Louise C. Gadioli

Louise C. Gadioli (nee Meriano), 83, of Sterling Heights, died Sunday, April 16, 2000, at St. John Health System Macomb, Warren. She was born Aug. 4, 1916, in Detroit.

Mrs. Gadioli was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Frank Gadioli; daughters, JoAnne (George) Dunn and Mary Lou (Ed) Pauliscak; brother, Arthur (T.L. Dina) Merlano; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons funeral home, 36900 Schoenherr Road, Sterling Heights, 9:30 a.m. at San Francesco Church, with the Rev. Julio Schavi officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection cemetery, Clinton Township.

Visitation is 1-9 p.m. today with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Hospice of Michigan, 16250 Northland Drive, Suite 212, Southfield, MI 48075-5200.

Sara M. Goddard

Sara M. Goddard, 96, of Harrison Township, died Monday, April 17, 2000.

Mrs. Goddard is survived by daughter, Ann (Jerry) McCalley; daughter-in-law, Shirlee; grandchildren, Kelley, Shannon and Leslie; great-grandchildren, Valerie, Brent, Lloyd, Audrey, Brent and Troy. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry; and son, Bud.

A funeral service is 3 p.m. Wednesday at Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica, Fraser. Burial will be in Forest Lawn cemetery.

Visitation is 12-3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Marvin F. Helhowski

Marvin F. Helhowski, 65, of Shelby Township, died Monday, April 17, 2000, in his home. He was born Nov. 27, 1934, in Detroit.

Mr. Helhowski was an accountant for MichCon and was active in the MichCon Blue Flame Senior Club.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Boik-Helhowski; sons, Norman (Carol) Boik, David (Lori), James (Cathy), Richard (Kimberly), Robert (Nancy); stepson, Norman (Carol) Boik; stepdaughter, Deborah (Jack) Smith; and 14 grandchildren.

A funeral service will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Therese of Lisieux, 48115 Schoenherr, Shelby Township with the Rev. Tom Sutherland officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection cemetery, Clinton Township.

Visitation is 3-9 p.m. today and 1-9 p.m. Wednesday at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons funeral home, 54880 Van Dyke, Shelby Township. Additional visitation is at 9-9:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.

Catherine E. Keeney

Catherine Elizabeth Keeney, 86, of Warren, died Monday, April 17, 2000, at Henry Ford Continuing Care Center, Roseville. She was born Oct. 13, 1913, in New Haven, Conn.

Mrs. Keeney retired in 1986 following 18 years of service at the Hospital of St. Raphael, New Haven. She was a member of St. Leonard Catholic Church, Warren and St. Lawrence Catholic Church in West Haven Conn. She enjoyed needlepoint and church activities.

She is survived by daughters, Patricia Ann (John) Kulcharyk of Warren, Judith (Michael) Metzger of Santa Monica, Calif.; sons, John Patrick of West Haven, Joseph (Karen) of Rocky Hill, Conn., Thomas of Warren, and Michael (Susan) of Westville, Conn.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, John; and daughter-in-law, Doris.

A funeral service will be held Thursday at Porto Funeral Home, West Haven, Conn. Burial will be in All Saints cemetery, North Haven, Conn.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Detroit Area Chapter, 17220 W. 12 Mile Road, Suite 100, Southfield, MI 48076.

Maurice J. King

Maurice J. King, 68, of St. Clair Shores, died Saturday, April 15, 2000, at St. Joseph's Mercy of Macomb East hospital, Mount Clemens. He was born July 20, 1931, in Bark River Township.

Mr. King was a retired mechanic instructor at Michigan Careers Institute who also served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife, Florence; sons, Maurice Jr., Larry (Robin), Gary (Joyce), Robert (Pamela) and Michael (Cheryl); 11 grandchildren; brothers, William (Yenna), Roy (Barbara), Dwaine; and sister, Diane Lay. He was predeceased by his son, Ronald; brother, David; and sister, Faye Flath.

A funeral service will he held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Lake Shore Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Thomas Duncan officiating. Burial will be in Christian Memorial Cultural Center, Avon Township.

Visitation is 3-9 p.m. today and 2-9 p.m. Wednesday at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson, St. Clair Shores. Additional visitation is 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Lake Shore Presbyterian Church.

Lottie Kozlowski

Lottie Kozlowski, 81, of Warren, died Friday, April 14, 2000, in Fraser Villa, Fraser. She was born April 24, 1918, in Milwaukee.

Mrs. Kozlowski was a homemaker and active in TOPS.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Winter and Sharon (Bob) Williams; sisters, Irene Krzyzanski and Helen Densmore; and son, William; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Benny.

