NASH, MICHAEL, 80, passed away April 9, 1999 in California. He was born in Detroit, MI. He joined the U.S. Navy and later the U.S. Coast Guard. During World War I he was a Coast Guard interpreter for convoys. He joined the City of Detroit Fire Dept. in 1944. After 25 years of service, he retired with the rank of lieutenant. He then began a second career as an electrician for the Dearborn Schools. When he retired after 10 years, he moved to Bayonet Point, Florida. He was a member of the Retired Police & Fire Assn., American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled Veterans and the National Retired Teachers Assn. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Clare; son, Michael M. Nash of Palos Verdes, CA and daughters Honorah Nash of Torrance, CA and Cory Dixon of Manhattan Beach, CA
