REYNOLDS, M.D., ROBERT M. of Lake Angelus; February 25, 2007 at 80 years of age. Born April 13, 1926 in London, Ontario to the late Roland and Mary Reynolds. Beloved husband of Mary S. Reynolds; Dear father of Peter Reynolds, M.D., Elizabeth Mary (Kris) Ernst, James Robert (Cynthia) Reynolds and Benjamin Roland (Beth) Reynolds; Grandfahter of Katherine, Mallory, Jacqueline, Samuel, John, Haley and Zoe Reynolds, Bonnie and Megan Ernst; Dr. Reynolds was a graduate of the University of Michigan, Medical School after completing his undergrad work at U of M and Notre Dame. He was Chief of Surgery and Chief of Staff at Grace Hospital and was past president of the Detroit Academy of Surgery. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines, Korea having served in a MASH unit.
Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at First Congregational Church of Clarkston (5449 Clarkston Rd., Clarkston). Rev. Martin Hall officiating.
Visitation: Tuesday from 3:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Coats Funeral Home, Waterford.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Church or Beaumont Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or church.

WILLIAMS, ALTIE R. of Decatur AL, formerly of Waterford died March 10, 2007 at 91 years of age. Beloved mother of Bobby Rodden, Patsy Nelson, Ricky (Amanda) Williams and the late Maxine Henson.
Funeral Service: Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at 1:00 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME, Waterford.
Visitation: 11:00 AM until the time of the service.

WICKMAN, ALLEN THURE, JR. of Waterford. Born October 12, 1955 and died February 26, 2007 at 51 years of age. Beloved husband of Nancy for 30 years. Loving father of Kelley (Scott) Holloway, Christopher Wickman and Joshua Wickman. Dearest grandfather of Celeste, Ariel, Andrew and Rebecca. Dear son of Allen and Shirley Wickman Sr. Brother of Cindy (Paul) Marshall, Renee (Dave) Rowe, Shereen Peacock, Jeffery (Amanda) Wickman and the late Lannette Weber. Al was an employee of Metro Imaging for the past 10 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
Funeral Service: Saturday, March 3, 2007, 10:00 a.m. at COATS FUNERAL HOME, Waterford. Interment following at Christian Memorial Cultural Center, Rochester Hills. Pastor Robert W. Service officiating.
Visitation: Friday from 3:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

WEAKLAND, JASON ANDREW of Clarkston; March 21, 2007 at 24 years of age. Dear son of Sara (Phillip Herr) Weakland and Dean Weakland. Brother of Julianne Weakland, Brandon Weakland, Daphne Hamilton and Justin Herr. Grandson of Larry and Mary Harp and Robert and Sonia Weakland. Great grandson of Bernita Harp. Nephew of Steve Harp. Uncle of Kyla Shipp. Also survived by many other Aunts and Uncles. Jason was a 2001 graduate of Clarkston Renaissance High School. He was employed by Freedom Works Opportunities in Grand Blanc. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, swimming and loved hockey and the Red Wings.
Funeral Service: Monday, March 26, 2007 11:00 a.m. at Coats Funeral Home, Waterford.
Visitation: Sunday from 3:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m.

VILLABOL, JOSE RAFAEL, JR. of Pontiac. March 25, 2007 at 46 years of age. Dear son of Jose R. Villabol, Sr. and the late Santa R. Villabol. Dear brother of Robert (Wendy) Villabol, Cynthia Villabol, Anthony (Margaret) Villabol, Nancy (Mike) Powell and John (Melinda) Villabol. Nephew of Maria Rosado and family. Also survived by many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Jose was a 1980 graduate of Potiac Central High School.
Mass of the Resurrection: Friday, March 30, 2007, 11:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (46408 Woodward Ave, Pontiac). Rite of Committal to follow at Perry Mount Park cemetery, Pontiac.
Visitation: Wednesday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 3:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Coats Funeral Home, Waterford. Rosary will be 7 p.m. Thursday.

THOMPSON, IRWIN F., of Waterford, died March 14, 2007 at 83 years of age. Beloved husband of Marcella for 62 years. Loving father of Linda (Dennis) Campbell and the late Terry Thompson. Dear grandfather of Todd (Dawn) Campbell and Brett (Tonia) Campbell. Dearest grandfather of Kyle and Cody Campbell. Brother of Wanda Anderson, Helen Stormer and Tracy Thompson; preceded in death by brother James Thompson and sisters Betty Smith and Martha June Dufour. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Thompson worked for Pontiac Motors retiring with over 30 years of service; He was a veteran of WW II serving in the US Army Air Force.
Funeral Service: Saturday, March 17, 2007, 3:00 p.m. at COATS FUNERAL HOME, Waterford. Burial will follow at Ottawa Park cemetery, Clarkston.
Visitation: Friday from 3:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m.

