Lillian Pritchard
APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz. - Lillian Pritchard, 89, of Apache Junction, Ariz. and Iron Mountain, daughter of August and Adina (Cini) Tomassoni passed away on Friday, Dec. 3, 2004.
She was born on Jan. 12, 1915, in Iron Mountain and was baptized, confirmed and later married to Marvin Pritchard of Madison, Kan. in the Immaculate Conception Church where he was buried from in 1966.
Mrs. Pritchard survived her sister, Marie and husband, Walter Zehnpfennig of Sun City, Ariz.; also sister, Rose and husband, Eugene Marcon of Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, and brother, Anthony of Iron Mountain.
Surviving Lillian are her nephew and niece, Larry and Karen Marcon of Sudbury, Ontario, niece, Candace and Don Caviani of Oshkosh, Wis., niece, Diane Zehnpfennig of Washington D.C., nephew, Thomas Zehnpfennig of Milwaukee., and great-nephew, Brian Zehnpfennig of Milwaukee; one aunt, Violet (Peter) Tomassoni of Iron Mountain; and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Tondin-Ross and Freeman Funeral Home of Iron Mountain.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home and at 1 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Msgr. James Kaczmarek will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in cemetery Park, alongside her husband.
The Knights of Columbus will serve as pallbearers.
The Tondin-Ross and Freeman Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Claradean L. Thomas
QUINNESEC - Claradean L. Thomas, 83, of Quinnesec, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, at Maryhill Manor Nursing Home in Niagara, Wis.
Claradean was born Nov. 20, 1921 in Niagara, Wis., daughter of the late Anton and Exilda (Pellerin) Amond. She was a graduate of Niagara High School in 1940, residing in the area her entire life.
Claradean married Gordon Thomas on July 12, 1947 in Niagara, Wis. She was an active member of the choir and altar society at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Quinnesec for many years until the church closed.
Claradean volunteered at the V.A. Hospital for several years. She was a member of American Martyrs Catholic Church in Kingsford.
Claradean loved music, playing the guitar and enjoyed sing-alongs.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Gordon; a son, Robert (Elaine) Thomas of Kingsford; six daughters, Jean Marcell of Shawano, Wis., Virginia (Lawrence) Easley of Wayne lower Michigan, Margaret (Michael) Wilcox of Kingsford, Elaine Thomas (special friend, Tina Marie Baeten) of Green Bay, Wis., Diane Sisak of Iron Mountain and Phyllis (Scott) Rappi of Kingsford; one sister, Louise (George) Hohol of Niagara, Wis.; 13 grandchildren, Jason (Renee) Marcell, Troy (Michelle) Marcell, Adam Marcell (Farah Forsythe), Brian (Christine) Easley, Tom (Katie) Easley, Melissa Easley (finance Jon Orweller), Daniel Wilcox (Kelly Saari), Tony (Kelly) Wilcox, Matthew (Sandy) Thomas, Stacy and Stephanie Thomas and Tyler and Lauren Rappi; and five great-grandchildren, Tristen and Dylan Marcell, Andrew Easley, Casandra Somes and Layla Thomas.
Claradean was preceded in death by six sisters and three brothers.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Dec. 6, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at American Martyrs Catholic Church in Kingsford. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Father Joseph Gouin will offer the Mass of Christian Burial.
Burial will be in Quinnesec cemetery.
Claradean's grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family has entrusted the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home of Iron Mountain with the funeral arrangements.

Robert Holton
AURORA, Wis. - Robert J. Holton, 58, of Aurora, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at the V.A. Medical Center in Iron Mountain.
He was born on Oct. 1, 1946, in Crystal Falls, son of the late John and Gloria (Gribble) Holton. Bob has been a lifelong resident of this area and graduated from Florence High School.
He served with the 2nd Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division of the U.S. Army in Vietnam from 1964-67. As a Specialist 4, his service decorations include the Army Commendation Medal with V Devise for Valor, the Vietnam Service Medal with two bronze stars, Combat Infantryman Badge, National Defense Service Medal, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal with 60 devise, and the Purple Heart.
Bob married the former Donna VanHaute on July 6, 1968, at First Lutheran Church in Iron Mountain.
He worked for 20 years for Hosking Tire Co. and 15 years at Michigan Airgas.
Bob was a member of Homestead Baptist Church. He served as Quartermaster for the Aurora Veterans of Foreign Wars for many years. He was also a member of the Aurora Volunteer Fire Department and was the fire warden in Aurora for 20 years. Bob enjoyed hunting, working in the yard and plowing snow in the winter.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; his son, Paul (Roxanne) Holton of Niagara; his daughter, Tracie (Daniel) Watts of Kingsford; two brothers, Greg (Sue) Holmes of Niagara and Worth Holmes of Niagara; two sisters, Mary Jane (Richard) Spade of Niagara and Geraldine (Gary) Smith of Homestead, Wis.; three grandchildren, Brian Baldwin, Alyssa Holton, and Caitlynn Holton; and his mother-in-law, Doris VanHaute of Aurora.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather, Carl Holmes; a brother, John Holton; and his father-in-law, Raymond VanHaute.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home.
Memorial services will be at noon on Saturday at the Homestead Baptist Church in Homestead. Rev. Brad Moore will officiate.
Burial will be in the Homestead-Aurora cemetery.
A memorial will be established in his memory.

