Paul Chengary
IRON MOUNTAIN - Paul S. Chengary, 53, formerly of Whiting, Ind., died July 22, 2004, in Macon, Ga.
He was born on March 12, 1951, in Chicago, son of the late Michael and Betty (Seman) Chengary. He graduated from CVS High School. Following high school, he was drafted into the United States Army and was stationed in Germany.
Paul had worked as a truck escort for several years. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, and music.
He is survived by a sister, Michaeleen 'Mickey' (Jim) Bernier of Hardwood; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and many cousins.
Paul was preceded in death by a sister, Jacqueline Kline and a brother, David Chengary.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. Fr. George Kuppayil will officiate.
The family has entrusted the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home of Iron Mountain with funeral arrangements.

Aidan Hautamaki
IRON MOUNTAIN - Aidan Isaac Hautamaki, infant son of Jeremy and Jessica (Constine) Hautamaki, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004.
He will be sadly missed by his parents; his brother and sister, Caleb and Eryn; his grandparents, Brad and Donna Constine and Dennis Hautamaki; his great-grandparents; as well as his many uncles and aunts and cousins.
He was received in Heaven by the open arms of Jesus and his family that has preceded him and will be awaiting the arrival of those remaining here on earth.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 5:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. at First Covenant Church in Iron Mountain.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 6 p.m. at the church. Rev. Dan Wheeler will officiate.
Burial will be in the Chatham cemetery in Chatham.
The family has entrusted the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home of Iron Mountain with the funeral arrangements.

Delber Roberts
IRON MOUNTAIN - Delber W. Roberts, 51, of 117 S. Stephenson Ave., Iron Mountain, died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Oct. 24, 1952, in Detroit, son of the late Delber and Corrie (Bateman) Roberts.
Del was raised in Kingsford and graduated from Kingsford High School in 1970. In 1972, he graduated from Michigan Tech with an associate degree in civil engineering.
He enjoyed softball, bowling and bike riding. He was a member of St. Mary and St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society. Del was quiet man and enjoyed spending time alone with the Lord in prayer.
He is survived by two sisters, Rebecca Duntz of West Chicago and Veronica Roberts of Moon Lake; two brothers, his twin brother, Richard Roberts of Goleta, Calif. and Donald Roberts of Des Plaines, Ill.; three nieces, Carrie Kos, Cathy Baumgarten and Cindy Duntz; and three nephews, Don, David, and Dan Roberts.
Friends may call Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at St. Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Kingsford.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the church. Fr. Daniel Zaloga will offer the Mass of Christian Burial.
Burial will be in the Quinnesec cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul.

James Uhazie
BREITUNG TOWNSHIP - James E. Uhazie, 69, of Pine Mountain Road, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004, at his home.
Jim was born Feb. 13, 1935, in Iron Mountain, son of the late John and Jennie (Peterson) Uhazie. Jim was a lifelong resident of Iron Mountain. He married Marlene (Gustafson) Uhazie in 1957.
He graduated from Iron Mountain High School in 1953 and furthered his education with a degree in forestry from Houghton Technical University. He worked for Kimberly-Clark/Champion Timberlands/International Paper Corp. until his retirement in 1988.
Jim enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending time walking in the woods, watching the Packers, and especially watching all the deer in his yard. He loved to tell his many successful hunting stories and looked forward to hunting season each year with his son and grandsons. Jim also enjoyed dining out with his many friends.
Jim is survived by one daughter, Janice (Brad) Goad of Zion, Ill.; one son, Andy (Pat) Uhazie of Iron Mountain; four grandsons, Chris and Brad Uhazie of Iron Mountain and Eddie and Jason Crummer of Zion, Ill.; one brother, Vance (Dorleen) Uhazie of Iron Mountain; three nephews, Perry (Cathy) Uhazie of Bark River, Darryl (Patti) Uhazie of Manistee, lower Michigan and Ken Uhazie of Wyoming, lower Michigan; two nieces, Shari Uhazie of Sobieski, Wis. and Karen (Steve) Gagnon of Mt. Horeb, Wis.; his mother-in-law, Evelyn Gustafson of Iron Mountain; and many cousins and special friends.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene; his parents, John and Jennie Uhazie and one brother, Robert Uhazie.
Visitation will be held Monday from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral in Iron Mountain.
A memorial service will be held Monday at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Stephen Cowen will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Ethel Johnson
IRON MOUNTAIN - Ethel M. Johnson, 51, of 202 Norway St., Iron Mountain, died unexpectedly on Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004, while camping with her family at Sawyer Lake.
She was born on Dec. 12, 1952, in Norway, daughter of Arnold Berger and Eva (Barttlet) Peterson. She was a lifelong resident of this area.
Ethel enjoyed camping and fishing, and she loved to shop. She loved to be with her family and friends, and also enjoyed her dog, Blue.
She is survived by three daughters, Shaleen (Pete) Demboski of Iron Mountain, Sherry Bates (James Black) of Panama City, Fla. and Katina Cudnohufsky of Iron River; her father, Arnold Berger of Panama City; her mother, Eva Peterson of Kaukauna, Wis.; her stepfather, Everett Peterson of Spread Eagle, Wis.; her significant other, Jeff Downs of Iron Mountain; four sisters, Diana (Jim) Anderson of Hardwood, Judy (Glen) Bowers of Kaukauna, Wis., Sandy Bigosh of Felch and Jane (Michael Garrow) Kujala of Sagola; eight grandchildren, Zackary, Dominick, Jimmy, Sarah, Michael, Mark, Cheryl and Lacey.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Rev. Blaine Donaldson will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in her memory.

