Abrams, brothers, John and Little Bud Abrams, sisters, Verlene Richardson, Anna Bell Hunt, Mattie Higgins-Lewis, Susie DeLoach, Lena Glen and Evie C. Abrams. Special thanks to the Hurley Medical Center 7th Floor Nurses and Physicians and the staff of Heritage Manor Health Care Center, Flint. Also Pastor Lewis Randolph and the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Family.

Age 37, passed away Monday, February 1, 1999 at his residence.

HOWE, Jennet C. - Of Flint,

age 94, died Saturday, January 30, 1999 at Genesys Convalescent Center. Funeral service was held at 10AM today.

BAIR, Violet Mary -

Age 76 of Ovid, formerly of Grand Blanc, MI, died Saturday, January 30, 1999 at Ovid Healthcare Center. Funeral services will be held at Smith Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel on Tuesday, February 2, 1999 at 1PM. Rev. Larry W. Nalett will officiate. Visitation Tuesday, noon until time of services. Mrs. Bair was born January 27, 1923 in Hillman, MI, daughter of Charles M. and Minnie (Studt) Bonner. She resided most of her life in the Grand Blanc area. She was active in WWII war effort by selling war bonds and she was a member of R.S.R.O.A. Mary was affiliated with the Lutheran and United Methodist churchesthroughout her lifetime. She was a homemaker. Surviving are: daughter, Sandra and Douglas Demuth of Sheridan, MI; son, Donald and Becky Bair of Lehigh Acres, FL; the children's father, Kenneth and Jackie Bair of Houghton Lake, MI; 5 grandchildren, Michael, Nikki, Donielle, Katrina and Nicole; sister, Kathleen and Gordon Lethbridge of Grand Blanc, MI; brothers, William and Marilynn Bonner of Linden, MI, Charles and Ella Bonner of Flushing, MI. The family is being served by Smith Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel

- Age 90, passed away Monday, February 15, 1999 at Heritage Manor Nursing Care Center.

YOUNGER, Mrs. Claudette

- Age 55, died Friday, February 12, 1999 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 1PM Thursday, February 18, 1999 from the Dozier CME Church, 3417 N. Saginaw Street, with funeral service commencing immediately at 2PM. Dr. Isaiah Scipio officiating. Interment River Rest cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Road. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 1PM Thursday. Mrs. Younger now lies in state in the Chapel of the Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. and may be viewed after 2PM today.

SHERMAN, Michael L.

- Of Otisville, age 44, died Wednesday, February 3, 1999 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 10AM Monday, February 8, 1999 at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of The Latter Day Saints, 2120 Wilmar St., Burton, Elders Debi and Dan Benjamin officiating. Burial at Flint Memorial Park cemetery. Mr. Sherman will lie in state at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., where the family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 6- 9PM on both Saturday and Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Contemporary Christian Ministry. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Mr. Sherman was born in Millington, MI on July 6, 1954, the son of Elton and Irene Sherman. Michael married Mary Heaviland on July 29, 1990. Mr. Sherman was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of The Latter Day Saints where he also served as Deacon. He was a sergeant, serving in the US Marine Corps. Michael was a GM employee at the V-8 engine plant. He is survived by: his wife, Mary; daughters, Stephanie and husband Michael Hermann, Rebecca Peek; sisters, Angie and husband Duane Noyce, and Beverly Howell; brother, Steven and wife Dawn; mother, Irene and husband Paul Jackson; 2 grandchildren, Arielle and Jestin; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; and brother, Gary; brother-in-law, Kenneth. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the 5th Floor Trauma ICU Staff.

- Of Flint, age 91, died Sunday, May 30, 1999 at Genesys Health Park. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 7PM Thursday, June 3, 1999 at the Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Rev. James Olah officiating. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 6-9PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

FRITZLER, Jacob "Jack"

- Of Flint, age 90, died Tuesday, June 1, 1999 at Fostrian Manor in Flushing. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

COX, Sophia E. "Sophie"

- Age 82, of Flint, passed away Monday, February 8, 1999 at McLaren Hospice Residential Unit at Kith Haven. Funeral Mass was celebrated today.

FRICK, Rev. Milton L.

- Age 55, Independent Baptist Pastor and Evangelist went to live with His Lord on Monday, February 8, 1999. Rev. Frick, resident of Ft. Myers, Florida, formerly of Waterford, MI, died Monday of a heart attack at the Lee Memorial Health Park Hospital in Ft. Myers, FL. Rev. Frick devoted his whole life to serving the Lord Jesus Christ and touched so many lives with his ministry of songs and preaching. He was saved in 1956 at the Dixie Baptist Church of Clarkston, MI. He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church of Waterford for many years and surrendered to full time evangelism in 1986. He recorded several Gospel Albums and tapes. He was born December 26, 1943 in Holly, MI and a 1962 graduate of Clarkston High School. Rev. Frick received his Biblical degrees from the Midwestern Baptist Seminar in Pontiac, MI and Birmingham Bible College in Birmingham, MI. He received his ordination through Northside Baptist Church of Madison Heights, MI. Rev. Frick is survived by: his dear beloved and devoted wife, Irene; 3 children Sandy Haner (Tom), Tina Lengyel (Charlie) and Randy Haynes (Chris); 7 grandchildren, Henry, Brandon, Dan, Megan, Nichole, Ashley, and Brittany; his mother, Ann Frick; 3 brothers, Ronald of Colorado Springs, CO, Rev. Jerry of Brutus, MI, Roger of West Branch, MI; 4 sisters, Joyce Hoffman, Jeanette Haustein and Marlene Torretti all from Florida and Sharon Hinze of MI. Preceded in death by his father, Elmer, twin brother, Rev. Marvin and brother Melvin. Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. In state 9AM Monday, February 15, 1999 at Faith Baptist Church, 3410 Airport Rd., Waterford, MI until time of Funeral Service at 10AM. Pastor Oliver Allbright officiating. Interment Christian Memorial cemetery. The family will receive friends at Donelson, Johns and Evans Funeral Home, 5391 Highland Rd., Waterford, MI on Sunday 2- 9PM.

- Age 47, of Flint, died Tuesday, February 9, 1999 at her residence. Funeral services were held at 3PM today.