SPAVEN, FRANCES LOUISE of Auburn Hills formerly of Detroit. March 6, 2007 at 87 years of age. Beloved wife of the late James W. Spaven whom she married on Dec. 18, 1949. He died in 1983. Loving mother of Carol (Kent) Morgan and James (Donna) Spaven. Dear sister of Martha Draspa. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Frances lived in Detroit for over 60 years where she raised her family. She was an avid reader.
Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2007 at Coats Funeral Home, Waterford. Interment at Glen Eden cemetery, Livonia.
Visitation: Friday from 5:00-9:00 p.m.

PETINGA, ROSE MARIE, born April 13, 1914 in Atlantic City, NJ, departed peacefully to be with her Savior and Lord, March 6, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Thomas J. Petinga, Sr. for more than 55 years. Devoted and loving mother of four, the late Antoinette (Ronald) Frink, Thomas J. (Christina) Petinga, Jr. D.O. of Bloomfield Twp., Charles (Vickie) Petinga of Menasha, WI and Princine Petinga of Waterford.. Also survived by grandsons; Jeff of Chicago, Scott (Janelle) of New Berlin, WI, two great grandchildren along with many relatives in the Atlantic City Area. Rose worked for a time as a Recovery Room nurse at Pontiac General Hospital where her daughter, also an RN, and her husband, then a Pathology Resident were employed. She was an active and engaged person throughout her life with many and varied interests. She thoroughly enjoyed her family, her many friendships, music, dancing, playing the piano, reading, travel and cooking Italian food for family, friends and holiday gatherings. She had the warmest of smiles, a gracious and accommodating nature, a deep and abiding faith in her religion, which helped her to formulate a sense of purpose to her life. She was the family�s pillar, a sustaining and supportive mother, loving wife, and dear friend to many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2007at COATS FUNERAL HOME, Waterford. Rev. Fr. Donald Worthy will officiate.
Visitation: Saturday 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.

MORRIS, FREDERICK G., of Waterford formerly of Union Lake, died March 2, 2007 at 73 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Margot. Loving father of Noreen (John) Lintz, Colleen (Bill) Lange and Marleen (Pat) Roberts. Dearest grandfather of Darryl, Jamie, Andrea, Billy, Kimberly, Colton, Shane and Marissa; great grandfather of Mason, Taylor, Kennedi, Cameron, Ellie and Avery. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mr. Morris worked for Ford Motor Co. Vinyl Plant for 38 years, retiring in 1991. Fred was a member of Pontiac / Waterford Elks Club and Local 400 Retiree�s Club. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and classic cars, but most of all he enjoyed life.
Funeral Service: Tuesday, March 6, 2007, 10:00 a.m. at COATS FUNERAL HOME, Waterford. Burial at Oakview cemetery, Royal Oak.

MELLBERG, DAWN ELLEN of Clarkston. March 27, 2007 at 76 years of age. Beloved wife of Andrew R. Mellberg. Dear mother of Jerry Mellberg and Andrew E. Mellberg. Grandmother of Brandon Mellberg. Sister of Susan (Curt) Smith, Grace (Tom) Crowley, Jack (Vickie) Stocker and Inez Moffat.

McBRIDE, KATHERINE M. "KAY" of Waterford. March 2, 2007 at 88 years of age. Loving wife of Raymond for 60 years. Dear mother of Julie (John Taylor) McBride and Patricia (John) Odell. Preceded in death by 1 brother. Kay worked in the cafeteria at Pierce Junior High for over 20 years, retiring in 1978. She enjoyed knitting, hooking rugs and painting.
Private family services will be held.

Edmund W. ("Ed") Kleinschmit, Sr. Visitation at Lynch & Sons Wednesday, August 7, 2002 from 3-9PM. Funeral services Thursday, 11 AM at Commerce United Methodist Church. The Rev. Dwight Murphy officiating. Burial in White Chapel cemetery, Friday 11 AM. Mr. Kleinschmit was a retired automotive executive who operated auto parts stores in Michigan, Indiana and Florida. He was a much decorated Veteran of the US Army and recieved the Purple Heart and bar for his service in WW II. He is survived by his wife, Joyce, his son Edmund, Jr. and his daughter Joan Tucker as well as grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Anthony Charles Gioia of Ferndale, died at his home there on October 3, 2002. The cause of his death has not been determined. He was 34 years old. He was the lead singer for Fine Bone China, a well known Detroit area rock band. A graduate of Clarenceville High School where he played varsity football and basketball, he also worked as a tiler for Clearwater Pools. He is survived by his parents, Anthony Gioia of Milford and Sharon Wilson of North Carolina and step-mother Barbara Gioia; his brother Christopher Gioia of N. Hollywood, CA and grandparents Anthony & Eva Giola of Elizabeth Twp., PA and Charles Wilson of Florida. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends. Funeral services will be held from Lynch & Sons (Richardson-Bird Chapel) 404 East Liberty, Milford, Sunday evening at 8pm. Fr. Leo Lulko will officiate. Friends may visit Saturday 6-9PM and Sunday from 2-9PM. Burial will follow in Round Hill cemetery, Elizabeth Twp. PA on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice.
