D'arcy L. Wlodarczyk, 50, of Lapeer, died Sunday (Nov. 10, 2002), at Genesys Health Park.
She was born May 16, 1952, in Highland Park, to Lewis and Delores (Stoll) Belanger.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lapeer.
She is survived by her children, Tyler, Colt Lee and Troy Wlodarczyk; sister, Mickey Richards of Roscommon; brothers, Brad (Chris) Belanger of Royal Oak, Tom (Kim) Belanger of Sterling Heights and Tracy (Lori) Belanger of Royal Oak; and her children's father, Bob Wlodarczyk of Florida.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
A memorial Mass was Tuesday (Nov. 12) at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Rev. Ivan Janusz officiated.

Charlotte Stimson
Died: Sunday, November 10, 2002
Age: 90

Lapeer

Charlotte "Lottie" Stimson, 91, of Lapeer, died Sunday (Nov. 10, 2002).
She was born March 11, 1911, in Lapeer to Charles and Lucy "Jane" (King) Cook. She married Weldon Stimson Sr. on Nov. 1, 1926.
She was a Lapeer resident for 86 years, but spent the last five years of her life in Mesa, Ariz. She was a housekeeper for 15 years at Lapeer County General Hospital. She was a member of Calvary Bible Church. She liked to cook and bake and she loved to make afghans for her family. She loved her family.
She is survived by her son, James (Teena) Stimson of Mesa, Ariz.; daughters-in-law, Peggy Stimson of Mesa, Ariz. and Yvonne Stimson of Mesa, Ariz.; son-in-law, John Nagy Jr. of Lapeer; 16 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Bessie Angle Watmuff of Lapeer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Weldon Stimson Sr.; sons, Weldon Jr. and Jerry; daughter, Emma Jane Nagy; great-grandson Grant Wheeler; great-great-grandson, Jesse Miller; her parents and eight siblings.
Memorial contributions may be made to WMPC radio station, Lapeer.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 14) and 2-8 p.m. Friday (Nov. 15) at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer.
Funeral services will be11 a.m., Saturday (Nov. 16) at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Lapeer. The Rev. Arnold Bracy will officiate. Burial will be in Stiles cemetery in Mayfield Township.

Marjorie Marie Everett
Died: Sunday, November 10, 2002
Age: 75

North Branch

Marjorie Marie Everett, 75, of North Branch, died Sunday (Nov. 10, 2002), at Lapeer Regional Hospital.
She was born April 4, 1927, in Prescott to Frank and Gertrude (Cole) Wiltfong.
She retired from Oakdale State Hospital where she worked in the housekeeping department. She enjoyed working on puzzles and watching the Detroit Tigers. When her health permitted, she liked to crochet. She loved to spend time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda of Imlay City, Brenda Bruman of Croswell, Patricia Perkins of North Branch and Marcia of Port Huron; son, Steven (Candice) Cook of Kansas; sisters, Alice Cook of Florida, Lois Armour of Grand Blanc and Florence (Ted) Tebbe of Sterling Heights; brother, Roy (Annabelle) Wiltfong of Prescott; grandchildren, Michelle Cook, Tonia Cook, Steven Cook, Jr., Joel, Alicia Farias, Crystal (David) King, Jeremy (Karrie) Bruman, Wade Bruman, William Watt, Michelle Watt, Noel Colon and Ashlee Colon; six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, nine brothers and one sister.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
Funeral services were Wednesday (Nov. 13) at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Mann officiated.

Shirley Anita Dean
Died: Sunday, November 10, 2002
Age: 82

Lapeer

Shirley Anita Dean, 82, of Clewiston, Fla., died Sunday (Nov. 10, 2002).
She was born July 19, 1920.
She was a Lapeer resident for many years before moving to Florida.
She is survived by her children, Barbara Leitner, Bill, Dennis, Allen and Brenda Loftis; grandchildren, Francine Clark, Milt Leitner II, Kenny, Amy, Heather, Mike, Michelle, Renee Varnum and Allen Jr.; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Earl Dean.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice House of North Ft. Myers, Fla. or Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Lapeer County.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m., Saturday (Nov. 16) at the Lapeer Odd Fellows Hall in Lapeer.

