WALKER, MORLEY., Born February 26, 1923. In Detroit. Died in Oakland, California on March 15, 2001. Graduated from Cranbrook in Bloomfield Hills, MI and received his BA and JD from the University of Chicago. After 20 years at Chrysler, he escaped to California where he worked for the University of California systemwide. When he retired in 1991, he continued his many projects including gardening, computer work and writing. The "Jolly Green Giant" is survived by his wife, Germaine LaBerge Walker and his children, Cameron and Quinn. A memorial mass was celebrated on Saturday, March 17 at Holy Spirit Parish, Berkley, CA. Companion of Mildred Withers. Ralph s life was dedicated to his family and the game of Golf. For many years, Ralph was one of the top amateur golfer s in Michigan. He was a former Board Member with the Golf Association of Michigan. EVANOFF (JOHNS), KYRIL (CYRIL) March 24, 2002, age 92. Beloved husband of the late Spasia. Dearest father of Dragica Dimefski (Kosta) and Chris. Dearest grandfather of Michael (Lisa), Sandy (George), Karl, Nick and Sophie. Great-grandfather of Molly and Jack. Kyril was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1910, to Hristo and Stefka Evanoff. In 1914 the family returned to their hometown of Prilep, Macedonia. During the next 30 years Kyril and his father built a successful business. In 1944, 11 years after his marriage, he was separated from his family when he fled the communists to save his life. In 1946 he came to the United States and for the next ten years devoted his life to bring his family to the United States. In 1955, he was finally reunited with his wife and two children. For the next 46 years he proceeded to build a successful import business at which he worked until his death at age 91. The center of his life was being surrounded by his family who shared his strength, courage and generosity. His passion and patriotism for the United States and his homeland of Macedonia. This was evident in his love of the Republican Party and the Macedonian Patriotic Organization. Kyril, lived life to the fullest including a good game of black jack and a glass of fine cognac. Kyril passed away peacefully after a short illness in the hospital. Visitation Wednesday 11 a.m. until Funeral service at 12 noon at A.J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Rd. (bet. LINDSTROM, MICHAEL P. of White Lake. Died suddenly March 22, 2002 at 51 years of age. Beloved husband of Patricia. Dear father of Bryan and Eric. Mike was a wonderful teacher and coach to hundreds of Walled Lake students and athletes. He began his teaching career in 1974 and has been a volleyball coach since 1980 at Walled Lake Central High School. He has taught at Commerce Elementary and has been at Walnut Creek Middle School for the past 4 years. He also coached volleyball for Oakland Community College and the Oakland Juniors. He attended college at Ferris State where he played football and graduated from Central Michigan University. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 Highland Rd. Visitation will be Monday 2-9 p.m. Memorials suggested to DAD's (Dads Against Diabetes) or Walled Lake Central High School Scholarship fund.
