The funeral service will be 11-00 A.M. Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at STARK FUNERAL SERVICE Moore Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Highland cemetery. Drayton, Alice Adelaide
Canton Township, MI
(formerly of Davison, MI)

Age 86, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2006. She was born April 9, 1920 in Davison, MI, the daughter of Charles and Beatrix (Dewey) Bird. On April 6, 1946, she married Norman Drayton and he preceded her in death in 1996. She was a longtime member of Immanuel Baptist Church and most recently served as chairperson of Missions and Outreach. Her life revolved around church and Christian service. She was active in the American Baptist Women’s group and participating in singing and painting at the Canton Senior Citizens. Survivors include- two children, Carol Drayton of Canton and Allen (Joyce) Drayton of MO; one grandson, Zech Drayton; two sisters, Katherine (Henry) Krusik of Livonia and Clara (Donald) Adams of CO; one sister-in-law, Helen Bird; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Philo Bird. The funeral service will be 11-00 A.M. Saturday, December 9, 2006 at Immanuel Baptist Church, 1565 E. Forest Avenue, Ypsilanti with Pastor Kent Jennings officiating. Burial will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park. Contributions in her memory may be made to the church. Envelopes are available at STARK FUNERAL SERVICE Moore Memorial Chapel where the family will receive friends 4-6 and 7-9 P.M. Friday and at the church from 10-00 A.M. until time of service Saturday.

Falk, Connie, J.
Sault Ste. Marie, MI
(formerly of Milan)

Age 58 died December 10, 2006 in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. She was born August 14, 1948 in Ypsilanti, Michigan to William and Mary (Goldsmith) Phillips. On July 15, 1967 she married David Falk in Milan. Connie was a member of the United Methodist Church of Milan, was Charter President of J.C. Auxiliary, Grass Lake Fire Auxiliary, and she was past Honored Queen of Job’s Daughter’s #44. She & her husband moved from Milan to Grass Lake in 1971 then to Sault Ste. Marie in 1992.
Surviving besides her mother are her husband Dr. David Falk, son Peter Lewis Falk, daughter Angela Jean Falk all of Sault Ste. Marie, sisters Catherine (Harry) of Brighton, Carol (Kenneth) of Saline and Colleen (Justin) Ridge of Sachse, Texas.
Preceded in death by father William Phillips.
Visitation will be Friday from 2-5 & 7-9pm at Ochalek-Stark Funeral Home, Milan where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11-00am with Rev. Kristine Sigal officiating. Burial will follow at Marble Park cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Michigan Fireman’s Memorial of Roscommon, MI. Frame, Tammy Faye
Ypsilanti, MI

Age 45, died unexpectedly at home Friday, December 1, 2006. She was born May 22, 1961 in Ypsilanti. She was a lover of children, the elderly and pets. Tammy enjoyed to crochet and shop. She was a Christian and she loved the Lord. Tammy has been employed by Ford Motor Company, Rawsonville plant since February of 1993. Survivors include- her husband, Maurice; parents, Carol (James) Bryant and Jerry Warden; three sons, Jeremy Bryant, Paul (Bonnie) Baker and Shaun Baker; ten grandchildren; one brother, Michael Warden; and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral service will be 11-00 A.M. Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at New Life Bible Baptist Church, 1175 S. Grove Road, Ypsilanti. Burial will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park. George, Oscar L.
Osseo, MI

Age 87, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2006 at his home. He was born April 14, 1919 in Cambria, MI, the son of Will and Manda (Towne) George. On August 25, 1943, he married May Pullou of Monroe in the Trinity Methodist Church Chapel in Pomona, CA. Mr. George was employed by the Hoffman Dairy of Monroe and then worked at the Willow Run Bomber Plant before entering the U.S. Army in July of 1942. He served during World War II with the Army Ordnance Department in the United States, England, France, Luxembourg, Belgium and finally Germany. Upon returning to the United States in January of 1946, he was employed by Motor Metals Company in Detroit and Turin Pines Dairy in Monroe, then farmed in the Ypsilanti area until his retirement in 1980. He was a member of the College Baptist Church of Hillsdale. In addition to his loving wife of 63 years, survivors include- three sons, William (Dee) of Manton, MI, Thomas (Mary) of Memphis, MI and Randall (Marianne) of Hillsdale; one daughter, Susan (Douglas) Paschall of Ypsilanti; ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Clare and two sisters, Pauline Schaffer and Marie Mann. The funeral service will be 11-00 A.M. Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at STARK FUNERAL SERVICE Moore Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jason Crawford of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church of Belleville officiating. Burial will follow in Highland cemetery. Contributions in his memory may be made to either College Baptist Church or Hospice of Hillsdale County. Envelopes are available at the funeral home where the family will receive friends 4-8 P.M. Tuesday.