A funeral Mass is 10 a.m. today at St. Anne Catholic Church, 32000 Mound Road, Warren, with the Rev. Michael Kazer, officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel cemetery, Troy. Visitation is 9:30-10 a.m. today at the church.

Arrangements were handled by A.H. Peters Funeral Home of Warren.

Joseph F. LeBlanc

Joseph F. LeBlanc, 74, of Detroit, died Sunday, April 16, 2000, in Roseville. He was born May 2, 1925, in Detroit. He worked as a machinist in the automotive industry, was a member of the U.S. Navy and served in World War II.

Mr. LeBlanc is survived by his wife, Mildred Pauline; sisters, Marion Niblett and Betty Buzza; brothers, Jim and Richard LeBlanc and Melvin White.

A funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot, Roseville with the Monsignor Ferdinand DeCneudt officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Memorial Gardens, Livonia.

Visitation is 2:30-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Darryl W. Martin

Darryl Wade Martin, 61, of Romeo, died Sunday, April 16, 2000. He was born Nov. 3, 1938, in Peoria, Ill.

Mr. Martin retired from Anchor Motor Freight as a mechanic welder and was a member of the Thumb Tractor Pulling Association.

He is survived by his daughters, Alicia (Mark Wilson) Martin of Romeo, Stefanie (Scott) Edmondson of Santa Barbara, Calif.; stepson, David (Kimberly) Himebauch of Columbiaville; grandchildren, Danielle and Dustin Himebauch; sister, Connie Proulx; and girlfriend, Lorraine Wheeler.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Lynn F. Witt officiating. Burial will be in Bruce-Armada cemetery.

Visitation will be 3-9 p.m. Wednesday at Roth-Muir Funeral Home, 296 S. Main St., Romeo.

Rita M. Peters

Rita Marie Peters, 63, of Roseville, died Friday, April 14, 2000, at home after a long illness. She was born Aug. 8, 1936, in Jackson.

Mrs. Peters was a former secretary and purchasing agent for several companies in Jackson and Macomb Counties. She was a member of the National Rifle Association and a past president of the Ladies Auxiliary to the St. Andrews Scottish Society of Detroit.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Lee Peters; son, Greggory Stephen Ball of Lansing; brother, James R. Maher of Michigan Center; sister, Mary Ann Rainey of Horton; and numerous nieces and nephews around the country.

Geraldine R. Raska

Geraldine R. Raska, 64, of Harrison Township, died Sunday, April 16, 2000, at Mount Clemens General Hospital. She was born July 7, 1935, in Detroit.

Mrs. Raska co-owned with her husband Merit Mason Contractors, where she served as a secretary. A 1953 graduate of St. Mary High School, she was a member of St. Hubert Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Melvin Raska; sons, Mark (Kim) Raska and Jeff (Marcy) Raska; daughter, Kelly (Don) Geml; sisters, Dorothy (Frank) McEvoy, and Ella (Ty) Theisen; and nine grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sisters, Gloria Roudebush and Joan Petitpren.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Hubert Catholic Church, 38775 Prentiss, Harrison Township, with the Rev. James O'Leary officiating. Burial will be private.

Visitation is 2-9 p.m. today at William R. Hamilton, 226 Crocker Blvd., Mount Clemens. Additional visitation is 9-10 a.m. at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.

Michael J. Robichaud Sr.

Michael J. Robichaud Sr., 44, a 23-year Roseville resident, died Saturday, April 15, 2000, at Bi-County Community Hospital, Warren. He was born May 31, 1955, in Royal Oak.

Mr. Robichaud worked as an employee safety trainer for a manufacturing firm. A 1973 graduate of Warren Mott High School, he was an avid bowler, golfer and overall sports enthusiast.

He is survived by his wife, Gayle (nee Conklin); sons, Michael John Robichaud Jr., who serves in the U.S. Air Force, and Matthew Robichaud; and daughter, Melissa Robichaud.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Clyne Funeral Home, 22322 Gratiot Avenue, Eastpointe.

Visitation is 3-9 p.m. today.

Cynthia Selva

Cynthia Selva, (nee Loch), 43, of Sterling Heights, died Sunday, April 16, 2000, at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. She was born May 21, 1956, in Detroit.

Mrs. Selva worked as an administrative assistant for EDS for 11 years.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Selva; son, Ryan Selva; daughter, Katie Selva; brother, Ron Loch; sister, Pam Schimer; father, Ronald Loch; and mother, Jacqueline Loch.

A funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons funeral home, 36900 Schoenherr Road, Sterling Heights.

Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. today and 1-9 p.m. Wednesday, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