Marcella Wright
IRON MOUNTAIN - Marcella Marie Wright, 81, of Moon Lake, Iron Mountain, died Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004, after a short illness.
Mrs. Wright was born on Sept. 22, 1922, in Montreal, Canada. She was the daughter of the late Loretta and Raoul Riel. She moved to Kingsford at five years of age and lived the remainder of her life in Kingsford and Iron Mountain.
Mrs. Wright graduated from Kingsford High School class of 1942. She married Orville G. Wright on March 12, 1945. He preceded her in death on June 17, 1987.
Her past employment included Western Union in Detroit during World War II and J.C. Penney after moving back to Iron Mountain. She and Orville enjoyed ice skating most of their married life and were actively involved in local ice shows. She was an avid homemaker who enjoyed baking, sewing and the beauty of nature.
She had a great love of her family and her Lord. She was blessed to enjoy living most of her life at Moon Lake among her friends. Her energy and positive attitude will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
Her faith, belief and unconditional love of each of her children and grandchildren will be treasured in their hearts forever.
Mrs. Wright leaves her daughter, Marcia (Dale) Tortelli of Appleton, Wis.; a son, Bruce (Shirley) Wright of Brunswick, Ga.; one sister, Shirley (Robert) Collins of Chicago Heights, Ill.; one brother, James (Grete) Riel of Menominee Falls, Wis.; four grandchildren, Bruce (Christina) Martin-Wright, Christopher (Shayna) Wright, Marnie (Eric) Bowen, and Kristie (Joshua) Engle; four great-grandchildren, Seth Martin-Wright, Samuel Bowen and Emma and Sophia Engle; and several nieces and nephews.
Marcella was preceded in death by her brother, Lionel Riel; and two sisters, Carol Siebert and Rita Eighinger.
Visitation will be held today from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home and 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church. Fr. Raymond Valerio will offer the Mass of Christian Burial.
Burial will be at cemetery Park.

Jennie Kenjalo
BREITUNG TOWNSHIP - Jennie Kenjalo, 83, of Breitung Township, died on Thursday, July 29, 2004, at ManorCare Health Services of Kingsford.
She was born on Dec. 31, 1920, in Duluth, Minn., daughter of the late Michael and Boja (Zebich) Kenjalo.
She graduated from Kingsford High School in 1939. Jennie was a lifelong resident of the area.
She owned and operated Jenny's Beauty Shop in Iron Mountain for 55 years. She was an honorary member of the Elks Club, and she loved to play Bingo.
She is survived by a special friend and caregiver, Melinda Howell of Wisconsin; a brother, Eli Kenjalo of Berkley, lower Michigan; two sisters, Angeline Ketola of Grand Rapids, Minn. and Ceceil Saario of Amasa; and several nieces and nephews.
Jennie was preceded in death by a sister, Melka; and brothers, Steve and Mitchell.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. David Anderson will officiate.
Burial will be in cemetery Park in Iron Mountain.

David Ruesch
IRON MOUNTAIN - David B. Ruesch, 50, of Upper Pine Creek in Iron Mountain, was called to heavenly rest on Wednesday evening at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain due to heart complications.
Dave was born on Aug. 10, 1953, to the late Hartwig and Evelyn Ruesch. He was a lifelong resident of the area, graduating from Kingsford High School in 1971. He spent most of his life in the Upper Pine Creek area, where he enjoyed deer hunting with his dad and brothers. He also enjoyed snowmobiling.
Dave spent many years working in the trucking industry, with many of those as a driver for UP Special Delivery. He was a lifelong member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church of Kingsford. Dave was a die-hard Packer fan, loved the races, whether at Norway or on TV, and was a proud grandpa who cherished spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn and his father, Hartwig.
Dave is survived by his three sons, Matthew (Heather) Ruesch of St. Louis, Mo., Brad Ruesch and Adam Ruesch, both of Norway; two brothers, Kent (Denise) Ruesch of Sheridan, Wyo. and Paul (Lynda) Ruesch of Kenai, Ark.; two grandchildren, Isabella Morrow-Ruesch and Paul Ruesch of St. Louis, Mo.; a beloved friend, Karen Samborski of Norway; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Kingsford.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 12 noon at the church. Rev. Walter Steinbach of Bethany Lutheran Church in Kaukauna, Wis. will officiate.
Burial will be in the Quinnesec cemetery.
The family has entrusted the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home of Iron Mountain with the funeral arrangements.
