ROCHE, DELORIS MAE, Gone home on March 31, 2002 after a long and galiant battle with cancer. Deloris was born in 1924 to Ellen and Percy Llewellyn in Pennsylvania, but grew up in Dearborn where she attended school and raised her family. Though she now joins her parents in the sleep of peace, Deloris is survived by her husband Kenneth Roche; children Charles Russell, Susan (Allen) Owen, Kenneth (Sherrie) Roche, Nancy Roche and grandchildren Kendra and Michael. On April 2, 2002 Deloris will become the "stuff of the stars, " she was cremated and returned to her much beloved home. Some people come into our lives and quietly go, others stay a while, leave there lives in print on our hearts, and we are never the same. Arrangements by Lesney and Son Funeral Home, 13201 W. WHITE, GERALD D., Age 87, of Grand Haven passed away Saturday evening at his home. He was born October 25, 1914 in Ottawa, Canada; and married Margaret Harrington July 31, 1937 in Detroit, she preceded him in death December 26, 1993. Mr. White moved to the area 12 years ago from Detroit where he retired after 50 years as a surgical salesman. He is survived by his daughter Kathy Michaud-Sheehy and husband Roger Sheehy of Grand Haven; granddaughter Kelly (Tim) Simpson of Grand Haven and her father Paul Michaud of Sterling Heights, MI., two step granddaughters, four step great grandsons and two brothers; Bernard (Helen) White of Dearborn Heights and James (Donna) White of Fairway, Kansas. He was preceded in death by two brothers Tom and Jack. A Funeral Mass for Mr. White will be held Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick s Catholic Church with Rev. William Langlois as celebrant. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Grand Haven Chapel of VanZantwick, Bartels & Kammeraad, with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Interment will be at Lake Forest cemetery. Those desiring a memorial are asked to remember Hospice of North Ottawa Community.