Edmund Ruelle
NIAGARA, Wis. - Edmund W. Ruelle, 90, of 600 Jefferson Ave., Niagara, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital.
He was born on March 23, 1914, in Niagara, the son of the late Wilfred and Laura Ruelle.
Mr. Ruelle was the oldest living person that was born in Niagara. He was a lifelong resident of Niagara and had worked at Kimberly-Clark paper mill for many years. He was also a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
He married Emily Canavera in 1946, and she preceded him in death.
Edmund is survived by his son, William (Darlene) of Daggett; two stepchildren, Pat (Kathy) Recla of Timm's Lake, Wis. and Eugene (Stella) Recla of Iron Mountain; nine grandchildren; many great- grandchildren; step-grandchildren; step great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Margaret Kluth, one stepdaughter, Bernadine Sundquist; one brother; and three sisters.
Private family services will be held.

Carl Lindholm
IRON MOUNTAIN - Carl Lester Lindholm, 87, of Iron Mountain, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at Oak Crest Assisted Living Center in Norway.
Carl was born March 11, 1917, in Iron Mountain, a son of the late August John and Aina (Carlson) Lindholm. He was a lifelong resident of the area, except for his time spent in the army during World War II. He served in the Aleutian Islands and Europe until the end of the war in 1945.
At the age of 26 and after serving three years in the Army, he was shipped from the Aleutian Islands to Germany. While on military leave in Iron Mountain, he married Catherine Ethel McCormick on Oct. 28, 1944, at St. Mary and St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Carl worked for S.S. Kresge for 26 years before retiring in 1981. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping and life in general.
He outlived all of his siblings, a sister, Louise Johnson and six brothers, Glenwood, Lense, Leonard, Milton, Lloyd and Warren Lindholm.
He leaves five children, three sons, David Lindholm of West Bend, Wis., John Lindholm of Palmetto, Fla. and Tim (Darcy) Lindholm of Grass Valley, Calif. and two daughters, Donna (Henry) Otis of Iron Mountain and Gail Grobar of Marquette; a daughter-in-law, Muriel Lindholm of West Bend; seven grandchildren, Daniel Hall, Jennifer Berman, Daren Grobar, Jared Lindholm, Jason Lindholm, Michelle Menza, and Adam Greene; and five great-grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Fr. Daniel Zaloga will officiate.
Carl will be laid to rest at cemetery Park next to his beloved wife, Catherine who preceded him in death on March 29, 1992.
The family has entrusted the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home of Iron Mountain with the arrangements.

William Dishaw
IRON MOUNTAIN - William 'Bill' Dishaw, 64, of Iron Mountain, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, at Evergreen Heights Apartments in Kingsford.
He was born Oct. 16, 1940, in Iron Mountain, son of Rose and the late Ora Dishaw. He was a 1958 graduate of Kingsford High School.
He married Nancy Robinson on Aug. 8, 1975, in Kingsford.
Bill was the owner and president of the J. Verrette Co. in Iron Mountain until his retirement in 1996. He was an active member of the Iron Mountain Elks Club, and a former member of St. Mary Queen of Peace Church, the Jaycees, the Chamber of Commerce, Pine Grove Country Club and the Chippewa Club.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; his mother, Rose Dishaw; a son, William Dishaw of Spread Eagle, Wis.; his daughters, Laura (Larry) Klenc of Sparta, Wis. and Jacqueline Elfatouri of Memphis, Tenn.; four sisters, Gerry LaRoux of Vulcan, Lorraine (Bob) Fronsey of Green Bay, Wis., Sharon (Bill) Schultz of Deforest, Wis. and Cathy (Dennis) Povolo of Kingsford; four grandchildren, Mindy (Dan) Bralt, Matt and Chris Klenc, and Zachary Elfatouri; two sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to noon at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain.
A memorial will be established in Bill's memory.
Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Gauthier, Bill Harvey, Tom Hower, and Lloyd Hord.

Edgar Carlson
NIAGARA, Wis. - Edgar Carlson, 92, of 292 Hoover St., Niagara, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, at ManorCare Health Services in Kingsford.
Edgar was born on May 9, 1912, in Foster City, the son of the late Charles and Axelina (Flink) Carlson.
He attended school in Foster City. After leaving Foster City, he worked for many years as a policeman in Birmingham, lower Michigan.
After returning to the U.P., he was employed in sales. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Edgar married Alice Haag in 1953, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on Jan. 1, 2004.
He is survived by his son, Kurt Karlsson of Washington, D.C. and many nieces and nephews.
Edgar was preceded in death by two brothers, Bernard and Einar and a sister, Bertta.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Tondin-Ross & Freeman Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Fr. Michael Betley will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial.
Burial will be in the Niagara cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Mary Ann Ehlers
NIAGARA, Wis. - Mary Ann Ehlers, 78, of Niagara, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Dec. 7, 1925, in Nadeau, the daughter of the late Delore and Olga (Skuja) Gunville.
Mrs. Ehlers graduated from Niagara High School. She was a cashier at the Red Owl Store. Mary Ann was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and the St. Anthony Council of Catholic Women. She enjoyed cooking and baking.
She married Henry Ehlers on July 27, 1946, at St. Anthony Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Henry; one son, Joseph (Chris) of Niagara; one brother, Walter (Verna) Gunville of Vulcan; three grandchildren, Amy, Melissa, and Matthew Ehlers; a sister-in-law, Marge Gunville of Niagara; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Gunville Sr.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church.
The funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the church. Fr. Michael Betley will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial.
Burial will be in the Niagara cemetery.
The Tondin-Ross & Freeman Funeral Home of Iron Mountain is assisting the family with arrangements.
