Thomas E. LaBelle

Thomas Edward LaBelle, 62, of Clinton Township, died Thursday, May 4, 2000, at Mount Clemens General Hospital. He was born Aug. 13, 1937, in Royal Oak Township.

Mr. LaBelle worked in the construction industry as an operator. He was an engineer in Local 324.

He is survived by his wife, Carol LaBelle; sons, Gerald (Wendy) LaBelle and Mark (Sue) LaBelle; sisters, Eileen Costin, Joan Gilcrest and Mary Grimm; brothers, Bernard, Gene, Jerome, Lawrence, Paul and Russell LaBelle; and four grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 12509 19 Mile, Sterling Heights, with the Rev. Richard Cyr officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Handicapped Children, Washington POHI - Parent Group, 196 N. Rose, Mount Clemens, MI 48043.

Arrangements were handled by Wujek-Calcaterra and Sons, Sterling Heights.

Stella R. Losh

Stella Rose Losh, 79, of St. Clair Shores, died Thursday May 4, 2000, at Bi-County Community Hospital, Warren. She was born Feb. 1921, in Detroit.

Mrs. Losh, a homemaker, was a high school graduate and member of the St. Clair Shores Garden Club.

She is survived by her husband, Frank J. Losh; sons, Jack (Marlies) Davis, Frank J. Losh, Daniel M. (Deanne) Losh, and James H. Losh; daughters, Sharon E. Manning and Kathy A. (Tony) Russako; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her grandson, Jeff.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Gertrudes Catholic Church, 28839 Jefferson, St. Clair Shores, with the Rev. John McGeevy officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection cemetery, Clinton Township. Visitation is 3-9 p.m. today, with a 7 p.m. rosary recital.

Genevieve I. Seidl

Genevieve Irene Seidl, 77, of Clinton Township, died Saturday, May 6, 2000, in her home following a lengthy illness. She was born Jan. 17, 1923, in Hamtramck.

Mrs. Seidl, a 50-year township resident, was active in Girl Scouts of America, Mount Clemens Garden Club, and Michigan Extension Service. She enjoyed sewing, needlework and playing cards.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Adolph; children, Karen Ann (John) Ciaramitaro and David Allen Seidl, both of Clinton Township; and grandchildren, Marc, Andrea and Sara Beth Ciaramitaro. She was predeceased by her brother, Ted Wicka and sister, Bernice Stasiak.

A memorial Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Peter Catholic Church, Mount Clemens, with the Rev. Michael N. Cooney officiating. Arrangements were handled by Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 N. Gratiot, Mount Clemens.

Audrey G. Shea

Audrey G. Shea, 69, of Shelby Township, died Thursday, May 4, 200, at her home. She was born July 21, 1930, in Detroit.

Mrs. Shea is survived by her husband of 48 years, Thomas J.; children, David (Betty) Shea of Lenoir City, Tenn., Carol (Dan) Ishimaru of Ft. Collins, Colo., Ronald (Linda) Shea of Shelby Township and Ann Marie (Dave) Dickinson of Phoenix, Ariz.; brother, Harry Breitenbeck; sisters, Maragret Galvin, Helen Marsh and Mary Lou Breitenbeck; and eight grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at William Sullivan and Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road, Utica, with the Rev. Daniel O'Sullivan officiating.

Visitation is 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to donor's choice of charity.

Josephine M. Spina

Josephine M. Spina, 79, of Roseville, died Thursday, May 4, 2000, at St. John Hospital, Detroit. She was born Aug. 29, 1920, in Detroit.

Mrs. Spina was a retired manager in the banking industry. She served as a volunteer at Lighthouse Outreach Center.

She is survived by daughter, Madeline (Kenneth) Borsuk; sons, Vincent (Sharon) and Anthony (Susan); grandchildren, Lisa, Nina, Tony, Bennett, Quinn and Austin; great-grandson, Kyle; and brothers, Joseph (Mary) Paglino and Vincent (Flo) Paglino. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony; and sister, Rita (Dominic) Moceri.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Athnanasius Catholic Church, 18720 13 Mile Road, Roseville with the Rev. William Siebert officiating. Entombment will be in Resurrection cemetery, Clinton Township.

Visitation is 1-9 p.m. today at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr, Warren. Additional visitation is 10-10:30 a.m. Monday at the church.

Dorothy K. Stubbs

Dorothy K. Stubbs, 85, of Clinton Township, formerly of Algonac, died Saturday, May 6, 2000, at Lake Pointe Villa Nursing Home, Clinton Township. She was born July 16, 1914, in Detroit.

Mrs. Stubbs was a homemaker who was devoted to raising her family.

