BLAZAK, THOMA WALTER of Orion, MI. February 15, 2007 at 62 years of age. Born June 24, 1944 in Hammond, IN to the late Walter J. and Helen Blazak. Dear father of Kevin Blazak of Green Bay, WI, Nicholas Blazak of Lake Orion, MI, Karen (Darryl) Mattson of Hurley, WI; Significant other and best friend of Bernadine �Benia� Lorenger; Step-father of Kenneth Lorenger; Grandfather of Gabrielle, Danielle and Jonathon Mattson, Kal and Lauren Lorenger; Brother of Cindy (George) Massi, Carolyn Wagner, Jeff (Ruth) Blazak and the late Michael Blazak; Also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Thomas retired from the Michigan State Police as a Trooper. He was a private investigator and was working for Code Enforcement for Orion Township. He was a member of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, Sons of the American Legion Sqaud #108, Troopers Assn and was a middle and high school football official with the MHSAA. He also worked as a volunteer at the Buick Open and headed up the Blazak Open. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved to cook.
Funeral Mass: Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, 2700 Waldon Road, Lake Orion at 10:30 a.m.
Visitation: Sunday from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Coats Funeral Home, Waterford. Rosary at 7:00 p.m. and on Monday from 9:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Thin Blue Line. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.

BARBER, JOYCE L. of Waterford died suddenly February 15, 2007 at 72 years of age. Loving wife of John for 52 years. Dearest mother of Michelle (William) Buck, Julie (Mark) Wismer and Jacquelyn (John) Tristani; sister of Pat (Dale) Mehl and the late Imogene Vail. Also survived by 8 grandchildren. Joyce was a long time member of First Congregational Church in Clarkston. She loved to play cards, cook and trips to Vegas.
Funeral Service: Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at 11:00 at First Congregational Church, 5449 Clarkston Road, Clarkston. Interment Oakland Hills cemetery, Novi.
Visitation: Family will receive friends Sunday 3:00 - 5:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Monday 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. at COATS FUNERAL HOME, Waterford.
Memorials may be made to the National Diabetes Foundation. Envelopes available at the funeral home.

ZSCHERING, AMANDA L. Of Waterford. January 22, 2007 at 91 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Herbert B. Zschering. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Minnie McArthur of Oxford. Amanda was born on Sept. 23, 1915, she was the 10 th. of 12 children all 11 siblings have preceded her in death. Loving mother of RuthAnn (John) Stevens of Evart, Kaye (the late Jerry) Harrison of Waterford and Shirla (Rick) Kugler of Waterford. Much loved grandma/nana to Renee (Rob), Tammy (Jerry), Trent (Rhonda), Randy (Angela) Stacee (Heath), Nicholas (Erica), Adam (Natalie) and Christopher (Amanda). Also survived by 16 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well as a multitude of friends. Her greatest joys were her family, particularly watching her grandchildren play sports; cooking for family and friends and playing cards. Amanda was involved with the Waterford Oaks Tuesday Bridge group which she recently won with a 6800 and was very proud of that achievement. She also played cards with the Clarkston Friday Bridge group, the Thursday CAI Bridge group, her 2 table Bridge Club, her poker club and she enjoyed playing bridge with friends every Saturday. She would play pinochle with anyone and all and could �school� anyone in cribbage. Amanda was a member of the Elks Club B.P.O.E. 810 and a member of the Altar Guild at Christ Lutheran Church.
Funeral Service: Saturday, January 27, 2007 11:00 AM at Christ Lutheran Church, 5987 Williams Lk. Rd., Waterford. Pastor John Negele will officiate.
Visitation: Thursday from 7:00-9:00 PM and Friday from 3:00-5:00 & 7:00-9:00 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME, Waterford and at church on Saturday after 10:00 AM.
Memorial donations may be made to Christ Lutheran Church or Samaritan Care Hospice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.

YORK, MAXINE DELORES of Waterford. January 24, 2007 at 81 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Charles M. York. Dear mother of Gordon (Diane) York of Pontiac and Robert (Deanna) York of Clarkston. Grandmother of Gordon (Traci) York, Jr., Michael (Aimee) York, James (Stephanie) Regner and Danielle (Robert) Milner. Also survived by 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. York was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Pontiac.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 26, 2007 at Coats Funeral Home, Waterford. Interment will follow at Ottawa Park cemetery.
Visitation: Thursday from 3:00-8:00 p.m.

WATROS, BRUCE WAYNE of Holly. December 17, 2006 at 62 years of age. Dear father of Steven (Caroline) Watros and Cynthia (Curtis Gilliland) Watros. Grandfather of Valerie and Makayla Watros, Sadie and Emma Gilliland. Brother of Robert (Toni) Watros, Gerald (Kathy) Watros, Sue (Bill Santamaria) Evans, Roberta (the late Robert) Wallace, Pamela (David) Hardenburgh and the late Joseph (Judy) Watros. Also survived by his special friend and his love Dortha Watt.
Memorial Service: Saturday, January 6, 2007, 2:00 p.m. at Coats Funeral Home, Waterford.
Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.

