ROBINSON, LOWELL VICTOR SR. a long term Detroit area resident, passed away March 15, 2000 in St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Pontiac. The son of Victor and Sara Robinson, Lowell was born on July 25, 1912 in Marion, Ohio. He graduated from Allen Center High School, Allen Township, Ohio. Lowell served in the Civilian Conservation Corps from November 1933 to August 1937, first in Yellowstone National Park, then in Versailles, Indiana. He lived in Chicago, Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio before moving to Detroit in 1942 to become Chief Engineer for Crawford Door Company. On April 1, 1969, he became Sales Manager for Multi-Elmac Company, retiring in January 1978. Lowell was an active adult leader with the Boy Scouts for many years at the troop and Council level, rising to District Commissioner in the Detroit Area Council. Lowell was a long-term member of Christ United Methodist Church on Detroit s east side, and Orchard United Methodist Church in Farmington Hills. He married Helen Marcelite Stillings of Milford Center, Ohio on June 18, 1938. Lowell is survived by an extended and loving family that includes his wife Marcelite; sons and daughters-in-law Lowell Jr. and Nancy, John and Anne, Glenn and Karen, and Daniel and Sheri; 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; sisters Opal Brust of Milford Center, Ohio, Ruth Luh of Minneapolis, Minnesota and brother Donald Robinson of Marysville, Ohio. A memorial service will be held at Orchard United Methodist Church at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 18, 2000; followed by interment in Milford Center, Ohio. DANIEL, ANGELA, Born March 25, 1909. Died March 13, 2002. Angela lived in Ferndale over 50 years, and considered it home, even after moving to a senior residence. Her favorite role in life was being a wife, mother, and grandmother. Her home was always open to family and friends, and no one ever left her house hungry. Angela was a devoted wife to her husband, the late Stephen and a warm, loving mother to her daughters Madelyn Farrer, Barbara (Ralph) Dixon, and Diane Jaynes. In addition to her children, she is survived by her grandchildren Frank Erdei, Jeffrey Clark, Stacy Rorie, Wendy (Matt) Kastner, and Kelly Jaynes. Each grandchild had a loving, special relationship with her, and she adored each of them. Also surviving are five great-grand- children. Angela came from a large family and has many nieces and nephews also surviving. Funeral home visitation will be Friday 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., and funeral services Sunday 1 p.m. at Spaulding and Curtin Funeral Home, 500 W.
