Loving husband of Eleanor Peggy for over 60 years; dear father of Lois (Vaughn) Wilson and Lee Stacy; beloved grandfather of Jerry Dooley Jr., Sherri (Alex) McGee and Andrea Wilson; great grandfather of Douglas and Joseph Dooley, Cory McGee, Amanda (Aaron) Gardner and the late Lorianne Dooley; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews; preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters. Mr. Stacy was a firefighter for Pontiac Motors, retiring in 1977. He loved bowling, fishing, golf and construction projects around the house. He also enjoyed listening to and singing country music. OLSON, NINA BELLE; of Waterford; December 6, 2008; age 79; born October 6, 1929 in Pontiac, MI. Daughter of the late Orval and Emily Motley; wife of the late Melvin E. Olson; mother of Dennis L. Olson (Joyce), Bruce A. Olson, Paul D. Olson (Sally)and the late Larry E. Olson; grandmother of Daniel S., Sarah M., Kenneth P., and Randall Scott Olson; sister of Louise J. Motley, Grace I., John A., and the late Blanche E. Motley, Walter D. Motley, George O., Raymond E., and Leslie C. Mrs. Olson was a retired Bus Driver for Clarkston Schools , an avid hockey fan, loved her grandkids and a member of Grace Missionary Church. A Celebration of Nina s Life will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2008, 11 a.m. at Donelson, Johns and Evans Funeral Home, Waterford. Rev. Harold Sever officiating. HUGHES, WILFORD FRANK CORKEY JR.; age 53; passed away peacefully to be with his Lord Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital. Family Hour 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 174 Branch St., with Memorial Service commencing immediately at 11 a.m. Pastor Keyon S. Payton, officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the church 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Mr. Hughes will Lie in State in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 N. Perry St., There will no public viewing. Mr. Wilford F. Corkey Hughes, Jr. was born September 3, 1955 in Detroit, MI, he was the eldest of eight children. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at an early age. After graduating from Pontiac Northern High School, Corkey chose to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Army. After his service to his country, Corkey sought employment at Ford Motor Company, and he began work at the assembly plant in Wixom, Michigan, that s until his illness. Mr. Hughes leaves to cherish his memory, son, Wilford Hughes III; mother, Doris Hughes; seven siblings, Moya Hughes, Dorothy (Willie) Williams, Carmen (DuWayne) Smith, Katherine (Collins) Anderson, Karen (Paul) Buford, Mitchell Hughes, Kevin (Maria) Hughes; and many loving nephews, nieces, other relatives and dear friends. Mr. Hughes was preceded in death by his father, Wilford Frank Hughes, Sr.

PATAK, ELEANOR "ELLIE"; age 83; of Northville; passed away peacefully on December 14, 2008. She was born August 22, 1925 in Detroit to Frank and Rose (Ryktarsyk) Narkun. She graduated from St. Hedwig High School in 1944. Eleanor was united in marriage to Frank Patak on April 19, 1947; they spent 61 loving years together. She moved to Northville in 1978; she was previously from Southfield and Detroit. Ellie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Often she would be seen at basketball games or PTA events actively supporting her family and friends. She was everybody's "Grandma". She enjoyed playing bingo and being a busy homemaker. Eleanor is survived by her beloved husband Frank Patak; her children, George Patak and Barbara Patak-Flis; her grandchildren, Sarah Patak, Megan Patak, Julie Flis, and Mary Flis; her sister Rosemary (Jerry) Komendera; her brother-in-law Ted Kaminsky; her sister-in-law Helen Woszczyna; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Dolores Kaminsky and her daughter-in-law Virginia Patak. Visitation will be held Wednesday from Noon to 6 p.m. with the Funeral Service at 6 p.m. at Casterline Funeral Home, Inc. 122 W. Dunlap, Northville. Kathryn Ling with Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church will officiate the service. Eleanor will be laid to rest at St. Hedwig cemetery in Dearborn. WILSON, ALONZO LACY; 1SG Ret., U.S. Army; of Evans, GA; went to be with his Lord Sunday, December 14, 2008, at his residence; age 61; husband of Royce Ann Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a native of Pontiac, MI, and had resided the past 7 years in Evans. He was a graduate of Waterford High School class of 1966 and attended Bible College in Arlington, TX. Mr. Wilson was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and retired after 20 years. He was a recipient of the Valor of Victor award, a Bronze Star for Valor; decorated over 30 times; received the Meritorious Service medal, expert marksman and expert driver. Mr. Wilson was a soul winner who loved his country very, very much and loved God more. He was a youth minister at Faith Baptist Church in Waterford, MI, and was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Evans, GA. He stated "God first, family second, I am third." Family members in addition to his wife include daughter and son-in-law, Kristi Ann Wilson-Ballard and James of Tampa, FL; son, Kyle Lacy Wilson of Mesa, AZ; stepdaughter, Tina Michelle Catalano of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Austin James Barckholtz, Tressa Lynn McDonalds and Emily Jean Cederburge; brothers and sister-in-law: Steven and Cathy Wilson and David Wilson; and sister, Brenda Joyce Wilson-Courter. Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents, William Allen Wilson and Nora Aileen Hammitt Wilson, and a brother, William Allen Wilson, Jr. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 19, 2008, at 1 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, Hardy-McManus Rd., Evans, with Rev. Bill Hilly and Rev. James H. Ritchey officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Johnson, Paul Dineen, Dan Storia, Coy Bulluck, Bob Wilson, Rev. James Ritchey and Kyle Howell. Born May 31, 2008 in Hurst, KY to the late James and Orpha Noble; beloved husband of Janet Noble; dear father of Penny Cremer, Jamie Cook, James Moose Noble and Virga DeWitt; grandfather of Brooke, Eddie, Hunter, Alexis, Jim, Lawton and the late Jason; great grandfather of Peyton and Kaylee; brother of Wilma Jean (Brian) Luke, Lawrence (Connie) Noble, Francis Frankie Noble, John (Alice) Noble, Joanne Noble, Patrice Tiny Noble and the late Susan Noble. Bud was formerly employed at GM Fisher Body and for Wolfe County, KY. REDDING, EDWARD J.; of White Lake Twp.; January 27, 2009; age 90. Loving husband of Florence for over 61 years; beloved father of Thomas (Jeanie) Redding and William (Mary) Redding; dear brother of Harry (Barbara) Redding; beloved grandfather of Kelly (Scott) DePasque, Lauren Redding, Christopher Redding, Andrew Belliotti, Brian Belliotti, Carman (Jorge) Regeuro, Crista (Avery) Phillips and Angela (John) Sanchez; great grandfather of Alyssa and Tyler. Mr. Redding was retired from General Motors Pontiac Motor Division and was a W.W.II Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Pearl Harbor. He was a member of the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association, enjoyed playing hockey and was a hockey coach for the Waterford Rangers and also the Waterford Senior League. Funeral Services will be Friday, January 30, 2009, 10:30 a.m. at the RIVERSIDE CHAPEL, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford. (Maureen) Walenski of Waterford, Anthony T. (Debra) Gelen, Jr. and Dwayne L. (Jeri) Gelen of Dryden, VA; also survived by 15 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by sisters Tootie Mason and Eileen Range. Marie loved her family, her dog Libby, music and dancing. She enjoyed playing bingo and attending the Encore Program at the Waterford Senior Center. Funeral Service will be Friday, January 30, 2009, 10 a.m. at COATS FUNERAL HOME, Waterford. Beloved wife of the late John Bell and the Jack Atherholt; dear mother of Tina (Mark) Cross, Rodney Bell, Perry (Karen) Bell, Audrey Cooley and the late Toni Tatu; sister of Elsie Kammerer, Robert (Shirley) Morford, Caroline (Melvin) Haveman, Hugh (Pat) Morford, William (Bobbie) Morford, Linda Millstead, the late Almeta Sapelak, Raymond Morford, Iris Todoroff, Lelan Morford, Marian Frailey and Grace Kidd; also survived by eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; ten step-children; and numerous step-grandchildren. Connie enjoyed talking with her children on the telephone and solving crossword puzzles. BENEDICT, KAROLINE; aged 80; of Saranac; passed away January 19, 2009. She was born February 17, 1928 in Gross Pointe, MI, the daughter of Joseph and Pelagia Biernacki. She married Roger Benedict, November 27, 1999 at LeValley Church. Karoline is survived by her loving husband of 9 years Roger Benedict of Saranac; step-daughter Heather Marie and Mire Hull of Oxford; grandchildren Haley and Christa; brother Roy Biernacki of Clinton Township; sisters Eleanor Carey of Livonia, and Adrienne and Harold Klumpp of Arlington Hgts., IL; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters. Memorial Services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements by Lake Funeral Home in Saranac.

HARRELL, LILLIAN MARY (COFFEY); 88; of Thorn Hill, TN; entered eternal life on January 27, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tarrence and Susan (Rucker) Coffey, her husband of 55 years, Elvin L. Harrell, infant daughter, Lela Sue Harrell, sisters, Kathleen Rucker (Coffey), brother, Torrance Avery Coffey. She is survived by her children, daughters, Alice Willett and Susan Shorbe and son, Elbert (Elaine) Harrell; grandsons, Michael (Michelle) Harrell, Craig (Patty) Harrell, James Harrell, John (Denise) Shorbe, Jason (Teresa) Shorbe; and granddaughters, Amy (Rodney) (Willett) Winstead, and Laura (Chris) (Harrell) Dorcey; she has 17 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; she is also survived by sisters, Juanita Long and Delta Dalton; and brothers, Samuel (Lena Faye) Coffey and William (Mary Lou) Coffey; many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly including her niece, Kathy Rucker Coffey; and special friend, Jan Fields. Lillian was retired from GM Truck and Coach and lived in Waterford, Michigan where she made many life-long friends. She loved to travel and tend her flowers and various crafting projects. The family would like to thank all of those who cared for her at UT Medical Center and St. Mary s Medical Center with special thanks to William D. Black, M.D. who was her physician for many years and showed her great care and compassion. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2009 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2009 at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell. Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m Friday, January 30, 2009, at Coffey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Manis, Rev. Denver Davidson and Rev. Dana Dalton officiating. Singers will be the Walk Softly and Family, Jan, Debbie and Patti. Burial will follow in the McGinnis-Harrell cemetery in Thorn Hill, TN. Pallbearers: Craig Harrell, James Harrell, Clifton Harrell, John Shorbe, Jason Shorbe and Rodney Winstead.