Hanrahan, Betty Lou
Ann Arbor, MI

Age 74, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2006 after an extended illness. She was born May 28, 1932 in Ann Arbor, the daughter of Louis L. and Hazel M. (Cole) Barrett. She attended St. Thomas Catholic School from kindergarten through the twelfth grade. On June 11, 1955, she married Joseph R. Hanrahan Jr. at old St. Patrick’s Catholic Church on Whitmore Lake Road and he survives. She was a dedicated member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. In addition to her loving husband of 50 years, survivors include- six children, Michael J. (Karen) Hanrahan of Ypsilanti, Susan (Paul) Kinser of Ann Arbor, Barbara (Melvin) Ward of Ann Arbor, Patrick Hanrahan of Ypsilanti, John E. (Tina) Hanrahan of Ann Arbor and Joseph L. (Stephanie) Hanrahan of Ypsilanti; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Dolores (Donald) Wallaker of Jackson; one brother, James (Barbara) Barrett of Scaramento, CA; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, David James Hanrahan and John Michael Gower. The funeral mass will be 10-00 A.M. Monday, December 11, 2006 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 410 W. Cross Street, Ypsilanti with Rev. Fr. Edmond Ertzbischoff as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Envelopes are available at STARK FUNERAL SERVICE Moore Memorial Chapel where the family will receive friends 4-8 P.M. Sunday and where the rosary will be prayed at 7-00 P.M. There will also be visitation at the church from 9-00 A.M. until time of service Monday.

Isaac, Ethel Pearl (Johnson)
Ann Arbor, MI

Age 73, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. She was born September 14, 1933 in LaGrange, GA, the daughter of Leon and Leola (Truitt) Johnson. She worked at the University of MI Hospital for 30 years until her retirement. Ethel was a volunteer at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Catherine’s House for several years and she was a member of Ypsilanti Church of Christ. Survivors include- four children, Diane Smith of OH, Evonne LeFlouria of Ann Arbor, Natalie (Earl) Hinton of Ypsilanti and Donald (Cassie) Isaac of GA; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; five sisters; two brothers; one godson, Dr. Steve Slack of Ann Arbor; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Howard Eugene Johnson and one brother, James “Jimmy” Johnson. The funeral service will be 11-00 A.M. Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at Ypsilanti Church of Christ, 1070 E. Cross Street, Ypsilanti with Mr. Gary L. Vaught officiating. Burial will follow in United Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at STARK FUNERAL SERVICE Moore Memorial Chapel from 6-9 P.M. Monday with the family hour from 7-8 P.M. There will also be visitation at the church from 10-00 A.M. until time of service Tuesday.

Isaacs, Boge
Ypsilanti, MI

Age 56, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2006. He was born February 7, 1950 in Teaberry, KY, the son of Earmel and Aggie (Reynolds) Isaacs. Boge belonged to Local #959 and worked in construction all his life. Survivors include- his soul mate of 34 years, Mary Maldonado of Ypsilanti; his loving dog, Maggie Mae; four sisters, Brenda Akers of KY, Bonnie Miller of Harrison, MI, Sharon Booth of Ypsilanti and Vicki Blazer of Belleville; one brother, Larry of KY; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers. The funeral service will be 6-00 P.M. Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at STARK FUNERAL SERVICE Moore Memorial Chapel with Pastor Calvin Brown of Trinity Free Will Baptist Church officiating. Cremation will follow. Contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home where the family will receive friends 2-8 P.M. Wednesday.

