LAMBERSON, FRANK A., M.D. 88, died March 22, 1999, following a brief illness. He was born in 1910 in Colon, Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan for his undergraduate degree, then earned his M.D., specializing in otolaryngology also from the University of Michigan. He married Delphia Hill, while living in Birmingham, Michigan. They had two daughters, Delphia Allen and Carolyn Tiffin. After the death of Delphia Hill, he married Mary T. Frailey. He was a member of the Winter Park Racquet Club, the Country Club in Cashiers, North Carolina and the Winter Park University Club. Dr. Lamberson was an active Philanthropist with particular interest in the Orlando Science Center, the Winter Park Memorial Hospital and the Highlands/Cashiers Hospital, on which board he served. He established the Frank A. Lamberson Distinguished Lectureship in the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Michigan. The endowment fund supports the annual clinical symposium in the medical school. He is survived by his wife, Mary T., Winter Park; daughters Delphia Lamberson, Winter Park, Carolyn Donigan, Birmingham, Michigan; four grandsons, Michael, Bryant and Dustin Donigan, Sherwin Meeker; and a sister, Harriet Rose. He is also survived by stepsons Fred Frailey, Winter Park, Huston Frailey, Atlanta and stepdaughter Marilyn Grist, also of Atlanta. Memorial services will be held at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home, 7520 Aloma Ave., Winter Park, Fla. at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 24. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to Frank A. He was a Senior National Accounts Manager for Montel Polyeofins of Troy, Michigan. He was formerly employed by Monsanto in Dallas, TX. He was awarded a United States Patent for his development of Polymeric Flame Retardant Thermoplastic Resins on April 25, 1977 while working at Borg Warner, Parkersburg, WV. He was a graduate of Marietta (Ohio) College. In addition to his father he is survived by two daughters, Stephanie L. Turner (Mailing address, HC 81, Box 298, Hernshaw, WV 25107) and Pamela R. Turner of Dallas, TX; three brothers, Philip Turner and wife, Marsha of Kinsport, TN; Ralph E. Turner and wife, Alison of Las Vegas, NV; and Keith A. Turner of Chesapeake, OH. Funeral services were held at Beard Mortuary in Huntington, West Virginia on Sunday, January 17, 1999 at 2:00 P.M. Burial in Rome cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio.