WARFORD, ASA F., Of Keokuk Iowa, died January 9, 2007 at 83 years of age. Dear son of the late Asa and Josephine. Beloved wife of Dorothy for over 60 years. Loving father of Dale Warford of Waterford. Grandfather of Daniel and Courtney Warford and great grandfather of Michael Warford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters. Mr. Warford served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a journeyman plumber employed by Local 98 in Detroit. He has lived in Keokuk, Iowa since August 1979. He enjoyed restoring Volkswagon Beetles, vintage cars and trucks. His greatest interest was in older model cars.
Memorial Service: Wednesday, January 17, 2007, 1:00 p.m. at Coats Funeral Home, Waterford.
Visitation: Wednesday 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

WALKER, ANTHONY M. of Pontiac died January 25, 2007 at 38 years of age. Loving father of Zaria Walker; son of Diane and Wilbert Merriweather and Elijah Walker; brother of Kimberly (William) Boynton and Terrance (April) Merriweather; grandson of Sam and Eola Goode; Godson of Jeri and Jimmy Chapman and Zeola Lewis; uncle of Terrance Merriweather, Jr. Also survived by his fianc� Latasha Campbell and her daughter Imari; the mother of his daughter Stephanie Walker; numerous aunts and uncles; and special friends Kevin, Terrance and Roy. Tony was a graduate of Pontiac Central High School and a veteran of the US Army. He has worked for Chrysler for the last 12 years. He loved to joke around but most importantly he loved his family.
Memorial Service: Monday, January 29, 2007, 3:00 p.m. at COATS FUNERAL HOME, Waterford.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service until 5:00 p.m.

THOMPSON, WILLARD W. of Waterford. January 6, 2007 at 85 years of age. Loving husband of Joyce for 64 years. Dear father of Ronald W. Thompson, Michael L. (Kathleen) Thompson and James M. (Amy) Thompson. Beloved grandfather of Michelle T. (John) Bonner, Kevin S. (Angela) Thompson, Cassidy M. Thompson and Logan J. Thompson. Great grandfather of Jordan M. Bonner, Justin J. Bonner and twins Hannah E. and Evan M. Thompson. Mr. Thompson was a Tank Commander in the US Army during WW II. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church for over 30 years. He Retired from GM. Willard was often lovingly referred to as �outrageous� for his witt and humor.
Funeral Service: Wednesday, January 10, 2007 TIME PENDING at COATS FUNERAL HOME, Waterford. Pastor William D. Merrell will officiate. Interment with military honors will follow at Great Lakes National cemetery.
Visitation: Tuesday from 7:00-9:00 PM.

TELLER, EILEEN I. "EYEBALL", Of Waterford, died January 14, 2007 at 77 years of age. Beloved wife of Thomas W. Teller and the late M.S. "Lin" Lincicome. Loving mother of David (Jasmine) Lincicome, Paula (Mark) Conner and Michael Lincicome. Dearest grandmother of Matthew (Autumn) Conner, Stephanie (fiance' Vincent) Conner, Sarah (Brian) Moran and Michael Lincicome Jr. Great grandmother of Kayla, L.B., Madison, Peyten and Brady. Dear sister Paula (Michael) Lester; sister in law of Denny (Penny) Teller. Eileen and her husband Lin were former owners of Mr. Steak Restaurant in Waterford. Eyeball was huge baseball fan and also enjoyed working crossword puzzles. Over the years she won many blue ribbons for her African Violets.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Overtyme Grill (4724 Dixie Hwy., Waterford) Saturday, January 27, 2007 from 12 noon till 4:00 p.m.
Memorial Donations may be made to the Drayton Plains Nature Center. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.

PONN, CLARENCE E. of Downers Grove IL., formerly of Waterford died February 10, 2007 at 95 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Bettie L. Ponn. Loving father of Carol (Michael) Harris of Westmont IL, and Dana Beisheim of Warwick, NY. Dearest grandfather of Mark, Bradley and Jeffrey Harris and Steven Beisheim; great grandfather of 4.
Funeral Service: Friday, February 16, 2007, 1:00 p.m. at COATS FUNERAL HOME, Waterford. Burial at White Chapel cemetery, Troy.
Visitation: Friday from 12 noon until the time of service.

PATTERSON, BROOKS STUART "BROOKSIE"; age 28; of Lake Orion. Died Sunday, February 11, 2007 from injuries sustained in a snowmobiling accident. He was the owner of a residential building company, an avid outdoorsman and family man. He is survived by his wife Jessie, children Ryder, Luke and Marlee Tru, his father L. Brooks Patterson, mother Kathy Patterson, brother Dr. Dayne (Heather) Rogers, sisters Mary (Gary) Warner and Shawn (Aaron) Sutherland, nieces and nephews Taylor, DJ, Logan and Ella, parents-in-law Jim and Julie Leslie, brother & sisters-in-law Riley, Cody, Jordyn, Stephanie and the late late Jake Leslie and many cousins and friends.
Funeral Service: Wednesday, February 14, 2007, 11:00 a.m. at Bridgewood Church (6765 Rattalee Lake Rd., Clarkston) Luncheon following at Deer Lake Athletic Club (6167 White Lake Rd., Clarkston)
