Pleasant, Michigan 48858 or a charity of their choice.

Pleasant, serving on their boards and committees. He served the communities where he lived, as mayor, city commissioner and school board member in Mt. Pleasant, director of the Oral School, Pine Crest and Coral Ridge Association in Fort Lauderdale, president of the Mt. Pleasant Rotary Club, campaigning for the Republican Party, through active support of various charities and in other, quiet ways. His chosen profession was oil and gas exploration, being president of several oil companies before striking out on his own in 1949. He participated in the oil industry with the same enthusiasm that he brought to everything he undertook, serving in leadership positions on the National Petroleum Council, Michigan Oil and Gas Advisory Board, MOGA, API, IPAA and other groups.