Kreager, Callie Ann and Erin Alice
Milan, MI

Callie Ann and Erin Alice Kreager, beloved twins of Douglas and Rebecca Kreager, went to be with the Lord shortly after their birth on December 11, 2006. In addition to their parents, they are survived by maternal grandparents, Robert and Beverly Davenport of Milan, maternal great grandmother, Virginia Short of Paris Crossing, IN and paternal grandparents, Jerry and Millie Kreager of Milan. They are also survived by their big sister, Kaicee May. They are also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Lemerand, Wilson J.
Milan, MI

Age 92 died December 29, 2006 at Tender Care Convalescent Center in Monroe, with his family by his side. He was born March 11, 1914 in South Rockwood, Michigan to Charles and Emma (Vanwasshnova) Lemerand. On July 28, 1937 he married Helen Grodi in Ida and she preceded him in death on August 1, 1988. Mr. Lemerand retired from General Motors in 1981 and farmed most of his life. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Milan and the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by two sons; Richard of Ann Arbor and Larry (Cathy) of Temperance 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren
Besides his wife he was preceded in death by a daughter JoAnn Straub, four brothers; Arthur, Raymond, Thomas, and Rolland, two sisters; Bert Reaume and Marie Lemerand
Visitation will be held at Ochalek-Stark Funeral Home, Milan on Monday from 5-9pm where a rosary will be held at 7-30pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at 11-00am. where he will lie in state from 10-00am until the time of service. Burial will follow in Marble Park cemetery, Milan.
Those desiring may make contributions to Hospice of Monroe.

Maday, Robert “Bob"
Ypsilanti, MI

Age 61, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2006 at his uncle’s home. He was born May 25, 1945 in Detroit, the son of Arthur and Georgie Mae (Thomas) Maday Sr. Bob graduated in June of 1964 from Ypsilanti High School. He attended Spring Arbor University and earned his B.A., then graduated from Eastern MI University with a Masters in Geography and finally graduated from the University of MI, earning his Masters in History. He taught at Spring Arbor, worked with his parents at Maday Insurance Agency and then became an antiquarian book dealer and collector. He was confirmed and received in the Catholic faith on November 21, 2006. Survivors include- his mother, Georgie Mae Maday of Grosse Pointe Farms; uncle, Sam Thomas of Grosse Pointe Farms; one aunt, Margaret Cunningham of TN; three close, loving cousins, Frederick, Albert and Charles Pollmar; and finally, numerous cousins and friends, with special thanks to Joseph Sobran and Fran Griffin. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Sr. and brother, Arthur Jr. The funeral mass will be 10 -00 A.M. Saturday, December 16, 2006 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 410 W. Cross Street, Ypsilanti with Rev. Fr. Edmond Ertzbischoff as celebrant. Burial will be on Monday in Allis cemetery near Onaway, MI. Contributions in his memory may be made to the donor’s choice. Envelopes are available at STARK FUNERAL SERVICE Moore Memorial Chapel where the family will receive friends 4-9 P.M. Friday and at the church from 9 -00 A.M. until time of service Saturday.

McBride, Anthony R. “Tony”
Ypsilanti, MI

Age 51, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2006. He was born March 13, 1955 in Ypsilanti, the son of Lonnie D. and Mary E. (Helzerman) McBride. Survivors include- two daughters, Patricia (Chris) Mason and Cheryl (Jayson) Gorham; seven grandchildren; six sisters, Pat Berzeale, Nancy McBride, Sandy Bozman, Barb McBride, Sue Casteel and Debbie McBride; three brothers, Tom, Bob and Joe McBride; and a host of other relatives. The funeral service will be 1-30 P.M. Thursday, December 28, 2006 at STARK FUNERAL SERVICE Moore Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Highland cemetery. Contributions in his memory may be made to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home where visitation will be from 12 noon until time of service Thursday.

Age 68, died December 13, 2006. Funeral 11-00 a.m. Tuesday, December 19 at Greater Faithway Cathedral, 855 E. Clark Road, Ypsilanti with Pastor Robert L. Ford officiating. Visitation 6-9 p.m. Monday at Stark Funeral Service with the family hour from 7-8 p.m. Burial in Highland cemetery.
