Ann E. Cargill
Ann E. Cargill, 86, of Clinton Township, died Monday, March 13, 2000, at St. John Lakeshore Hospital, Harrison Township. She was born March 25, 1913, in Mount Clemens.
Mrs. Cargill was a homemaker who enjoyed fishing and reading. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Clinton Township.
She is survived by her children, Carol (Thomas) Pflaum of St. Clair Shores, Barbara (Simone) Randazzo of Fraser and Michael (Denise) Cargill of New Baltimore; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Glenn Cargill; brother, Ernest Verbeeren; and sister, Augusta Verbeeren.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Louis Catholic Church, 24415 Crocker, Clinton Township, with the Rev. Pasquale LoGrasso officiating. Burial will be at Resurrection cemetery, Clinton Township.
Visitation is 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. Scripture service at Harold W. Vick Funeral Home, 140 S. Main St., Mount Clemens. Additional visitation is 9:30-10 a.m. Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any St. Jude Foundation.
Giovanni Catalano
Giovanni Catalano, 83, of St. Clair Shores, died Monday, March 13, 2000, in St. John Macomb Hospital, Warren. He was born Oct. 11, 1916, in Detroit.
Mr. Catalano was retired from Eastern Market in Detroit.
He is survived by his wife, Helen E. (nee Yester); children, Rosemarie (Harvey) Ostrander and John (Lios); sister, Mary Turco; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Paul W.; and brother, Joe Paflone.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Bagnasco-Tabbi Funeral Home, 25800 Harper, St. Clair Shores. Burial will be in Mount Olivet cemetery, Detroit.
Visitation is 2-9 p.m. today and 1-9 p.m. Wednesday with a 7:30 p.m. rosary service. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
Mary J. Docherty
Mary Joann Docherty, 69, a 48-year resident of Roseville, died Monday, March 13, 2000, at St. John Hospital in Detroit. She was born Nov. 4, 1930, in Detroit.
Relatives said Mrs. Docherty "was a loving mother and grandmother."
She is survived by her children, Karen (Morrie) Pianello of Clinton Township, Lorri (Raymond) Coughlin of Clinton Township, James (Suzanne) Docherty of Warren, Marjorie Fett of Clinton Township, Kelly (Daniel Bartolz) Docherty of Fraser, Terri (Gerald) Vento of Clinton Township and Scott Docherty of Chicago; grandchildren, Lisa, Kimberly, Christina, David, Matthew, Aubry, Kevin, Eric and Vincent; brother, Thomas (Bonnie) Culhane; and sister, Patricia (Donald) Smith. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis J. Docherty.
A funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Church in Roseville with the Rev. William Bonnici officiating. Burial will be at Resurrection cemetery in Clinton Township.
Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today and 2-9 p.m. Wednesday with a 7 p.m. prayer service at Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot, Roseville. Additional visitation is 8-9 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Daniel Fierz
Daniel Fierz, 88, of Bloomfield Hills, formerly from Mount Clemens, died Saturday, March 11, 2000, at Georgian East in St. Clair Shores. He was born May 27, 1911, in Royal Oak Township.
Mr. Fierz retired in 1975 as a manager after 40 years of service with Detroit Edison. He was a graduate of Mount Clemens High School, and served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. He was a longtime member of Kiwanis Club 1 of Detroit, where he was also past secretary and treasurer. He was a member of Mount Clemens Masonic Lodge 6 F&AM;, and Masonic Legion of Honor. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and golf.
He is survived by his son, Charles L. Fierz of DeKalb, Ill.; sister, Helen Fierz; grandchildren, Kristyn, Stephen, Justin, Alexandra and Marrisa. He was predeceased by his wife, Edythe.
Funeral services were private. Arrangements were handled by Harold W. Vick Funeral Home in Mount Clemens. Memorial contributions may be made to Kiwanis Club 1 Foundation, Box 441727, Detroit, MI 48244-1727.
John E. Follin
John E. Follin, 55, of Detroit, died Sunday, March 12, 2000, at St. John River District Hospital, East China Township, after a long illness. He was born May 11, 1944, in Grosse Pointe Farms.
He is survived by his mother, Catherine; brother, Chuck (Marti); sister, Cathy (Dan) Ricci; nephew, David; nieces, Sheryl and Nicole; and aunt, Theresa Prince.
A funeral service will be held at noon Thursday at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack, Grosse Pointe Woods, with the Rev. Paul Xuereb officiating. Burial will be at Assumption Grotto cemetery.
Visitation is 1-9 p.m. Wednesday.
Vincent A. Frabotta
Vincent A. Frabotta, 72, of Harrison Township, died Saturday, March 11, 2000, at Mount Clemens General Hospital. He was born March 26, 1927, in Detroit.
Mr. Frabotta retired in 1985 after 29 years as a revenue auditor for the state of Michigan and received service accommodations from Govs. William Milliken and James Blanchard.
A U.S. Army World War II veteran, he was a member of and treasurer at San Francesco Church Parish Council. He was a 1945 graduate of St. Joseph High School in Detroit, and later graduated from the University of Detroit.
He is survived by his wife, Pierina; children, Mary (Ron) Kolis, Tony (Sheryl), Lucy (Lenny) Rancilio and Frank; siblings, Margaret (Nazrene) Gelfusa, Dominic (Rose), Jack (Marti), Gilda (Don) Tiseo and Antoinette (Antonino) Frabotta; sister-in-law, Emily Asni; and 12 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Albert.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at San Francesco Church, 22870 S. Nunneley, Clinton Township, with the Rev. Giulio Schiavi officiating. Burial will be at Resurrection cemetery, Clinton Township.
Visitation is 2-9 p.m. today, with a 7 p.m. rosary service officiated by the Rev. Dominic Rossi, and 1-9 p.m. Wednesday with a 7 p.m. rosary service at Frank J. Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 E. 15 Mile Road, Sterling Heights. Additional visitation is 9:30-10 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Virginia A. Lehner
Virginia A. Lehner, 81, of Roseville, died Sunday, March 12, 2000, at St. John Macomb Hospital Center, Warren. She was born April 24, 1918, in Detroit.
Mrs. Lehner is survived by her children, Nancy (Wilbert) Teise, Karen (William) Hinkle, Thomas (Ellen Dobiesz) and Barbara (Thomas) Combs; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Daniel, Michael, Saide, Jeremy and James; great-grandchild, Berk; and sister, Marian Poskitt. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Donald Catholic Church, 16300 12 Mile Road, Roseville, with the Rev. Michael Donovan officiating. Burial will be at Resurrection cemetery, Clinton Township.