E. Raymond Ball
Died: Sunday, November 10, 2002
Age: 94

North Branch

E. Raymond Ball, 94, of North Branch, died Sunday (Nov. 10, 2002), at Burkett Adult Foster Care in Port Huron.
He was born on May 2, 1908, in Kingston to Frank and Myrtle (Edison) Ball. He married Olive McInally on December 31, 1932, in Detroit.
He grew up in Kingston. He attended Kingston Schools and graduated with the Class of 1925. He graduated in 1932 from the Detroit College of Law. He owned and operated Ray's Department Store from 1940 to 1980. He was mayor of North Branch from 1960-1964, vice president of the Pioneer Bank, member of the North Branch United Methodist Church, co-founder of the North Branch Business Association, Scout Master of Pack 135, honorary member of the North Branch Snowbirds, lifelong member for 60 years of the North Branch Masonic Lodge 312, North Branch Order of the Eastern Star 149, North Royal Arch Masons 238, Detroit Commandery and Knights Templar. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, boating, horseback riding and snowmobiling. He was a loving father and grandfather. He will be missed by his family and the community of North Branch.
He is survived by his sons, Larry (Valerie) of Port Huron and Donald of Port Huron; grandchildren, Larry (Madonna) of Dearborn Heights, Amy (Robt) Nelson of Port Huron, Mike of Port Huron and Jesse of Port Huron; eight great-grandchildren; and nieces, Carol Bartrow of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Marilyn Charlier of Miami, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Olive, on Nov. 20, 1993.
Memorials may be made to the North Branch Methodist Church Building Fund.
A Masonic service was Wednesday (Nov. 13). Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday (Nov. 14), at the North Branch United Methodist Church. The Rev. Wayne Ferrigan will officiate. Burial will be in West Burlington cemetery, Silverwood.

Vivian Moss
Died: Saturday, November 09, 2002
Age: 91

Capac

Vivian Moss, 91, of Capac, died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002, in Lakewood, Colo.
She taught kindergarten and first grade for four years in Lapeer and for 28 years in Capac. She was a long time resident of Capac.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Kersten of Littleton, Colo.; son, David Moss of San Jose, Calif.; granddaughters, Lesli Kissell of Lakewood, Colo. and Alicia Kersten of Sommerville, Mass.; great-granddaughter, Kendra Kissell; and great-grandson, Rylan Kissell of Lakewood, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Moss, in 1972.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Mental Health Association, 2002 N. Beauregard Street, 12th floor, Alexandria, VA 22311.
A memorial service was Saturday (April 5) at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Capac. The Rev. Hal Phillips, pastor of Capac United Methodist Church, officiated.

Thomas John Hutchings
Died: Saturday, November 09, 2002

Monroe, N.C.

Thomas John "Tom" Hutchings, 47, of Monroe, N.C., (formerly of Lapeer) died Saturday (Nov. 9, 2002) at Union Park Assisted Living Center in Monroe, N.C.
He was born June 2, 1955, in Lapeer, to Edward George and Virginia Moule Hutchings.
He graduated from C.S. Mott Community College and the University of Michigan-Flint, and completed his internship through Hurley Medical Center, also in Flint. He was a medical technologist with the American Red Cross.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy; sons, Benjamin (Moira) of Spring Pines and Mitchell; daughter, Kate (Ryan) Edwards of Stallings, N.C.; mother, Virginia Moule Hutchings; siblings, Larry Hutchings of Auburn Hills, Sylvia Birkenbauer of Lapeer and Nan Gyongyos of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and granddaughter, Brenna Therese Hutchings.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward George Hutchings.

Gerald H. Hornberger

Gerald Hornberger, 76, of Lapeer (formerly of Gladwin), died Friday (Nov. 8, 2002).
He was born April 18, 1926, in Detroit to Henry and Mary (McKendrick) Hornberger. He married Mary Petty.
He was a truck driver and a cook at a restaurant.
He is survived by his children, Douglas (Jean) Holston of Alabama, Bruce (Brenda) Hornberger of Davison and Jackie (Chuck) Roberts of Otter Lake; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and siblings, Fern Wheeler and David Hornberger.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Hornberger; son, Warren Davis; and his parents.
The family has chosen cremation.