She is survived by her sons, Dr. Bruce (Mary Paul) Stubbs of Barton Hills, James (Eva) Stubbs of Riverside, Calif., Robert "Bob" (Kay) Stubbs of Algonac and Donald (Janet) Stubbs of Marblehead, Mass.; fifteen grandchildren; and many great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Truman; and brothers, Douglas and William Keyes.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday in the Harold W. Vick Funeral Home, 140 South Main, Mount Clemens, call (810) 463-0098 for service times. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery, Ne w Baltimore.

Visitation is 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Karmanos Cancer Institute.

Priscilla A. Wolfe

Priscilla "Pat" A. Wolfe, a resident of Rochester for 36 years, formerly of Mount Clemens, died Friday, May 5, 2000, at Crittenton Hospital, Rochester Hills.

Mrs. Wolfe was a recptionist at Superior Plastics in Rochester. She was previously employed at Adco Circuits, where she worked in personnel. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Rochester, and her hobbies included golfing, biking, walking, rollerblading and cross-country skiing.

She is survived by her son, David (Kristin) Wolfe of Franklin, Wis.; daughter, Deanna, of Angola, Ind.; brothers, Joe (Hazel) Racz of Romeo and Frank (Karen) Racz of Armada Township; sisters, Rose (Marv) Kriesch of Grand Rapids, Betty (Richard) Parrott, Doris (Howard) Hicks and Helen (J.C.) Biggs, all of Washington Township and Maryann (Don) Riss of Shelby Township; sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Beverly Racz; brother-in-law, Albert Rocker; and three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Christopher and Alexis. She was predeceased by her parents Alex and Julia (Mack) Racz; brothers, Alex and James; and sisters, Julia Rocker and Margaret (Leonard) Raska.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Rochester, with the Dr. Timothy Hickey officiating. Burial will be in Romeo cemetery, Romeo.

Visitation is 3-9 p.m. today at Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, 11280 32 Mile Road, Romeo. Additional visitation is from 10-11 a.m. Monday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Karmanos Cancer Institute or the Michigan Humane Society.

Sarah E. Kaster

Sarah Elizabeth Kaster, of Brown City, died from Potter's Syndrome, Saturday, April 29, 2000. She was born April 28, 2000.

Sarah is survived by her parents, Brian and Holly Kaster of Brown City; grandparents, Ann Kaster of Utica, and Phyllis and Hugh MacLeod of Shelby Township; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandfather, Michael Kaster.

A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 7700 22 Mile Road, Shelby Township.

Arrangements were made by Diener Funeral Home, Utica.

Eleanor D. Knoth

Eleanor D. Knoth (nee Jaskulka), 87, of Sterling Heights, died Sunday, May 7, 2000, at William Beaumont Hospital, Troy. She was born Jan. 4, 1913, in Detroit.

Mrs. Knoth was a member of the Altar Society at St. Kieran Catholic Church, Shelby Township and former member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, Detroit.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara (John) Gielniak of Troy and Pamela (Ralph) Engler of Shelby Township; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, William; and parents Phillip and Victoria Jaskulka.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, at St. Kieran Catholic Church, 53600 Mound Road, Shelby Township. For funeral and scripture times please call the funeral home at (810) 731-2411. Burial will be in Resurrection cemetery, Clinton Township.

Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today and 12-9 p.m. Tuesday at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road, Utica.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Capuchin Soup Kitchen.

Ida M. Moore

Ida M. Moore, 86, of Macomb Township, died Saturday, May 6, 2000, at St. Joseph Mercy of Macomb Hospital, Clinton Township. She was born April 18, 1914, in Wayne County, Tenn.

Mrs. Moore was a homemaker and former member of Royal Oak Chapter 392 Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Virgil Moore; son, James E. (Merilynn) Moore of Macomb Township; daughter, Patricia Watts of Ferndale; sisters, Ervy Hurst of Collinwood, Tenn., Josie (Clyde) Clutts of Oklahoma, Uzora Brewer, Wilton Dixon and Fannie Gallagher, all of Collinwood; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Shirley Pasatta.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Kinsey-Garrett Funeral Home, 420 S. Lafayette, Royal Oak. Entombment will be in Acacia Park cemetery, Southfield. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today and 1-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Kidney Foundation.

Gwendolyn M. Walter, 65, of Roseville, died Saturday, May 6, 2000, at Lakepointe Villa Nursing Center, Clinton Township. She was born Oct. 29, 1934, in Pontiac.

Ms. Walter is survived by her daughters, Eileen (William) Tayloe, Ruthanne (Jim) Rejc and Lynn (Nick) Mantis; son, Clifford, E. Walter III; three grandchildren; and her mother, Stella M. Purkiss.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot, Roseville, with the Rev. Kent Aughe officiating.

Visitation is 2:30-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