Scott R. Marvin
Scott Randolph Marvin, 28, of Sterling Heights since 1974, died Sunday, March 12, 2000, in Clinton Township. He was born Nov. 9, 1971, in Rantoul, Ill.
Mr. Marvin graduated from Henry Ford High School in Sterling Heights and Michigan Tech, where he earned an electrical engineering degree. He was a member of Delta Sigma Phi.
He is survived by his parents, James and Nancy; fiancee, Sunday Wiseman; siblings, Brian of Warren and Keith of Sterling Heights; and grandfather, Henry Pilkey of St. Clair Shores.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Matthias Catholic Church, 12509 19 Mile Road, Sterling Heights. Burial will be in Resurrection cemetery, Clinton Township.

Nancy J. Muylaert
Nancy J. Muylaert, 51, of Macomb Township, formerly from Utica, died Sunday, March 12, 2000, at St. Joseph's Mercy of Macomb West hospital, Clinton Township. She was born March 29, 1948, in Detroit.
Mrs. Muylaert was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Shelby Township.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Gerald J.; children, Curt (Tanya) Muylaert of New Haven, Patrick (Melissa) Muylaert of Chesterfield Township, Scott Muylaert of Macomb Township and Katie Muylaert of Macomb Township; grandchildren, Brett, Majesta, Adrianna and Dakota; brothers, Alphonse (Sharon) DeLamielleure, Darrel (Carolyn) DeLamielleure, Tom (Miriam) DeLamielleure, Dave (Sharon) DeLamielleure and Joe (Gerri) DeLamielleure; sisters, Laura (Joe) Suida, JoAnn (George) Pagels, Marlene (Dave) Farmer, and Margie (Mike) Casteel; and several nieces and nephews.

Peter L. Nagrant
Peter L. Nagrant, 51, of Center Line, died Sunday, March 12, 2000, at his home. He was born Feb. 21, 1949, in Detroit.
Mr. Nagrant was employed as an inventory management specialist for the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Dorene Breault Nagrant; parents, Peter and Helen Nagrant; brothers, Paul (Barbara) and Stephen (Janet); and sisters, Carole (Stephen) Cook, Susan (Robin) Walsh and Barbara Nagrant.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Byzantine Church, 29125 Six Mile Road, Livonia, with the Rev. Nicholas Ivan officiating. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre cemetery, Southfield.
Visitation is 4-9 p.m. today and 2-9 p.m. Wednesday at Manns-Ferguson Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia. A parastas service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Nancy Nies
Nancy Nies, 48, of Eastpointe, died Tuesday, March 7, 2000, in Eastpointe. She was born March 26, 1951, in Detroit.
Mrs. Nies is survived by her mother, Elizabeth; sister, Amy Roberts; and nephews, Timothy and Jonathan Roberts.

Marie A. Palazzolo
Marie Antoinette Palazzolo (nee Cuillo), 84, of Mount Clemens, died Friday, March 10, 2000, in Mount Clemens. She was born Feb. 29, 1916, in Italy.
Mrs. Palazzolo was a homemaker and a member of St. Peter Church.
She is survived by her sons, Jerome and Joseph (Sharon) Palazzolo; daughters, Catherine (Raymond) Balagna, Jacqueline (Stephen) Croaker, Josephine (Lawrence) Ouimet and Grace Tilelli; 20 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons funeral home, 36900 Schoenherr, Sterling Heights. Burial will be in Resurrection cemetery, Clinton Township.
